I would use something that's as neutral as the standard theme. so olive and darker shades of grey are in my opinion an option. -----------------------

What about creating styles that are similar to your squad colors, so you can select a certain color scheme for your particular squad. -----------------------

In case anyone is interested in creating new ComNet styles, Yillis can help you out.
Though, it's pretty easy. Just take the comnet.css file and change it how you want it to look. Make sure to test it on a few saved html pages of the ComNet to make sure it will work ok. If it's approved, it will be added.
To get it approved, you'll have to send me the .css file along with your test html pages to show that it works.
