Come on, Nazzies! Let's see some posts. Viper's put up four posts since our last one and have more overall, and we've got more people than they do.
If you're lacking material to post on, glance at this:
-Still approximately 6 enemy Headhunters left to kill (Use flashbacks, since the story has progressed)
-Theories about why Hunter is investigating the mine rather than fighting
-Theories about what's happening at the mine
-Flashbacks/thoughts about the squadron's time off before the mission and/or about personal stories
-More stuff based off the contents of the next post I'll put up.
If you have questions about the story, post 'em and we'll get things figured out.
Last thing. I'll be gone for three weeks starting Thursday morning. Eaglle and Qayla will be taking orders from Driver, as explained in my next story post.

Nice post Drac. From what I can see in my TIE, the enemy has two Action V Bulk Freighters, one of which is seriously damaged, and to many fighters to count. Our comrades at the outpost don't have anything but TIEs, namely Fighters, Bombers, and a few Interceptors. They are seriously outnumbered by the pirates though, but seem to be holding their own. Just poking my head in between mission trips.
Reading up on the current mission, there's a couple things everyone needs to be reminded of: I know the number of enemy snubfighters out there is undefined, but Naval standards dictate one kill per post...or at least Nazgul standards do. Let's not see any more of these posts where one or two pilots are portrayed as killing off half a dozen enemies in short order...frankly, that's ridiculous and very hard to believe.
The other thing is connected to the first, and something I've been just as guilty of as anyone...we need to have a bit more respect for the NPC pilots we shoot down. Just because we're the "elite" squadron does not mean that we fly around killing everyone off easily...in fact, only Driver and Slasher were even with Nazgul to win that. Take some time and make each dogfight interesting and unique...not every pilot is the same. Each will have different strengths and weaknesses, which should add a whole other dimension to dogfights. Take advantage of that opportunity.
If you want an example of the way of thinking (and writing) that I'm talking about, take a look at my last story post. I can't claim to be good at it yet, but the basics of the principle are there...I also want to encourage each of you to set yourself a goal when you write story posts. Personally, I have vowed to never make another Nazgul story post at less than 1000 words. You don't have to go that far, but aim one or two hundred words higher than your average. You'll have to brainstorm to come up with good content for the extra words, and that will make you a better writer.
Now, I didn't mean to jump on and rant at you all (lol). I just wanted to set some guidelines and give some advice...and we'll need this soon, mark my words. Best of luck to all of you. I'll be back on the 21st or so.

My average would be higher than it is if I actually spent some time on a post, say at least 45 minutes  I've been spending 30 minutes or less on each post which doesn't do for good posts. Which is another tip, spend as much time as you can on a post and if you can't, then don't post a halfway finished post. Save your work and finish it later. IT's honestly up to you. You can pretend you're in Viper, or you can pretend you're Nazgul but accompanying us, you can just blunder into our situation... I leave it up to you.
It's an exceries in moving plots forward, and keeping stories going, whilst also making it beleivable and open for the next person to continue on from.
