A while back, Raziel and I had a great idea submitted to us, and it has taken until now to organize it. This was an idea to promote activity (obviously) and reward those who produced it greatly. Seeing as how we want to see you work together as a group, you will be rewarded by Squads and not by indivudals. Seeing that this is the first week, I am going to allot 5k to each member of the winning squad. Normally the winner will be announced at the platoon meeting or during Platoon Fun Nights (Coming soon) but seeing as neither are in session at the minute: I need to

This will start this week seeing as is it kinda dead story-wise at the minute. I'd like to see how you manage to keep activity up as a squad. Raziel and myself will be monitoring you when we're online to see how you're performing. Your actions will either cause you to earn points or lose points. NOTE: There won't be a scaled point system like in a gaming competition, its just like a point for this, a point for that. We go by your group efforts mostly. However, for the individuals that get out of line, or for some other reason cause their squad to "lose points", the points WILL be scaled depending on the action. Maybe points are a bad way of expressing it, but thats the best way I can. Whatever I do or don't do, you will get a detailed report (by squad) of why points were added or taken away.

Your expected activity will earn you points. Expected activity is the normal gaming, chatting, report sending, and story posting when it gets up. Extra activity will earn you bonus points. Extra activity will include, but not be limited to: web-page design, graphics making, organizing fun events, etc. NOTE: Specialty Stories do NOT count as extra activity, as you should be working on them when you have nothing to do (storywise)

The loss of points can vary depending on what it does. For instance: If Fury, Peacemaker, myself, Raziel, or anyone else for that matter needs to break up a squad feud (intra-squad or inner-squad it doesn't matter) that will result in points being taken away from the squad. If you have someone active in the squad that really isn't doing anything, that will lose you some points, but not as much as if you would during a squad feud. Another matter that would cause your squad to lose points is the people that don't send in reports. To be completely fair: for each person who does not send in a report, I will deduct one point. Again keep in mind, points are not going to be used like they would in our multi-player competitions that we like to have. Just keep in mind that you need to focus on "working together".

On Meeting Day (VE Meeting) I shall tally everything up, and make an assessment of each squad. This week there will be an announcement at the meeting of who won, or if I am not there, I will leave word on where to find the detailed information. And as I said earlier, this week the prize this week will be 5k to each member of the winning squad as thanks for helping me test this out. If this proves to be a good system and you like it, I shall up the ante for the next round. I think a fair choice would be of the following (5k for each trooper, new squad equipment, or personal items/equipment from the store). This will be decided by your squad leader, by whatever means they find necessary. (Vote, decision by him alone, meeting with ASL/FTC, etc.)

We find this to be a good idea and should prove to be fun if it works out. Good luck to all, and hopefully we'll have some close competition for that 5k reward. This is effective now, and I will announce the winner on August 15th.

Also, I was thinking, and maybe Kadann could give us a little more perspective here, that each squad would have their own little "account". With this squad account, any competitions that the squad wins, they could be awarded ICs and put into that account. This way, we're not only rewarding individual members, we're rewarding the entire squad. With this squad money, the SL could use the squad's money, go to the Imperial Center, and buy whatever new weapons he/she deems the squad needs and/or deserves.

Just a thought.

This is possible.  However, I would need an approval from Fury in order to do anything.

If approved, this is what I would need:
- List of squads that would need an account (maybe platoons as well)
- Who the account information will go to (username/password) for each squad/platoon/etc

FINE PRINT:  We track everything so if the HC finds that these accounts are being used for personal use rather than for the intended squad/platoon/etc, the funding for these accounts will very quickly frozen.

And, Yeah, WoT is way better than LotR, it soo much more complex, more unpredictable plot line, more realistic battles, ect. . .ect. . .
