HOW CAN I PLAY?

Hello im new at this server and i want to know how to play On YOUR server! What must i changed at Star wars Galaxies ? A data? or what? pls help me!

yes, first type this IP on the "Search Network" box. 125.551.234.128
you have to dl some *coughmodscough* to make the box appears, Cannot say the url here, sorry,.. read the rules thread above.

After that, just go to the cantina with a big "Vast Empire" billboard on top of it. Inside you will find a grey Jawa receptionist. He will tell you more.

note for n00bs : if you encounter a Quadsaber Gungan, run like hell. The GM haven't nerf that one and it still lurking around long after the festivus ended..don't ask me , ask gm.

second, when talking to Jawa, be sure to read Everything before choosing the "submit button", the last thing you want is accidentally joining a group that full of Wookiess.

Why does it always fall to me to ruin Christmas?

Doskiro the Vast Empire is not a game in what is the common terminology. It is instead a story oriented "game" for example it's completely role playing with words and you use the imagination you were born with (regardless of how sick and twisted) to act it out while adding to the story. If my explanation sucks its because after 2 years here, I still can't exactly describe what we do.

VE is not a text based RPG

its a clan of troopers that wears Mrrr-Proof armour glued together using pink duct-tapes.

add... and the officer uses Pink Bunny Bathrobe as their official uniform

You'll want to watch out for the Army guys. They spend so much time killing things they think they're the Galaxies biggest comedian.

The Vast Empire is a Text-based Roleplaying game. We write stories, collective stories.

Some VE players do play SWG, but there is not a dedicated VE server.

AN OFFICIAL EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT THE VAST EMPIRE IS:

The Vast Empire is NOT a game (this means it is NOT a SWG private server, or any other type of gaming server). We SUPPORT SWG gaming, but we ourselves are not a private server.

The Vast Empire is a FORUM-BASED Star Wars club - a text-based RPG refers to an online browser-based/text-based game (like World of War, The Five Pillars, etc.) - that, we are NOT.

Our primary activity is writing posts on our ComNet (message board) - we participate in the stories that each of us writes and provide character development via the use of our 1337 keyboarding skill.

If you have any questions on what you must do/what to do next, feel free to send me a message via the ComNet Message Center (link on the very top of ComNet). I am the Commander of Training for the Stormtrooper Corps, so I'm open to any questions you may have.

The FES (Force Elite Soldiers) are our Allies. They are not a part of the Vast Empire. The FES is purely a gaming club - they do not write stories like we do.

The FES servers you see are the servers they use. Some of them are private (example would be Jedi Outcast and other simple/small games), or you'll see them use the Eclipse server on SWG (the FES doesn't have a private SWG server - since that's illegal).

The Imperial Center Store and Star Wars Galaxies are two completely separate entities. The Imperial Center Store is a VE site feature - and you may use those items you buy in your stories (some items require prior Squad Leader authorization).

Star Wars Galaxies is an MMO created by LEC - it's a game like Jedi Outcast.

The Imperial Center Store (ICS) items are for our stories/character development only. SWG is game that's completely independent of the Vast Empire and it's site features.
