Just asking: Say you just clicked on the Comnet link from the VE main page. You get to the comnet main screen. In each separate Comnet (i.e. Naval Academy, Lounge, etc.) it shows who posted in it the most recently. Would it be possible to show what thread that person made that most recent post under? -----------------------

That is possible, but the topic name could be pretty long. So it might not look right with all that information.
If you can show me an example of some forum that does this as an example, maybe there is a different way to show it. -----------------------

I've been a member of forums that do that. It usually ends up pushing alot of it out so that you cant see it, and looks terrible. It can be done, but it wouldnt be very nice to comnet's appearnance. Maybe you could have it so that you could click on something to see the details of the latest post in the topic. -----------------------

You might be able to make it so only acertain amount of characters from the topics show, like so you can get an idea of what you're clicking on. Although, to be honest, I prefer to go into each ComNet and look for new posts cause there is always the chance that you might miss something you want to post on. -----------------------

I'm trying to say that there could be a clicky-link to the thread that was most recently posted on. There could be an allotted amount of characters for what is on the link, such as this:

The italicized things are the links (the name is already a link to either that person's email or profile, I forget which...) and the topic name is a link to that thread and the most recent post on it.
Basically it's just another shortcut. -----------------------
