It's good to be home.  I have to say I'm extremely excited to have a chance at commanding Tuk'ata- and I see great things in our future. Thanks for getting things re-situated, Jaden. 
In regard to the squadron XO: As things currently stand, I see no real need for an XO at this time. So, unless our good Wing Commander orders me to do otherwise, I will not appoint one for a couple of weeks. When I do choose, it will be based on performance/command ability- which means pretty much every active pilot in the squadron is in the running.
So that leaves the question of where Tuk'ata is in regard to its story. For the (very) short term, it will stay the same as it has been: on hold. Now that we know where we stand, I'll be able to get with Cali and Jaden to coordinate on our joint-training mission. In the mean time, I'd ike to get everyone together on a short CD focusing on melee combat training- start thinking about weapons and fighting styles and expect to see me put something up pretty soon. Nazgul did one of these once and it went quite well.

Melee is actually quite fun to write. I'm in no way bummed out by our low numbers, but I find it more entertaining to make fun of it then, well, doing something else.
At any rate, I would be much more active, had I constant access to a computer. I' don't at the moment. While fortunately I still get on enough to post around the place and be active, but It means I'm not able to do any story post, which annoys me since I would like to post on Amacuse's and I's side-story. |
