I haz insights... and I'll share a tiny bit...

It'll involve all the squadrons of Phoenix Wing, including the 4 NPC squadrons (Kaph, Aegis, Polaris, Blizzard).

Expect plenty of twisting plots thingies to keep you on your toes.

And... it's been worked to be a metaphor of sorts for the dawning of a new era, in fact it's quite fitting I would think in how we have it written up.

Venom was the training squadron, never was in the wing.

Blizzard was a Squadron iopened March 9, 1999 with it's first SC being 2LT Atrus.

The dead are not being brought back whatsoever here, I was simply adding a small tidbit of information to give a general timeline of when the squadron was opened if dates meant nothing to some folks.

And, do expect some hefty casualties in this mission in order to celebrate the RES implementation.

Edit Addon: I'm sure in character, there's more than one Training Squadron.  Venom probably still exists.  We supposedly get a heck lot more recruits in story.

Figure we must be going up against something big.

If Doc suggests the tone to be full of pathos then I trust it will be a fitting sign off for these illustrious squadrons.

I like the idea of having said squadrons be ambushed, and Viper and Nazgul are dispatched to hunt down those responsible and avenge the fallen pilots. 

Maybe the VE has the galaxy's best healthcare system?

Oh, none of the original pilots will probably be in there whatsoever.  There is entirely no point to go through such efforts to recreate any such instances.  And I of course have no intention of Atrus revival, just stating that, since I seem to have a habit of being misunderstood these past few weeks.

Needed to happen, not many of us seem overly willing to commit seppuku so in order to actually appear non-diefied we had to have some casualties.

seriously, if we'd been a real military organization w/as few casualties as we've had we could've reconqured the Empire in a few months.

There will be a chance for your precious characters to die in this story if you folks wish to do such.  More details will come later as they are worked out, but I will say it gives you a clean slate to make a new character, without losing too much.  It will be a one-time offer.
