Right, with so little chance of catching myself in a meeting, or a meeting catching me, this thread will have to do.


First of all, congratulations to Giovanni, the ASL of the Black Jack Squad. Both he and Black deserves this.

Next is Private First Class Zolos who has been elected a few weeks ago as Fire Team Leader for Black Jack. He is promoted from PFC to Lance Corporal.

Then the next two troopers are from Jester Squad.

How to put this? I don't recall ever having a problem with these two troopers. They rarely failed to report, and they're both rarely involve themselves in unpleasant situations. They remind about why I joined three years ago, which is to have fun, and relax.

They also have both shown consistent pace of activity in the missions over a long time without ever asking for credit and rewards. And of course, I shouldn't forget the wiki work Verkur has pulled off.

Congratulations, Jinx, you are hereby promoted to Sergeant, and you Verkur, are promoted to Corporal.

Then, on a slightly more serious note.
A while ago, one of the best things that could have happened to Storm, and the Army left, with the hopeful promise of returning to us one day. Of course I'm talking about Riqimo. I shall simply refer to him as "The One who shall return" :P

Anyhowz, with his absence I've unfortunately replaced him which obviously left my spot open. Kami will now fill that in, and is the new Storm PA. And I did forget to mention she replaced me as the Jester SL.

Please remember to congratulate these members should you see them sometime Hypothetically speaking.


And then on a more serious note.

Kami, we talked squad business on IRC, Tanus thank you for yours, and Lucky is on leave though all the Paladin members are aware that they can report to me weekly as well yet I only received one report from Nova(Thanks btw)

So, it's always been a simple threat, yet not ever has it really been carried out. I'm on the verge of demoting not one, but several members, though I'd like to see whats the thoughts of the platoon on this? Too extreme? I think it is. What would you like to see me and Kami do about the lack of reports from troopers?

Or should withdrew medals and awards?  Though that kinda beats the point of them shiny devils.

I'd like to hear some input from you guys, I don't want to be a bitch, but alas, I need to do my virtual job on this forsaken cable connection. 

I do warn you all however, starting next week, demotions will follow as I see fit. I've got a pretty complete record of troopers' report statuses. So if you'd like to save the hide of your rank, then a report this week will suffice.

And then, as Kami so beautifully put it, she's having a cow about people sitting in active roster slots, yet not doing a damn about it.If we don't see a mission post in 9 consecutive days or posting leave, you will get dumped to the Reserves Roster. You can inform me and Kami should you want back in the squad.-Effective immediately. We'll give you till Wensday to fix this.

Anyhowz, as I said, please remember to congratuluate those lucky ones on their promotions.

Just wanted to make a quick note and say that I'm quite honored to have the chance to work with Storm as PA. The platoon has had some great PC's over the last few years, namely Kairo and Riq, who have worked hard to create an individual identity for Storm. It used to be, if I recall correctly, just poor ol' Jester sitting down below Wildcard on the roster. In comparison, today, Storm now numbers three squads strong, all of which have the potential to reclaim a strong level of activity and have some serious fun with writing.

I guess, ultimately, what I'm trying to say is that Ae and I are really excited about implementing any new ideas or suggestions you guys might have about how to improve your squads, and the platoon in general. Rest assured that at the end of the day each and every one of you are very important to the continued existence of the platoon, so don't hesitate to ask for help, or come chat if you have issues with RL or something VE related.

After all, that's what we're here for
