yes. there are a few dark jedi pilots in the VEN. tho joining the ranks of dark jedi order has quite a few requirements and an application process. -(William the Conquerer)-

I don't think Will was really clear here. Your character can not have anything resembling or even close to the Force or its related subjects. The only way for that to happen is for you to enter the DJO (Dark Jedi Order). This is one of our elite groups, and has a minimum requirement of six months of activity. The Force is considered a myth, and those talking about it or supporting it are likely to find themselves court martialed, which is not a pretty process in the Navy. I don't think I'm revealing too much by clarifying a little more:
The active members of the Dark Jedi Order tend not to make a public display of their powers. Force-related endeavours are almost always restricted to the Dark Jedi ComNet. SCAP/COM Darkhawk/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=SCPA=)(=MA=)(=FCO=)[LoR][LSM][BRC][MC1][CBV.][VC:E][NDM][KC:OC]

I'd like to expand a bit on this too. Here at the VE we try to rise to a certain standard of roleplaying, especially in the Navy. Our posts are not a sentence or two, generally more than two or three paragraphs. To be honest the standard in the Navy is probably around 500ish, if you total it all up. The Army holds a lower bar, but this is due to their larger numbers and often the speed in which they find themselves posting between members. Well it's not really that the Army holds a lower bar, it's just that Troopers are following their SL's examples and such, and when you look at the Navy, not a single Squadron Commander has posted less then 500 words. You do have to remember people will always follow the leader, and that if you have someone saying that 200 word posts will be acceptable, then that is what will happen.
Most of my posts are above 550 words.
It's mostly activity we look for though. *Squad Leader*SL/SGT Leon/2SQD/1PLT/1CMP/1RGT/1BAT/Tadath/VEA/[ES2]/[BC]/[BoH]/[RCoD] And so we go. ~WildcardPlatoo n ~ "Faithful to the end..." |

Don't let us give you the wrong impression, there generally is no word minimum, but we always encourage better writing. Your squad leader may or may not assign some sort of minimum, but that's also what the Academy is here for, to introduce you to how it's done around here. Don't worry, you'll be fine. I couldn't agree more with you there Alater.
Dude, this place is to have fun, and if you can't meet a certain word limit, then that's ok. We can't make you post a 500 word post, and eventually, through time, you'll be able to make those posts without even trying.
