Well, my laptop gave me the dreaded BOOTMNGR NOT FOUND message.

I now the simple step is to boot from the recovery disk. One problem.

My laptop came with a pre-installed OS. My "Recovery CD" is my HD, which I can't access.

Short Story short. How can I make my Flashdrive bootable, and how can I put a Recovery CD on my USB drive.

Compy Specs:

Gateway m-1625
OS: Vista Premium.

anything else ye need to know ask me.

Any help will be appreciated.

Also if you could dumb it down for me, it would be doubly appreciated.

That, or get a new copy of your OS disk and boot that way.
