IRC issues

Yeah, I'm problems with IRC, PiRCH, etc,

Thats how far it gets before just remaining there,
Darr says I show up on his notices, and sometimes I manage to enter a channel, but then the channel is empty, it doesn't even show my nick. I've tried connecting to other networks and servers as well, and nada.

Any idea whats the cause?

Just a note here, she's had the same problem with irc.vastempire.com and irc.fossiltechnology.com.

Sometimes if your connection is crappy it takes a loooong time to load on big servers. VE isn't the biggest, but if it were to be having to wait to load, that's where ti would stop.

At least in my experience.
