The items list can be found by going to the main page clicking on online roster which is under resources. On the left hand side press any of the buttons because a menu option only appears after you click on one of them. (Don't know why) after clicking on one of them a new option should appear called edit profile; click on that.
The items should be listed under purchases.
Awards however are announced during VE meetings on mIRC at 4:00 EST in the main channel of #Vast_Empire. There are also meetings logs which are found on the main page under archives. Judging from how recent you joined I would think that you would not have any medals yet.
