So I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what exactly the point of the VEEC is at the moment.  The only thing that seems to garner any interest at all is the VE Today, and that seems to be slacking off a bit.  What is it that we want to do with the VEEC?

Unfortunately we can't just be a newspaper group.  That seems a bit lame.  I would like to have a direction that people are willing to follow.  If there is no real interest in doing that, then I guess for a while I'm going to have to shove the VEEC in a direction that I see fit, but eventually I'm going to burn out and the VEEC will be back where it is again.  It would be a lot easier for some people to help provide a direction and then as a whole we can shove it that way.

One of the things that I would like to see done wit h the VEEC is to provide a means for directing some of the web development in a more dynamic way.  Providing some of the web developers with information and ideas on how to speed up/improve the look of the webpages so as to attract members as well as design/develop some tools that will make getting work done in the Vast Empire a lot easier.
