Welcome to Rhegent's Reign Seth Qorbin. I'm your Squadron Commander and I hope you'll have a good time serving with us.

Cadie 'Tinker' Reese is our XO, she's always around on IRC so she's a good source of information of unsure of anything. You can always get hold of me via a PM if you've got any questions or issues.

You've been assigned to Gamma Flight, that's Arthur 'Romanflame' Dragon's Flight so as your Flight Leader he's your first port of call for the day to day live in the squadron.

We are currently preparing for our first joint squadron story with our sister squadron Tuk'ata. The story will involve a series of one on one TIE/In duels that will take place at the Naval Training Facility up at Asteroid 19 near to our home planet of Abrae.

I've already seen you have a detailed wiki page so I'm keen to see you take part of the upcoming story. I've factored in your joining us and have placed you in a duel paring, facing off against CentorHhan (an NPC of Tuk'ata that will be written by their SC Drac or one of their FLs)

I will be PMing you shortly with more information regarding the scenario of the duel but in the meantime I'd really appreciate it if you could fill in a brief description of yourself on our squadron wiki page - all our members have uploaded a summary of their character to help us refer correctly when interacting in story.

@Hunter-Morrell well aware of that. Besides, chances are the military wouldn't seriously think of a cat fight idea. Or would they?

@Romanflame cool, looking forward to RPing together. Let me know if/when/what i'm supposed to do. What i'm not supposed to do shouldn't be a problem.

@Amacuse hey if Tuk'ata is indeed filled with only males then i don't mind. Females tend to create more tension (no, not just the sexual kind) in a squad. That in turn opens the RP to whole new venues which is always fun to not only participate in but also observe as well. Speaking of which, i'll have to double check the rules regarding VE fraternization

That has its charm too... in a way... i suppose. Still, there has got to be a reason why they allow both men and women to join the service. Besides, in a male only environment you hardly get to notice the little things about those surrounding you. If however females are involved then you end up dealing with some small or huge amount of bitching over little things, a bit of gossip here and there, a few romances, a few jealousies, a few stupid acts meant to impress even if that is not always the outcome... At the very least it allows a character to play a gentleman's role or on the contrary play a more sexist one - praising different aspects or simply blaming them on the other's sex. As i said, the possibilities in any of those cases wouldn't quite occur without some females making them possible. NPCs might work to counter this but it's not quite the same thing.
