I got a letter to the editor today for VE Today, and I thought I'd share it with you:

Hello, I would like to complain about a superior Office and the ideas
he has been having. First off I’ll tell you who it is so as not to
keep you in suspense. It's Lt. Commander Bear. Well at first many of
his ideas for the VE were reasonably good and actually, believe it or
not, made a bit of sense. But recently his ideas have just
metaphorically plummeted in their inventiveness. For instance, his
most recent innovation was some sort of Newspaper thing for the Vast
Empire. I mean, that's never going to work and he even put in a
section where people can write letters to him, it's like who's going
to write a letter to some newspaper complaining about something. If
they had any sense they would go through he proper channels.
Just to round off I think that this officer should be stopped from
putting forward any ideas ever again.
