Greetings,
I had an idea that seeing some of us are starting to get back on the zone anyways, that we could hold a sort of tournament. I will be willing to set this all up, and give out the prizes. However, I do need to know if any of you would like to do this. I am hoping to get at least ten (10) people for this, but I really want to see more like 16-20 (or more). All those interested I am asking to please post a message here. Also, in your post include wether or not you would like to have a pot where everyone involved puts in "X amount of ICS" and winner gets all or if you want to have the traditional first place, second place and so on.
The games involved will be:
-Chess
-Cribbage
-Backgammon
-Checkers
-Plus any good suggestions
The game format will be either single or double elimination depending on how many of you gamers want to sign up. This will be a good break from JO and other games, but it will get you thinking. I have played many games with people in this club, and a lot of you are good at these games. So....let the signups begin. Once again, give me a post and include:
1. If you want to have a pot or standard awards
2. What games you can play
3. Any suggestions for games
4. If you need to be taught a game, I will teach you before I even draw up the tournament list. But tell me which one(s)

I will play whatever.. I amnot great at anything, so I figure it doesnt matter  So count me in
1. If you want to have a pot or standard awards: Doesnt matter to me.. but I vote for standard.

Well I will play. You need to own the game to play Risk on the zone but I was wondering if we could add Risk II and Axis and Allies to the list of games if there is enough demand. -----------------------

Okay guys we have 7 people including myself. I will not hold a tournament unless I can get at least 3-5 more people! Another alternative would be to ask our FES friends to take 7 ppl against our 7 people. Oh hell, just have ANYONE sign up for this thing. FES or VE! The list so far is as follows
