When the car blew up I thought Touch of Evil, then the speeder chase I thought Ronin, then the jump I thought the train scene in Mission: Impossible, then the bar scene I thought A New Hope, then when Zam Wessel gets shot with the dart I thought Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon...
But ... taking the whole script into account and reflecting upon it... I can undeniably state that it is a letter-by-letter rip-off of Disney's Bambi.

"Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance, My head is bloody, but unbowed.
It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul."
--- William Ernest Henley (1849 – 1903)
