Methods of obtaining more ICs:
1) Pay Per Click - this is probably the quickest way of getting a constant stream of ICs.
2) Imperitrade Financial - buy/sell stocks. It takes some getting used to because you need to anticipate which stocks you think will be worth more in the next day, week, or month. Some stocks have 90-day holding requirements (you need to hold the stock for at least 90 real-life days before you can sell it). Other stocks have 0-day holding times (you can sell them immediately after you buy them).
3) Promotion in either Rank or Position - you can do this by being active on both the ComNet (your squad, posting in general, character development stories, etc.) and by getting on mIRC chat, Java Chat, or any other chat client, and talking with the rest of our members. And actually, it is not required for you to get on and "talk" the entire time. Many of us get on, talk once in a while, but mainly go idle and just minimize the chat client - it shows that we're online :P
4) Come up with something that people will demand and sell it! Come up with a new squad web site design, graphics design, forum avatars, etc. Something you think people would go nuts for, and sell it. I made quite a good amount of ICs selling custom-made avatars when they first became popular, so you could always try to come up with a new concept.
