OOC: This is for Shadow and Cloud, Please no one else post on this runon. It has been a pre-arranged thing, we're just sharing it with the Army. Thanks for your cooperation.
After a hard battle, Nomar, Cloud and Shadow made their way to their quarters. Each one needed refreshing and a good nights rest. They made an agreement to celebrate in the morning. Each one retired to their quarters.
The next day Cloud woke up and hit the refresher. After a long shower, he dressed himself and proceeded to the Lounge for some breakfast. He was walking down the corridor when Nomar and Shadow jumped out of the darkness. -----------------------

"Where you hedaded Cloud?" asked Nomar.
"To the Lounge for breakfast. Wanna come you two schmucks?" he replied back hastily.
"Sure, as long as you're buying." came Shadow's shrewd
comment. He began walking off thinking of what to order.
"I guess, but you get the next one." Cloud answered and ran off after Shadow who was already at the end of the corridor waiting for the turbolift. He had to make sure he didn't order something excessively big and expensive like he had a tendency to do.
The trio arrived in the Lounge and took a set. A serving droid approached them and served them coffee. "Wait,"came Nomar's shout at the droid. "I'll have a Corellian Ale if you please."
Cloud and Shadow both looked at him. Cloud began to ask his question, but decided against it. IT would probably produce a stupid answer anyway. Shadow, however, finished it for him;"Corellian Ale for breakfast? What are you thinking?"
"Why not? I'm really thristy and I wanna start the celebration early, ok. Gosh guys, calm down." he thoughtfully answered to Shadow and Cloud. Just as he finished, the serving droid returned with his pitcher of ale and asked for their orders.

"Just a cup of caf and some fried chocobo eggs for me," Shadow told the serving droid. Cloud reached over and tapped the small droid on its domed head.
It said, "Yeah, what do ya want?"
Cloud said, "You got any glazed donuts?"
It said, "No, we're outta glazed donuts!"
Cloud said, "Well, you got any jelly donuts?"
It said, "No, we're outta jelly donuts!"
Cloud said, "You got any Bavarian cream-filled donuts?"
It said, "No, we're outta Bavarian cream-filled donuts!"
Cloud said, "You got any cinnamon rolls?"
It said, "No, we're outta cinnamon rolls!"
Cloud said, "You got any apple fritters?"
It said, "No, we're outta apple fritters!"
Cloud said, "You got any bear claws?"
It said, "Wait a minute, I'll go check."
"NO, WE'RE OUT OF BEAR CLAWS!"
Cloud said, "Well, in that case - in that case, what do you have?"
It said, "All I got right now is this box of one dozen starving, crazed weasels."
Cloud said, "OK, I'll take that." -----------------------

So the server droid brought back the crazed weasels. Cloud grabbed his silverware and prepared to dig in. But before he could grab one of the starving weasels, the all jumped out of the box and attacked Nomar.
Nomar feel from his car as a result of the attack. The weasels started nawing on him and trying to do crazed things. Nomar thrashed about on the floor and tried to get them off, screaming and yelling. Cloud just sat there, looking puzzled and shocked.
Shadow grabbed the weasels one by one and put them back in the box. He sealed in carefully and help Nomar up. "You ok buddy." he asked his friend.
Nomar looked aorund, a little bewildered and afraid. Blood trickled down his arm from some bite wound and he was missing his hair from where the crazed things gnawed on him."I think so," he replied.
"Waiter!" Cloud yelled to the server droid. "I would like something different. Here take these crazed devils out of here." he said as he carefully handed the box back to the droid.
"One moment," it repiled. It quickly returned and Cloud ordered some eggs, over easy and some sausage links.

A strange man in a dark robe came up to the table and laid his hand on Shadow's shoulder. The young trooper whirled around to see how was trying to get the jump on him and came face to face with, well, nothing. Try as he might, Shadow couldn't see any kind of face or form in the hood's darkness.
"Yes?" he asked cautiously. Cloud and Nomar were staring at the stranger now, too.
"I am . . . the Grim Reaper. I am . . . DEATH," the figure replied. Shadow noticed a wicked-looking sickle hanging from the newcomer's back.
"Well, what do you want with me?" he asked.
"I am . . . DEATH. I am . . . the Grim Reaper. I have come for . . . Nomar."
Shadow turned to where Nomar was sitting. "There's a Mr. Death here to see you, pal. He says he's here for the reaping ... but I don't think we need any of that."
"No, neither do I," Nomar told the dark stranger. "Care for a drink?"
The stranger in the dark robes threw up his hands in disgust. "I am here to take you into the fiery pits of the underworld, foolish mortal!" Fire exploded all around the three men's table and they let out a yell of alarm.
Just at that moment one of the serving droids came over to the table. "Sir, I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave," he told the dark man. "You're disturbing the other customers."
"I am DEATH!" the robed figure yelled.
"Yes, well, your name isn't on the invitation list, so scram." A large security droid walked over, grabbed the robed stranger by the scruff of his neck, and hauled his butt out of the restaurant.
Nomar turned over to Cloud with a tired look on his face. "This place gets more and moe weirdos every day."
Cloud nodded in agreement. "That guy was almost as bad as that Dragoon character over in Jester Squad." -----------------------

Then as the three men dined, a shaggy man came up to them. He stood witha a hunchedback and spoke in riddles.
He slowly approached the table and went to Cloud, who stood up as he approached. "What is your name?" he asked with a starnge british accent. Cloud looked confused but said "Cloud." He then followed that answer with another question,"What is your quest?" With confidence Cloud answered "To search for the Holy Grail." Then once more, the man asked, "What...is your favorite color?" Cloud know this was easy and quickly answered, "Orange."
Nomar now looked intrigued by the wierd man. But that slowly melted into fear when the man swiveled around to face him. He began to repeat the questions again, "What is your name?" Nomar quickly answered with his name. Once more the next question was, "What is your quest?" Nomar proudly responded with his answer, "I seek the Holy Grail." The old shaggy man looked around and then quickly asked his third question, "favorite color?" Nomar thought about the question and said,"Green, no wait..........bahhhhhh!" and was thrown
into the abyss.
Shadow stood up and approached the shaggy man. He looked him straight in the eyes and asked, "What is your name?" Shadow quickly responded, "Shadow."As before the next question was what his favorite color was. Shadow answered fast with an answer of blue. Then the old man asked his third and final question, "What is the air speed of laden swallow?" Shadow thought about the answer, then
asked the old man, "An African or North American swallow?" The shaggy man looked around and blantly said, "I don't know that......bahhhhh!" and was thrown from the
floor into the air and out a window into the abyss of space.
Nomar returned quickly from the abyss and sat back down and looked at each one of his friends. "That was wierd. Oh
well, he wants a drink?" Shadow looked across the table and glared at Nomar. Cloud translated the statement on his mind, "No more questions." -----------------------

(In case you couldn't tell, ALL of this has been rip-offs so far.  )
Suddenly, a stranger in dark robes (navy, black, brown, it doesn't really matter what color) walked up to the trio. They couldn't see his face, but they knew it was a he from his voice. At least, they hoped he was a he. Or something.
"Have you boys ever been on a time machine?" he croaked.
Each soldier turned to the one next to him and shrugged.
"No," Cloud replied.
The stranger handed them an odd looking machine (I don't remember what it looked like, it was just odd) and then vanished in a flash ... or a poof of smoke ... or one of those cool fade out tehniques.
"What the **** is this?" Nomar said, sniffing it to see if it smelled like food.
"No clue," Shadow responded.
Cloud leaned over and read the instrument's panel. "It says: Milky Way, Sol System, Gaia, Boston, 2002," he stated.
"What does that mean?" Nomar questioned, obviously dumbfounded.
"Press that red flashy button there," Shadow observed, "and maybe we'll find out."
Nomar did just that and all of a sudden the three troopers were transported into the middle of Fenway Park in the middle or a Red Sox game.
Only there was one problem - now there were TWO Nomars at the same place and point in time!!!

And then they all realized that Nomar (now both of them I guess) had been killed in the Rebel compound by overwhelming numbers of rebels, and had been splattered all over the wall, where his body hung so plastered that it could not be moved from it's place.
