Welcome Kids!
This tutorial is for those out there that are new to mIRC, and need to know how to set it up.
Of course the first step is downloading and installing.

Now when you first load mIRC up, you should get a box like:
Always click continue, they are just looking for donations, which I would encourage you to do, but it's not needed, even when it says you need to. Just click continue.
After you click that, the status window should pop up, and also this:
Since this is your first time using mIRC, everything will be blank.
I've indicated in the next picture what you need to fill in:
Your nickname will be what people see you as on IRC, and there can be no spaces in it.
Now to put the correct server information in.
You will have to click Servers:
At this new screen, click add:
When this screen comes up, it should look like this:
And this is what you should enter for the information, then click add:
Now click Select:
Now you can click Connect To Server:
Alot of words should now pop up on your screen, don't care about them. All you have to do now is type
/join #Vast_Empire
