Welcome back, Dnarion. You ought to send a report to StOrMz just to make sure, then you ought to be ready to move up into a combat squadron.
I'd like to welcome Crewman Hoff to Raptor.  Please read the first two posts in the Training Run (you can find it in the Naval Storyboard) and the last two to three and then make a post of your own. Once that is done, I or another Trainer will grade it and give you your next orders.

I or another Trainer will grade the story post and ID line and either give feedback on what needs to be changed (if anything) or give you further orders.

I just posted my first story post. Don't worry that I haven't actually launched yet, it's the first of two posts. I just wanted to get what I had so far up there and get some feedback on it.
Also, in the roleplay/storytelling systems I'm used to, it's considered poor form to control someone else's character. I wanted to get an idea of what the general opinion on that was here. The other trainees seemed to be pretty liberal with it, saying what others responses were and so forth. I was just wondering if that was the way things are done here or if I should shy away from doing such things.

We are rather lax about it so long as you're not hurting other peoples' characters or contradicting that character's previous actions or its personality. The best way to get an idea of our attitude toward it would be to skim over a couple of old missions there in the Storyboard. Pay attention to what the vets do in those and you'll get a good idea of it. Your post looks great. I look forward to seeing the second one. On your ID line: You got very close there, with only a couple of small things to fix: -Make sure you italicize a ship's name any time you use it. In this case, you should have: mSSD Atrus-Make sure you get a dash in there between the A and the 2 on your position section. It helps in making it easy (relatively) to read. Yes, it's nitpicking. ID Line is fixed. Now, the wiki on how to build an ID line says that W:1 is Phoenix, but it says on Phoenix's page that it's deactivated. On Javelin's page it says that Javelin is the 1st wing. Which am I part of? Javelin or Phoenix? (If Javelin, should someone change the wiki on how to build an ID line?)

Welcome to Raptor, Lock. There are two things you'll need to accomplish here: 1st: Read the first two posts in the story Raptor Squadron: The Training Run, then read the last two or three posts as well. This will give you all the instructions you need, as well as making sure you understand where the story currently is. Once you've read those, write a post of your own. I or Amacuse will grade it and contact you with the results. 2nd: Look up the data on Reports in the Flight School wiki section, then write out a report and send it to Amacuse, StOrMz, and myself. (You can add more names to the Send box by putting a comma and a space after each and then typing the next name.) Side Note: The newest addition to the Academy Staff, Amacuse, will be partnering with me in running Raptor's day to day stuff as you can tell from the mentions earlier in this post. @Amacuse: Meh...poor phrasing on my part. You know what I meant, lol. Also, reports in Raptor can come any day, not just on Thursdays. No reason to keep a good pilot here for most of a week if they're already done with everything else, after all.
@Lock: I'm going to have Amacuse grade your post and send his thoughts to me, as a bit of training for him. You should still get your results, from either him or me, within a day or two.
Edit: Having reviewed the post, I'll go ahead and comment. Your writing itself is pretty good, but until you get into combat there's not much we can grade. Please add combat to the end of your post or write up a second one that includes your combat.
