Normally, I'd ask for a challenge in Jedi Academy or Jedi Knight, but since those games are kinda wacky on my computer right now, I'm accepting any, and all challenges on GB. Just tell me when, where, and how much you're willing to lose  (of course, the games will have to wait until after I come back from my trip) -----------------------

Gees Jack. Give him a little slack. I know you used to do the same thing, but no one jumped down your throat so much. Well maybe Angel or someone like that might have. Anyways, if he edited his first post, no one would see that he is still looking for people since it doesn't show up as an unread post if you edit. True, he probably should have edited, but this isn't a widely used topic and it was started by him. I don't see the harm in him just putting another little post after his own... And for you Jakerith. Uhhh yeah Jack, I'd appreciate you not being on me about every little thing that has to do with the ComNet, and Kairos right, if I edited, I wouldn't have had any reply to my challenge. Nearly everytime I post, you reply almost instantly with some criticism and its becoming annoying. I know the thing about editing now, but this time it's justified. Like I said, calm down... I would play. I'm not that good at it cuz I suck at computer games. I'm better on my XBOX. I haven't played for a while either because I got bored of it since I can't play online for some reason. I think it's my internet connection or soemthing. I'm going to try again and see if it works. If it works ill be happy to play. Playing is fun lol. And don't want to bring back something from a couple of weeks ago but Jack I would have backed you up if I was around at that time when you were probably being brraged wiht off topic signs and stuff like that. Wow it's wierd how its true. The circle of life. Oh yeah and just in case someone doesn't know, Galactic Battlegrounds is pretty much Age of Empires, Star Wars style. -----------------------

You need 1.1, you can get it off Lucasarts.com.
Oh, and lately, Its seems alot of people dont like Zone, although I enjoy it because its a bit easier to get on and find games. I can change the mode of play to IP if you guys wanted, we need to know whos playing, then take a vote on it. -----------------------

As long as you have the latest patch (1.1) and a connection to the internet, you can connect via IP. In fact, its even easier to get a IP connection than it is Zone, since they have had god knows how many server cut-outs in the last few months. It's definitely unreliable. -----------------------

Wow, there's alot more interest in this then I thought....hmmm, well.......Everyone who has the game can send me an email. Make sure to include a zone name (or if you prefer to use IP, let me know) and any times in the near future you are available for a game. Considering that many are in different time zones, you'll have to keep that in mind when you put down those numbers. Also, I want to use CC (SWGB Clone Campaigns), the expansion for the original game. It fixes alot of bugs in the original, and has a ton of new units, always a good thing
When I get everyones name, I'll post it here on this thread along with the time of the game. We can also make it into a tournament, depending on the activity turnout. I wanted to have a prize for the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd-maybe more) even if we dont have a tourney, but things can get even more interesting if we do, hehe. The prize system would probably incorporate the use of a pot (just chipping in a certain amount and distributing it to the winner) but we could try something else.
Like I said, this is just getting things moving, so I wont be to specific at this point.
