[OOC:  A little late for me to post this but I figured the VEN needs to be aware of Daishi becoming the special guest squad leader to lead Wraith on a daring mission to rescue Kuroishi, my otherself.  /OOC]

No one had managed to notice Daishi had left.

He had something special to take care of.

After learning his otherself had been captured, Daishi knew he would have to go after him.

Space taping a note to the door to his quarters, Daishi only stayed at a computer terminal long enough to submit a bit of paper work.

Things were both the same and different.

Daishi had been trained as a marine before he had been trained as a starfighter pilot.

It had been a long time since he had put those skills to use last.

The mission to rescue him after being shot down was haphazard and disorganized.  Though the effort and the VEN command staff's decision to do it had made Daishi realize just what he had been a part of.

Daishi was nothing more then a Rear Admiral with no other purpose then to fly for Raptor squadron.  Despite that the VEN command staff still valued him enough to come after him when he was shot down.

His otherself may only be a sergeant who's only purpose was to lead a VEA squad into battle, but to Daishi he was just as valuable.

The Sweetums awaited.
