OOC:
relax, arnaut, it tends to happen, I mean it did back in our last comp with Blackjack. I was just wanting to ask you, Arnaut, can I have that Vader helmet, please?

BTW, 2nd page, nice!

Jenny looked at Arnaut, feeling only pity for him because his voice didn't sound okay, he was glancing at his Vader helmet and feeling proud of being on the wreck of the original Death Star. She always admired Luke Skywalker's courage to battle Vader on the Death Star from the stories that her father told her, originally a trooper stationed there who escaped with the stories of seeing the two battle. She didn't know if it was true that he had actually seen it or not, but what she wanted to see most was the spot where they had dueled and Vader had told Luke he was his father, a momentous moment for the two, especially since Vader had held this secret since Luke was born. Jenny chuckled at Vader's ability to turn against the emperor, his weakness for him to die with the new Death Star, Luke escaping. Wow, being able to walk through history is quite the honor, I better let Leia see this, she'll love it! Jenny thought as she remembered her friend's wish to do so and pressed in her comlink to link in video, recording what has already appeared in her helmet visor and continuing to do so now, for Leia had created that tech and introduced it into her helmet after several successful trials with other helmets like hers, she had thanked her for it and was amazed at what technology can do nowadays.

"Kand, don't feel so bad, Arnaut's going through his own phase right now, probably complaining about not getting to fight with that grip on his weapons." Jenny told Kand as quietly as she could as she walked to the front with him, pistol in left hand and vibroblade in right.

"I kind of can tell by that last snap he made. It's just the nerves working on him, relax, we shouldn't bother him now." Jenny nodded at his reply and continued with him and Helena in front, until shadows appeared from around the next corridor while her pistol raised in that direction with the rest of the squad's rifles, light illuminating their movement with them suddenly disappeared as the lights were turned off in this area.

"Oh, those damn droids, they're really smart when it comes to sneaking up on us." Jenny commented on the sudden blackout in the area, and they were back to the flashlights, glowtorches, and night vision again as Jenny turned on her helmet flashlight and was thrown a bottle of ale at her chestplate, not even doing any damage to the Clone armor.

"What the hell is this thing thinking, that the bottle of ale is going to break her chestplate, exposing the clothes or skin underneath to be boiled?" Koll remarked as a sort of a joke or something, but nobody found it amusing as they knew the droids were back. As if proving that the droids were back, they were suddenly attacked again by the service droids, this time with huge packs of rations and, with the help of at least three of them, a barrel of drinks marked alcohol was thrown at them also, adding that astromechs were firing at their fleeing footsteps.

Jenny was in agreement as she ran to cover, letting off shots at the nearest astromech that she could see, for those guys couldn't either and moved ahead to hear more footsteps, letting the platoon to take a lot of shots at them.

"Heh, classic, another trap waiting around the corner or right behind---"Helena was slammed in the face by a assassin droid that sneaked up on her, now having some sort of huge glove on one of his arms, providing extra strength for its puny hand size.

More appeared with its arrival as the platoon was more alerted and fired on them, not knowing that these things were quite hard to kill with them in the dark and almost unseen unless they came up right to you. Jenny had trouble with one which was playing with her, then it stabbed her in her right shoulder and got a return with a quick slash down its middle, cutting the darn thing in half. Damn droids, they could sneak up on you and it wouldn't feel like such a rerun if they were scary enough, I just wish Leia was here, she'd have loved to battle the droids that was supposedly guarding Vader himself, now she gets a front-row seat to it, I hope she received the signal I sent her. Jenny thought, turning to help Iron Horse and Raiders with the assassin droids, for they hadn't face one before and the battle wasn't far from where the Quest-object is, according to Spilfer, who was being guarded excellently by Wraith and Doc, not wanting the help, but quite needing it, for his tint of a blaster pistol didn't even make the assassin droids wink. I wish our buddy salvager gets quite the experience to tell his mates when he gets back about how he faced probably the one and only droids who had guarded Vader.

====Before Arnaut’s post=====

“It’s like a dream come true, land!” Instantly without even thinking RK dropped to his knees, threw off his helmet and started kissing the ground. Fake tears streaming from his eyes. He never thought he would be so happy to see the shuttle once again.

“Oh, knock it off RK” Riq scolded, grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him up slightly.

It was a relief though to be off the god-forsaken hunk of metal, even if it was for a few moments, but those few moments was just what everyone needed, an escape from the demented robots. RK of course just wanted to get a nice shower, and forget about the whole ordeal, but he would just have to settle for getting patched up.

“So where do we get these thing’s refilled?” RK asked, his voice on the verge of crying.

“This way.” Kand said. Leading RK and a few others to the refill stations.

RK hooked up to one of the three and let the air flow into his suit’s tank. After the tank was done filling RK headed towards the docking port. It was tough to make his body move, it was like a magnet, repelling away from the Death Star fragment. It was a nightmare down there, something not even the imaginative mind would conceive, and it was as if someone was telling them to stay off of the thing.

“Do we really have to go back down there?” Asked RK, hoping, but knowing he wouldn’t get the answer he wanted.

“Sadly, yes.” Kand said.

RK just let a long sigh, placed his helmet back on his head, and took one look down, then jumped. He could feel the gravity pulling him back down into the darkness.

====The present(after Jenny’s post)=====

“Who was the Di’kut who designed this thing?” asked RK, knowing full well he would get some critiscim for it.

“First of the person who designed this wasn’t a moron, and second off this thing was the most destructive weapon known to man, and it was once ours.” Arnaut snapped.

It wasn’t worth replying to, he would probably just get a good beating if he did. It wasn’t like he wasn’t honored to be stepping on the same metal flooring that Darth Vader and the emperor had walked on, but he was getting tired of droids, and walking through twisted warped metal hallways. A guy can only take so much He thought glumly.

The walk was becoming more and more irritating; everything was just the same, Metal, metal and more metal. RK just wished he could get this over with, what was so important on this thing? Other than the fact it was a fragment of the Death star. It was also annoying him that he felt like something was following him, but he couldn’t see anything when he turned around. Maybe your just worried

The farther they walked though, the stronger the feeling became, and the more he kept turning around. Soon it was all consuming. “ummm, I don’t think we are…. GAH!!!” RK felt himself starting to go backwards, something was pulling at his legs, trying to bring him down and drag him into the darkness.  He tried to keep his balance, but it was becoming difficult.

He tried firing in the direction of the intruder, but it wouldn’t let go. He continued to fight it, but it was becoming difficult. He wasn’t alone though, Koll was also being pulled, but having more luck with fighting of then RK was.

“Get off!” RK said, knowing it wasn’t heard, but still he had said it.

“RK stand still!” Jenny commanded, irritation in her voice. “There.”

“What was that thing?” RK said, still trembling.

“Not sure, it was definitely a robot, but it didn’t have any weapons, my guess is it could rip a normal human apart., but they obviously are easy to defeat” Riq said.

“Wonderful, a true flesh eating robot.”

"Killer robots, dianogas, and flesh eaters, oh my."

RK turned directly towards Dante, his expression invisible beneath the helmet, but his body language suggested that he was more than a little annoyed with him.

"If you have a suggestion, make it."

Dante was about to retort when something heavy fell from the ceiling and knocked him to the ground. It then leapt to its feet, limbs flailing, and he realised that it was another assassin droid.

"How many of these damn things are there?" Famus yelled as he fired on the machine.

"Shut up and shoot!" someone else replied as the platoon scrapped the droids that that tried to ambush them. The last droid's head made a popping sound as its positronic components melted and ran out of the casing, and there was a moment of quiet.

Then the whirring started. Dozens of decript droids strode into view from both sides and immedietely opened fire. In such cramped quartes, their weapons could hardly miss, and several troopers were thrown back by blaster fire. However, Zero-G armour was more than capable of taking a few hits, especially from underpowered-hand blasters, and the paltoon soon mounted a coordinated defense.

Forming a ring with the Squib at its centre, the troopers emptied clip after clip into the droids. The slagged machines began to pile up, forming an impromptu barricade and adding to the machine casualties as they clambered over their fallen comrades. Dante held down the trigger, enjoying the feeling of power as the rifle throbbed and casings flew in every direction.

One combat unit had managed to scavenge a grenade, and had just primed it when it was dropped by a slugthrower round to its sensor array. The activated explosive fell, bounced twice, then vaporized a squad of mechanicals and the corridor's supports. The ceiling crashed down, scattering dust over the scene and cutting off the possibility of the squads' retreating. Undaunted by the loss, the droids continued the attack.

One unit had taken multiple hits and was still staggering towards the Wildcards' when almost a dozen blaster bolts blew away its torso. Their erstwhile guide, meanwhile, was crouching in the middle of a group of bodyguards with its excuse for a blaster held over its head and shouting what it evidently believed was encouragement.

"White-armours, maxi-good! Kill!"

Dante repressed the urge to violently dismember the damn thing for what had to be the dozenth time, and instead vented his anger on the waves of droids. One especially lucky unit realised that walking and firing wouldn't work, and had almost crawled to the perimeter when someone scrapped it.

Even more blast doors hissed open, but the low-quality droids that Dante had expected to attack were non-existent. Instead, a group of sleek, if slightly dusty, hummanoid figures strode out.

They were taller than the assassins Wildcard had faced so far, and they held curved vibroswords in each of their four arms. The troopers opened fire, but the robots easily avoided the volley. Then they charged, all four swords humming and slashing at the air.

Jenny was a little scared about the upcoming battle with the humanoid droids, for she was kind of itching from her wounds that were nearing to be healed and running out of ammo on her blaster pistol as the last weaker droids fell down, emitting burn marks from where their parts were blasted out and being driven away in a heap by the humanoid droids like the Bril, their strength like Boc as they tossed aside their lesser forms, coming at the platoon with vibroblade gripped tightly in hand, ready to kill, and a whole lot of attitude burning in their furious machines as if they were angry. They aren't humans, Jenny, they don't have emotions, they just do what they're supposed to do, and you have to stop them for the squad. Her mother reminded her in her memory for a once training with these things as she nodded to it, holstering her pistol and gripping her vibroblade with some nerves on both her hands as two hands on her shoulder calmed her, which belonged to Helena and Kand, right beside her with their vibroblade and electrostaff in the other hand, held tight and calmly, ready to kill also.

"Arni'soyacho, which means thank you very much. Wish you two peace with the Olma'nabsilai, the goddess who carried the weight of the world , which is derived from the name of the Jedi master who turned down a seat in the Jedi council to find the order. The information may be a bit excessive, but it makes a person more knowledgeable, for as a man once said, knowledge is power." Jenny said, peeking at them from the corner of both their eyes beside her, as her nerves were soon gone and two humanoid droids upon them, with Riqimo and RK coming to help.

"Why, Arni'soyacho to you too, Jenny, and the same goes for you." Replyed both of them confusingly, finding it hard to pronouce the word right.

Jenny started battle with one humanoid droid, defending Helena as much as she could from damage as the droid targeted her weaker fighting skills, for by battling it, Jenny could tell that its program had excellent adaption of the assassin droid stealth attacks and also some great melee weapons attacking and defending program. She took that knowledge and tried to defend Helena from another slash move made to her neck, getting her left shoulder caught into the other humanoid droids' blade with her distraction on protecting Helena. It didn't help ease the pain in her left shoulder, but a pat on Helena's back and she swept the blade so that it lifted Jenny's and the droids, and as if in slow motion, Jenny struck out at the droid with her vibroblade on its "heart", ignoring the pain as more of its blade went into her shoulder as she struck through the heart, and Kand and Helena did the same at the other, with the hilt of her vibroblade absorbing the shock from Kand's electrostaff and being pulled out by Helena's hand, the droid destroyed by them shaking from the sudden shower of volts of electricity and circuity damage from Helena's blade stab, ending up in a wild explosion of parts and insides as the one destroyed by Jenny was still being totalized by Arnaut with his knives, making sure the thing was dead.

"Arnaut, it's alright, the thing's dead, it won't attack you again, now ,come on, I suggest we help out the other guys with the humanoids." Jenny suggested, letting Arnaut mend her left shoulder as she thought, coming upon the other two humanoids attacking the rest of the platoon protecting Spilfer when she heard the Squib yell, "Maxi-good, bad droid get a goody-night, Maxi-good, white lady, Maxi-good!" I hope he wasn't refering to me, still like Leia said, when they greet you with good gesture, return it with good favor.

No Vader helmet taking sorry chaps

After suffering through the previous encounters, Wildcard Platoon and Spilfer finally reached their goal.  The chamber's high, fluted walls and observation ports (empty now of their transparisteel) were bathed with a greenish glow.  Of the entire wreck that Riqimo had been through, this area was clearly in the best shape of what was once the Death Star, or a piece of it anyways.  Two massive, dangerous-looking powerplants of patently Ugorian design were obviously added after the space station's demise to power the object they were seeking.  All of the power was being drawn into a squat bulbous device about the size of a small escape pod.  Riqimo raised his hand for the platoon to stop as he scanned the device for any clues of what it may be, and if it posed any threat.

A silver mechanism was spinning rapidly at high speed within the transliucent black case, but it was difficult to see what it looked like exaclty at rest... but in operation it almost had the illusionof a blackhole.  Riqimo stepped forward, but found that each step he took towards the object became harder to make, almost as if he was going uphill, the slope becoming steeper as he approached.

Spilfer jumped up and down, pointing, “There big juju! Grab 'em and get leaving before some pushy Ug show up.  He ask plenty awkward questions, you bet!”

“The amount of power being drawn into this must be making the gravity field that we're experiencing on this station...” Riqimo muttered as he attempted to get carefully closer with the sensation he was wearing iron boots.  Just as the commander was halfway, Spilfer's patience was worn thin by excitement and the Squib ran forward quickly, plucking a long tool-like object from his collection of junk and swung it hard against the pod's outer casing.  Riqimo quickly rushed to cover behind a panel in reaction to the clang, the rest of the platoon following suit immedidiately.

As the high-pitched whining reached an 'explosion-immenent' crescendo, the guilt-ridden Squib closed his eyes and picked a knob at random.  There was a tense moment as everyone watched him turn the knob, pulled it off and calmly pocketed it with the rest of his junk before running for cover.  Riq slapped his helmet in disbelief, but was shocked when a friendly-looking green light winked on inside the device.  Amazingly the little guy seemed to save the day, despite causing the problem.

Up close, Riqimo marveled at the 'brute-force' method of Imperial scientific development; overcoming the limits of current technology by overkill rather than by breakthrough.  The gravity-projector was essentially a tractor beam modified with a number of oversized, overworked components.

Just as Riq was about to knock lightly against the device, all gravity that existed had shut off, causing the Stormtroopers to cling to the nearest surface to avoid being caught adrift.  Riqimo had the opportuniuty to grab a handle bar on the pod for support and half-jokingly asked over the comm, “How many Stormtroopers does it take to move a gravity-well projector?”

The answer was soon obvious when the pod started drifting with Riq attached.  It seemed to have no gravity of its own anymore, but it certainly had all of its mass when it collided with the ceiling of the chamber.

“I think we can roll this down to the ship with four folks trying to keep its movement in order...” Riq pushed against the ceiling with all the strength in his legs and brought the device back to the floor.  “It's a little difficult and tiring.. so shifts of ten minutes and a new set of folks rotate it.”

Just as Riqimo was about to assign the first four troopers to move, their pilot (still back on the ship) opened up a comm channel, “Uh, I don't know what you guys are up to, but there's a lot of garbage out here...”

“Yes, I know,” Riq cut him off, “Quite fascinating that we find garbage in a junk yard.”

“Well... it was so orderly before... but not it's flying everywhere, colliding and moving in all directions... including towards us.”

Riqimo suddenly realized the reason the Ugors had the device powered up and why the droids never salvaged it for power... it held the garbage in a clean tidy orbit... but now... no gravity, it was a free-for-all, every piece of junk for itself.

“And we seem to have Ugors landing on the station... you might want to get out of here quickly.  They haven't spotted the ship yet, but its a matter of time.”

Without wasting another instant, Riqimo waved the four nearest troopers over to push as he grabbed Spilfer who was floating in mid air trying to get a shiny soda can floating just out of his reach.  “We're heading back, double time.  If we engage any enemy forces, we engage them on the move.  Full scale retreat!”

Retreat, the word was almost foreign to Stormtroopers, and whenever it was used, they knew full well the situation was dangerous.  With a hustle that Riqimo had never seen before, everyone was working together to get their prize out as quickly as possible.

OOC:

Kanderin yanked his hand quickly away from the doorway, shortly before one of the top edges of the chamber collided with it. Snipes, Gio and Arnaut were still arguing amongst themselves on how they were gong to maneuver it out of the doorway, which left the ASL's and any other troopers that could push their way into the bundle utilising a push and hope scenario. Kanderin didn't even know whether the mahcine could crush his hand if it collided with it, but he wasn't about to find out. He was a solider, not a scientist, and the lack of gravity was really screwing him up. He always assumed your stomach would feel a lack of gravity, that you'd want to throw up or something similar, but there was nothing in the air, to the point where he'd bounced his head off of the roof a number of times already, simply forgetting his feet weren't planted solid.

"Got it!" Kanderin glanced around at Helena, celebrating her defeat of the gravity machine. It was difficult however to tell whether she was delivering a victory dance or if she'd just lost all control of her body. Whichever it was, it was pretty humorous.

The hallway, being a wider area than the doorway, proved far easier to push the gravity well through. In fact, one of the troops could just gently push it and it would gently float down away from them, occasionally bumping into a loose pair of boots, or a hanger and spinning rapidly out of control. It would then crash into the far wall, and someone simply had to push it again.

"How far till we get back to our ship again?" Kanderin shouted back, grinning to himself as he watched one of the spider bots crash into the gravity well and float off hopelessly into one of the rooms.

"Not long, about twenty minutes if we keep up the pace. And that means stop playing with the lack of gravity" Doc responded.

"But it's fun, it's like the coolest physics lesson ever"

"You'd think you've never been in this sort of situation before Kand" Snipes laughed, patting Kand on the shoulder as he swam past him.

"Actually I haven't, Wraith have always been ground based ops, really"

"Well enjoy it while you can, after a while this sort of situation just gets on your nerves"

The lack of gravity was making Helena unstable, even with her amazing balance. She found herself slowly tilting to the left, then rapidly to the right. After some time of serious thinking, she found her balance of light movement. The less she moved, the less likely she was going to drift off with little control of her body.

“Hey, Kand!” She spoke up, waving her hand in the air, doing a front somersault, almost bashing her head into the wall.

“You be careful, we don’t want to have to pay for any damages, mind you, that does look fun” He laughed, attempting one himself, only to find him self hitting Snipes in the face.

“Watch it will you! When I said enjoy it while you can, I didn’t mean for you to go all violent on me”

Both Helena and Kand giggled their way across the room, pushing vigorously hard from the floor to see who could jump and hover the highest.

Helena was finding it hard to squirm her way through the doorway into the next room; the amount of floating bodies just humoured her. The way people were bumping into things and almost trying to swim made her giggle. Even though she had only experienced no gravity for a short period of time, she was starting to get used to it. She no longer felt slightly ill; she was becoming a custom to it.

”Maybe I could get used to this all the time” She smiled to herself briefly before reminding herself how much pain she was in.

Kand seemed to be leading the way into a smaller room so she began to follow.

“We’ll get back safely won’t we Kand?” She sighed, placing her hand lightly over her wound applying a little pressure, hoping to relief some of the pain she was experiencing.

“Of course we will we’re all wildcard troopers” He laughed lightly, before smiling, hoping he could reassure her.

Jenny felt quite light, floating in the air and being free to do whatever she wants in this gravity-less vaccum, while helping the platoon push the Quest-object once in a while. Wow, this is quite fun, I hope Leia's getting this, oh, my god, this is my first time in space and I'm loving it! Ahh.... She thought plaintly as she looked at the bodies and objects floating around, making their way into space, wondering what a passerby on a ship would say to this bizzare sight of Paradise star system becoming nothing with all the junk flying away.

"Oh, I hope the Ugors don't come at all, this gravity projector is hard to maneuver sometimes in the doorways with the pressure pushing it out or the walls coming down on us. " Arnaut said, somewhat with a sort of complainng tone, as though trying to lighten the tense mood of the rest of the platoon guarding the thing from damage.

"Well, unfortunately, to the wishes of Spilfer, we'll have to give it to the Squibs, even if we have a damn contract with those idiots. Personally, I don't like those Ugors anyways, they're not very nice when it comes to invitations, looking like they want us dead or something, their invitations fees are sure expensive, and they take away all the great things you can say about a scavenger. I mean they worship this piece of junk and make themselves very extravangant with their 'temple' and ship decorating, plus they'd probably do anything to defeat the Squibs." Jenny said, more hatred boiling up in her for the Ugors rather than the Squibs, even if she hadn't been to their ship but heard about it from Doc telling it during their journeys down the dark corridors.

"Nice speech, Jenny, we should let you on the Ugor ship sometimes, maybe you could kick Ugor's asses wide." Snipes commented on what she said, chuckling on his own joke with no one else taking it too much to heart with the projector rolling down the corridors and crushing something real hard, for it squirted out pseudopodia, probably calling for help.

"Ugors, and they're packing mercenary rifles, wow, nice, detonators to destroy the projector, I'm guessing they're not letting this thing walk out their so-called temple that is now ripping itself apart. Weapons at the ready and keep moving, they know we're here and they're not sending greeting cards either, so we're going to send them blaster bolts for their unkindness. Let's move this thing down the corridor and watch out for Ugors." Riq said, remarking on the crushed Ugor scouting out the corridor as Jenny pushed the projector down the next corridor, Ugors ducking as they come through the doors, firing blaster bolts everywhere, the platoon running to cover as they fired back.

Here comes a chance to send those blaster bolts, hope they don't mind some on their eyes, it's quite the present for their vision. Jenny thought, easing her mind as she fired on them.

I'm just experimenting with the Ugors, I'm still unclear as to how they die and everything, so it's not such a long post.

Snipes, being Snipes, was decidedly upset about the mission. He hated fighting droids, they tended to be boring, and he hating being anywhere he couldn’t smoke.

“When this mission’s over, I’m blowing up a church.” Snipes grumbled.

“You know, one could say we’re in a church.” Kanderin fired back, Snipes assumed he was grinning behind his helmet.

“Good, then I won’t have to go far.”

Snipes spun himself upside down, or was it still upside down, since as far as he was concerned he was still right side up, but now the death star fragment was upside down. The physics gave Snipes a headache, so for now what had been the ceiling was the floor, until it proved convenient for it to no longer be a floor. Either way, now the rest of the group was above him and he was left with a much clearer view of what was coming. He closed his eyes tight in frustration.

“Yay! We  have incoming, looks to be twelve or fourteen! Ain’t this just a wonderful effin’ day.” Snipes really wanted a cigarette.

“It’s always night in space.”

“Shut up.”

Snipes raised his rifle to his shoulder, took aim, and unleashed three bolts at a particularly ugly Ugor. They were all ugly creatures, from what little Snipes could make out through their space suits. The suits themselves seemed to be randomly thrown together out of spare parts, some had tools instead of hands, some had hands, some had four hands. Snipes bolts collided with one of the more highly limbed members of the group, the suit couldn’t take the abuse and burst around the area a humans heart should be. Snipes watched in morbid glee as the entire creature was pushed into vacuum through a hole little larger than his fists held together. It squirmed and wriggled for a few seconds and Snipes was forced to giggle a bit. Their ability to adapt the shape of their body seemed to be their undoing. And it was hilarious.

“Does this lack of gravity make my butt look big?” RK asked, His face turning into a wide grin, knowing nobody would be able to see it under his helmet. Nobody responded, save Riq who let out a slow sigh, and kept shaking his head while repeating ‘RK’ over and over again.

“Stop worrying about your already deformed figure RK and help defend this thing.” Kand said, pointing ahead towards the advancing Ugors.

“Deformed? Who you calling deformed?” RK mentally slapped himself, knowing that his lack of attention could have resulted in his demise, or worse. But instead of analyzing his mistake he got to work.

He quickly reached for his CR-2 pistol, pulling it out of its sealed holster as fast as RK could make himself move. But even with it in hand he couldn’t get a good shot in; he hadn’t been paying attention and he had collided with the ceiling, throwing off his aim. The impact bounced him off and gave him enough time to grab onto a loose piece of metal. Let’s try this again. During his whole charade the ugors had advanced and one was now almost right on top of him. RK fired blindly, the lack of sound making it hard to tell whether he had hit anything or not.

Time seemed to pass by slowly when he finally opened his eyes. And what he saw would scar him for life. The body of the Ugor he had just shot was falling apart inside of its armor, melting and seeping out holes he had put in the helmet.

“Speaking of deformed….” RK said, his eyes still trained on the dead ugor in front of him. I think I’m going to be sick.

"First droids, now these Ugor things. This just keeps getting better, doesn't it?" Koll said, gunning down another Ugor. One closed in quickly, prompting Koll to draw his knife and rip it open. "These things move pretty quick for only having hair to walk on. And in zero-g, no less." Koll noticed the Ugor slowly...seep its cellular contents out. He grabbed the bulkhead above him, relatively, and used it to aid in a tiwst as he kicked the corpse away. That only left more...goo. Koll swung to the side and drifted until he hit a wall.

"Well, these things have made my shortlist of creatures that make me want to lower my sun-visor in low-light," Koll said, gunning down another Ugor. They seemed to be rather resilient for a unicellular species. At least, Koll assumed that they were unicellular, despite being so big.

"Is Koll getting a bit queasy?" Kand chuckled over the comm. The Zabrak just shook his head, resisting the urge for friendly fire.

"Ok, tough guy, you split one of these bad boys open when it comes near you next," Koll retorted.

I think it's okay, RK, though we'll have to what Doc says about it. Although I'm more worried about my latest post, if it's not verbalizing too much or repeating other's description (to help mine) or something else wrong with it.

Jenny knew that the platoon were getting closer to their own shuttle, with Doc occupied on the comlink, convincing the pilot to try not to run into to any of the Ugor ships, even though he said they were only transport ships, Doc was worried and frustrated, Jenny could tell by his voice and tone as she overheard the comlink conversation, she didn't want to hear it but she knew how much protecting Spilfer and the projector was now, top priority, with Spilfer seem to have fun killing the Ugors in front of him and the projector crushing a few Ugor in its wake like bowling pins.

She killed another Ugor with DC-17 blaster bolts, reenacting what Koll, RK, and Snipes had already done, bursting the Ugor's suit like bubbles and making it fall apart as RK had seen inside the helmet, goo squirting out like squirting water.  Its mate, having saw what she did, charged at her with rage and a knife, poised upon her heart. She avoided it in time and kind of rolled in midair to the creature's back, then taking a bayonet in her left hand, shooting off the helmet, and stabbing the bayonet into the creatures' eyes, blinding it and sending it off into the vaccum, squirming and wriggling, feeling the urge to laugh at it acting like a cartoon character zooming off.

"Alright, people, we need to get moving, the ship's not far away now that the Ugors seem to be coming out by the numbers, we need to let off some grenades and push them back from middle, squeezing them at the corners, making a path for us and possibly lots of goo on the side, if you get what I mean, so let's not get queasy." Doc announced to everyone through comlink after his conversation with the pilot, the projector in front of him and ready to roll, sounding serious and steady, for the odds weren't getting good for them and they needed to turn it around soon.

Jenny nodded along with the rest of the platoon, getting ready to charge in with the projector rolling as the grenades were set off into the Ugor crowd, the doors in front of them sliding open to reveal more grunts with Elites pushing out in front, carrying vibroblades. She saw Koll hesitate to roll the projector down in case it ran into the Elites ahead, with grunts blown away like ragdolls by the blast of the grenade or blaster fire.

"I see why you got a bit queasy, Koll." Jenny heard kand reply to Koll's last retort, seeing him get caught in a close fight with a Ugor grunt too and ripping it open, almost in slow motion, the goo spurting out like blood onto Kand's suit, he added while Helena quickly cleaned that up: "Damn bastards couldn't even shoot out their blood elsewhere, it's disgusting!"

Jenny could tell as the grunts fell one by one in the platoon's charge, getting in close with their knives, vibroblades, vibrobayonets, electrostaffs or any other melee weapon that they had prepared, the grunts' celluar insides seeping out along with goo, and she avoided the urge to puke. She was getting up close and personal with the Elites coming forth,  who were guys with forggy-looking armor that had taken Doc before for entrance fees, looking very intimating and hardcore, wanting to kill them all for their trespass into their holy 'temple'.

She avoided the first few swings made by its pseudopoda, making her a bit dizzy as she controlled her self and cut off one of its pseudopoda, seeing it fly off with goo spurting itself out from the missing tentacle. She jumped the next move made to her legs and blocked two pseudopoda vibroblades aiming for her arms, pushing them back and cutting these two pseudopoda off as well. She could tell the Ugor Elite wasn't pleased with it, as it hit her hard on the chest with the heel of its weapon and almost choked the breath out of her, forcing her back to Helena and Kand, who supported her, expressing encouraging words and battling with her the Ugor Elite, who looked somewhat shocked at their appearance but still kept his rage controlling him, slashing out at them at the first opportunity. Jenny had enough trouble with the droids and hated the impression that this gamorrean of an Ugor Elite was going to defeat them, and that was not in a million years, not if she could help it. so finally, with the help of Helena and Kand distracting it, She ended it with a stab through thing's heart, or what she thought was its heart, pulling the sword out and ducking out of the way with Kand and Helena, letting the goo spurt onto grunts retreating as the platoon came forward with the rolling projector. Jenny nodded and waved to Doc with Kand and Helena, who had informed them of the projector's arrival just in time.

"Nice timing, Doc, we'll get the next Elite while you continue with the grunts." Kand said, giving a thumbs-up to Doc before waving Jenny and Helena to the next fast and agile Elite, RK catching up to help them.

God, I love living in epic battles, they make my life seem like a great action movie or something. Jenny thought, whooping in her head, feeling the energy pumping her body as she fought with her vibroblade while light-weight in zero-g.
