My 2 cents on Sith Trooper Armor. Sniping101 states "For the record, there is no way that would be effective against modern blasters." That is largely accurate. The Sith Trooper Armor is at the low end of light armor: minimal protection & minimal encumberance. That said, it holds up to physical & energy damage equally well. Stormtrooper Armor is a medium armor that protects 50% better than Sith Trooper Armor for energy-based attacks; 200% better than Sith Trooper Armor for physical attacks. The Sith Assault Armor offers marginally superior protection compared to Stormtrooper Armor but is less cumbersome & offers equal protection for physical & energy attacks. Also Elite Sith Troopers, Heavy Troopers, Grenadiers & Commandos had more advanced armor but you cant loot/find/buy it in the game. There may be cheats to wear those armors/skins, but I don't know how much better they are. Military/Industrial Complexes to support the Vast Empire would be cool, wouldn't they? They benefit the economy & individual citizens of the VE! They crush Rebel Scum! On another topic why not Riot Shields? The basic model is essentially a lage panel of Stormtrooper Armor that can be worm over the left forearm, or slung on the back. It has a rack to hold the E-11/Stormtrooper One (or similar) Rifle, Scout Pistol, blaster packs, grenades & other gear! Elite models have a Cortosis-weave (& and cost 500 or 600 ICs more)! I know you said that the sabers aren't for the store (obviously) but I find it interesting that they have it so Storm Troopers actually have a lightsaber. I wonder what the basis is.
