Hello there, Crewman.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Tech Officer Blue-Leader, I, along with the Operation Team (C-3PX2, Ibram Tyrol, and StOrMz) will be guiding you through your training. We will be helping you through Basic Training, commonly calledFlight School, FS, BT, or the Academy]. Flight School is composed into three chapters, Chapter One: Character Development, Chapter Two: Pilot Procedure, Chapter Three: The Squadron, and last but not least, the Aviator's Exam. Once you have finished and been passed on these Chapters we will place you into one of the active squadrons.

Lets start with the basics - Chapter One. You need to make a biography for your character (Good examples are Jegora Fal's and Ibram Tyrol's Biographies.) Once you have finished your biography you may post it on this topic. But remember - your biography is only a rough sketch of your character and should be expanded when given the time. If you have any questions, catch any member of the staff around IRC or send them a PM (Personal Message).

Now, if you have any questions, or if you want to meet any of our other members you can hop onto IRC (Internet Relay Chat), or you may send any member of the staff a PM (Personal Message). There are many other communications methods for reaching the staff in that page as well. Once you have finished Basic Training, you shall be placed into one of the active squadrons.

Have a good one!

* Name: Kyle Thorn
    * Age: 21
    * Gender: Male
    * Species: Human
    * Homeplanet: Thyferra

Physical Appearance:
          Kyle is what you would call a modern day marine. His brown hair is shaved, his face is clean. He has emerald green eyes, and a body in tip-top condition. This appearance is probably a side-effect of his father, who took it upon himself to join the military after planting a seed.

          He wears his flight suit everywhere, except when preparing for sleep in the barracks, where he strips to his boxers before bed. He likes to keep his blaster charged and ready to fire and his supplies wrapped around his belt. He's what you call a blend-in kind of soldier.

Personality:
      Kyle is not the kind of person to goof around. All business, and always sure. He doesn't not second guess himself or his superiors. His peers, however, he loves to challenge their ideas. If you said 'Hi', You'd get a hi right back and then a "What do you want?" or something similar. Theirs no such thing as just hanging out, or hanging out for no reason. People have important things on their agenda, always.

          He prefers to keep to himself most of the time -- sure, he'll go through the general formalities, say hello, please and thank you, introduce himself on initial meeting and won't beat around the bush about what he does or what he wants to do. But you talk to him, not him talk to you.

          He also has a low sense of pity, compassion or forgiveness. Grudges go deep with this man, and he doesn't take kindly to weakness. He believes that if you try hard enough, anyone and any thing can be changed for better or for worse. In school on Thyferra, this did not help him get along with others. He also doesn't take kindly to self pity cases, or people who feel like they've got it bad and their the only ones with problems.

History:
          A military brat at heart, He comes from a family of soldiers, dating back to the Thyferran militia and neighborhood watch. When a organized military system came, his dad jumped after it like a cat with catnip. He joined up, and kept in touch with his wife all through flight school and the fight with Rebel Scum.

            It rubbed off on his Son, possibly because he called almost everyday to make sure his son was working, either with helping the town or by bettering his physical condition, or his mental abilities being put to the test. He wanted to groom his son into being the ultimate soldier, if not the ultimate man.

          By the time Kyle was 9, his father was a Vice Admiral in the Imperial fleet and combating rebels left and right, and even had the fortunate of escorting the 501st and Vader himself to a battle, but not on the ship. The Executor was astounding, a once and a life time happening to see.

            When Kyle was 12, his father was expressing incredible amounts of pressure on him to join up with the navy when he was old enough. He was serving on the Deathstar when it exploded, and when Kyle heard the news, it was all it took to convince him.

            At 15, he ran into a rebel when taking a trip with family to Onderon. They'd come to see the beast riders and their beasts perform at a festival. The Rebel was planting a bomb at an imperial barracks. Kyle shot him dead in his tracks, and earned a civilian service medal.

            When he was 21, after securing his mother with a relative, Kyle enlisted in the flight academy, ready to follow in his fallen fathers footsteps.

Flight Vs

Using team work is essential and required to survive in the field. It doesn't matter how good you are, you're nothing without someone covering your arse. Outnumbering someone is even better than that.

In a Flight versus one situation you should close in on the target, box him in and then cut him off. The Tactic i would suggest here it have one tail him and two on a higher plane firing  where he could go, not where he might be going. If theirs a fourth man I'd have him try and sneak up on him if the guy in the center couldn't take him down. Maybe even missle lock him.

One vs Many

In a one versus many situation, you're probably going to die, but you shouldn't give up just yet. You should keep fighting, and hope for relief. Three possible situations can happen. One, you're on the offensive, and have the advantage of being behind them. Two, you're unlucky and they got behind you, and three, you're charging them head on and hoping that you survive.

Assuming that i was the unlucky, or maybe lucky, punk that got stuck alive against many, I'd anaylize the situation. If they were flying at me i'd take advantage, try and chase them down. I'd even try and trick them into shooting each other.

If i'm playing defense, i'd do barrel rolls, loops, and even an S to shake him off me. The longer he's behind me the quicker I'll die, and that's what I'm trying to avoid doing.
