Physical Description: Drac stands about six feet tall, rather large for a snubfighter pilot. His skin is an unusual color for a Mon Cal, a dark mottled blue that verges on black. Combined with his orange eyes, this makes for a striking appearance. On the flip side, his strange coloring has led to a few comments about others not being able to tell where the uniform ends and the soldier begins. That's fine by him. His only other distinguishing feature is a white birthmark that runs in a slash from his right jaw, up through his eyelid, and ends at the top of his head.

Emotional Description: Like most of his race, Drac is pretty even tempered. Most insults won’t bother him, but if someone he’s defending is attacked he’s prone to targeted bursts of rage. In normal conversation he’s amiable and doesn’t mind adding his opinion. There are two aspects that really characterize Drac. The first is his loyalty which, once won, is absolute. The second is his moral compass, a very strong knowledge of what’s right and wrong that is one of the few things that can override his loyalty. He has an odd sense of humor, and often laughs along with his heckler if someone should make a comment about his skin color.

History: Drac was born and raised in a pretty average Mon Calamari family on Dac. His father worked in the local government’s offices and his mother attended their home. Drac was expected to follow in his father’s footsteps and, with his intelligence, to go even further. But this was not to be, as the Rebellion began stirring up strife throughout the galaxy during his teen years.

Drac became more and more disapproving of the chaos the Rebellion’s attacks caused all over the galaxy, and eventually decided to do something about it. Since he was no fan of running around on various, mostly dry, worlds, he decided to learn to fly. As a pilot he could do more simply because he wouldn’t be constantly gasping for breath. Fortunately for him, several Mon Cals were gaining fame at the time due to their strategic genius. Drac was able to find a teacher in Chama, an old pilot who still owned his Republic-era snubfighter. For several years Drac trained every chance he could get in his friend’s old Eta-2, awaiting the day he could finally join the Navy.

He got his chance after the Emperor’s death. With the Imperial Navy looking for good pilots wherever it could find them, there was room for a Mon Cal to join the cause. Signing up in the nearest Imperial recruitment office, Drac said his goodbyes and soon found himself reporting in for his training.

Offensive Split:

When flying with a wingman against an incoming pair of enemies, I would pull away or drop thrust, allowing my partner to separate from me. Since my wingman is closer, and to prevent him from dropping in on their tails, any incoming fighters would concentrate on him first. In return he would go evasive while I push my thrust back up or reverse my split-off maneuver to come in on our opponents' tails, ready to fire.

(This maneuver also leads directly into a Sandwhich.)

High Speed Yo-Yo:

Suppose I kill one of the two enemies with the offensive split, the other will probably try to disengage or come around on me rather than let me stay on his tail. As he breaks, I would pull up to tighten my turn and bleed off speed. Then, using the altitude I gained, I would turn my nose back down and use the dive to close again, tightening my turn again if neccessary. This would put me in range and on his tail, in a position for the kill.

It's mentioned in I, Jedi. A Reverse Throttle Hop is basically a High Speed Yo-Yo, but includes more manipulation of the throttle. Namely, depending on the snubfighter used, you either kill thrust or reverse it as you climb. This will bleed you speed off as much as twice as fast as a Yo-Yo. Re-engage the forward thrust and dive to come down on your opponent.

Offensively, it'll compensate for a hard break or other speed-bleeding maneuver from your target, and improves the odds of not overshooting your opponent in a low-speed fight. Defensively it can be used to force your attacker to overshoot (with better success odds than a Yo-Yo), putting you on his tail. The biggest risk associated with it is if your opponent follows you into the climb, as he'll get at least a passing shot at your stern.

TIE Interceptors, with their variable engine deflectors to micromanage orientation, could use this very effectively through the kill-thrust version.

even though the Roster doesn't show it, you are currently in "Sting Squadron" (AKA Training squadron)

Fleet 1 (1Flt in sig) and the ship would be the "mSSD Atrus" (flag ship not ship you fly is needed)

Don't worry about fixing your ID Line until you have been placed in a squadron. It's not to big of a deal yet :P

Right now there isn't much of a possibility for that kind of writing, however, we are trying to get a course set-up within VENA for that style.

Due to his exemplary work during Basic Training, as well as finishing up in a matter of a few days, I am hereby awarding the Star of the Academy (worn as [SoA]) to Drac.

Award to those members who show exemplary proficiency in making themselves pilots of the Vast Empire Navy. To become eligible for this award, the recruit must complete their Basic Training in under three days. From there, if they manage to pass their Aviator's Exam (AE) with distinction within the first week of being assigned to a squadron as well as shown other attributes that are beyond exemplary, they will be given the 'Star of the Academy' at the earliest convenience. If nothing else, this award serves as a sign to superiors that they have a worthy individual on their hands that is well on his way to the next rank. (Special acknowledgment goes to Jaden and Arturus for inspiring and creating this award.)

well i passed my exam with.........100% ....so now we both is the same rank :P...but yeh im now Nazgul 6 so we're both in the same squadron just not the same flight...oh well...anywho talk at yah lata fellow Alien :P
