Alright, it's been a while, but there is a reason for the delay in these promotions/awards.  First off, I wanted to make sure everyone got what they deserved, and attempted to make sure no one was overlooked.  Secondary, I've a little hectic time on my end right now and unfortunately that steals some of my VE time.

Let's start shall we?

I'm going to do the story awards before individual ones.

So first off is Episode I: A very close one.  Winning by half a point is Jester, with Paladin close behind.  Due to the closeness of these two, and their distance from the rest of the squads, both shall receive an equipment upgrade.  Jester will of course receive a larger one than Paladin.

Episode Two, Wildcard Platoon comes out on top, and earns an equipment upgrade (the platoon, not the squads underneath).

Episode Three, Raiders comes out on top and will receive an equipment upgrade.  Honorable mention to Wraith for this phase, they managed second place, 3.25 points shy of Raiders.

Now... Graphics, Helena and Dante both tie (and are the only submitters).  They will each receive 150,000 ICs and a medal to be declared at a later time (reason for this will be explained at the end of the post).

Specialty Stories, my apologies for not having time to grade these, and I will get around to them as soon as possible.  However, if you posted at least one spec story between September 21, 2008 and September 26, 2008 you have a “Skip One Specialty Story Free” card.

I also want to let people know that there will be some changes in how we award promotions, but it should help you earn them, rather than slow you down if you can maintain good activity.  Also, we might generate new medals to cover areas that we don't have awards for (such as the wiki and graphics).
