Hi...

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Bacredi, I will be your trainer whilst you are here at the academy. We will be helping you throughBasic Training, commonly called Flight School, FS, BT, or the Academy. Flight School is composed into three chapters, Chapter One: Character Development, Chapter Two: Pilot Procedure, Chapter Three: The Squadron, and last but not least, the Aviator's Exam. Once you have finished and been passed on these Chapters we will place you into one of the active squadrons.

Lets start with the basics - Chapter One. You need to make a biography for your character (Good examples are Jegora Fal's and Ibram Tyrol's Biographies.) Once you have finished your biography you may post it on this topic. But remember - your biography is only a rough sketch of your character and should be expanded when given the time. If you have any questions, catch any member of the staff around IRC or send them a PM (Personal Message).

Now, if you have any questions, or if you want to meet any of our other members you can hop onto IRC (Internet Relay Chat), or you may send any member of the staff a PM (Personal Message). There are many other communications methods for reaching the staff in that page as well. Once you have finished Basic Training, you shall be placed into one of the active squadrons.

Name: Ruwacca “Ruwe”
Age: 241
Gender: Male
Species: Wookiee
Homeplanet: Kashyyyk

Physical Description: Ruwacca is average size for a Wookiee, which means he stands about 7 and a half feet tall, which is huge for a snubfighter pilot. Ruwacca’s hair differs a little more than usual Wookiees as it is jet black with brown highlights rather than being dark brown with black streaks. Ruwacca’s eyes are a lighter shade of green, set deep under his brow making him more ferocious looking than most. His snout was average size but his bottom jaw did remain always open slightly as his top and bottom canines were longer than they should have been. Two outstanding features that Ruwacca bears is - a white streak of hair that stretches from between his eyes to the back of his skull; and a large patch of hair missing on his left shoulder from a fight with a group of four katarn.

Emotional Description: Ruwacca however fierce looking he is, is really quite friendly and knowledgeable. Like most Wookiees he is extremely loyal and calm. With looking so fierce most people avoid him so he doesn’t get much chance to talk and therefore he is actually shy when he is involved in a conversation. Ruwacca speaks with a drawl to his voice making the words sound less harsh to others. This also lets others understand what he is saying. With being a Wookiee though he does get a bit temper mental when he doesn’t get certain things his way. Ruwacca is also very competitive with sports and the like.

Bio: Ruwacca grew up in a village called Prakkiia, which was very close to the Shadowlands as it was only a few hundred feet from the dark depths itself. Being so close to the Shadowlands the village was prone to katarn attacks, and other creatures of the black abyss. It was amongst this small village that Ruwacca became a skilled fighter, and a guardian of the village. Growing up he was often known to travel into the Shadowlands to take some of the battle to the creatures down in the inky blackness.

During one of his excursions down in the depths he encountered a katarn hunting party of four. He had taken on such odds before alone because he had no one to save. This time however a group of Rebels had taken refuge down in the depths and assumed that Ruwacca would need help. During the battle one of the Rebels was about to be killed until Ruwacca stepped in the way and took a bite to the shoulder. After the battle was done Ruwacca fainted from the blood loss in his shoulder. Waking amongst the Rebel camp he was on a stretcher with medics tending to his shoulder. Feeling greatly offended that such a war wound was to be fixed he rampaged through the camp destroying most of it. Leaving quickly through the trees he made it back to his village. Still disgusted at the way the Rebels had dishonored him he remained hating them. When the Empire came to the planet in search of the Rebels, Ruwacca told them of the Rebels amongst the depths of the Shadowlands.

Leading the Empire down into the Shadowlands they quickly found the Rebel base. After which a short battle followed and Rebels were taken prisoner along with a few damaged starfighters. For his helpfulness of finding the Rebels the Empire gave him and his village amnesty of becoming slaves. As well as the amnesty they let Ruwacca keep one of the starfighters. Fixing the craft easily, Ruwacca often ventured off planet to practice his maneuvering in an asteroid belt. A few years passed with him practicing his starfighter skills. When the Emperor died, the Imperial Navy set up recruitment offices everywhere. Remembering the honor his village had gained from the first encounter with Rebels, he felt that if he was to help kill more Rebels his village would gain more honor. With this in mind Ruwacca signed up for the Imperial Navy at the only recruitment office on his planet. Within days after signing up, Ruwacca was reporting in for basic training.

Ruwacca’s report: January 20th, 2009

Activity: This week I have been on and off working on the creation of my character “Ruwacca”. It has taken some time as to I could not think up a reasonable reason why a Wookiee would join with the Imperial Navy. I also have been reading the new posts on Drac’s thread and my own. I have also replied to these posts as well.

Upcoming Plans: Next week I hope to have started up in my new squadron. I should be placed in the same one as Drac. I think he is in the Nazgul squadron. I also intend to start storyline posting next week.

Questions/Suggestions: A few of the moves in the Flight Training manual do not have pictures. They could perhaps do with some pictures for some with not so good of a visual imagination.
