Greetings
So, as you know, we need to find a new Squad Leader for RAIDERS due to the absences of those appointed to be in charge (through no fault of their own). It is unknown when they will return and therefore we are forced to try and find a new Squad Leader for the squad. The squad has some good people in it...it just needs a new leader. So..
In order to apply you must have:
*Been serving in active duty for 3 months
*The ability to act professionally, think creatively, and follow orders
*Strong leadership capabilities
Responsibilities for the job will be:
*Collecting each squad member's report and create your own report to be posted each week on the Commander's Comnet.
*Manage day to day squad problems that will arise
*During down time create and manage (this includes posting on) storylines that will allow your squad members to be active
*Motivate your squad to be active (and stick up for them when needed)
*Create and manage a webpage and wiki page to represent your squad (optional but it would help)
*Keep your squad members in line at all times
*Be available on IRC to aid troopers with issues they may have with stories or other such things.
*Keep active tabs on members and do AWOL checks when needed or told to do so.
*Above all lead by example...a squad led by an inactive SL cant really be active itself now can it?
To apply:
Send me a comnet pm or e-mail saying why you are the best candidate for the job and not someone else. It would also help if you could give a list of accomplishments that you have had since you started here in the Army and any special skills you might have that would aid in the position of Squad Leader.
An informal interview might take place as well, so be prepared for that. They will be conducted on IRC, should I decide to utilize them. In addition, I will be looking to your superiors (direct and indirect) for recommendations on you so no Letters of Recommendation are needed -- just have your direct superiors prepared to give an opinion on you.
Applications are open right now, so send them in quick! Thank you and good luck to you all!
