OOC: Excuse me for starting this, Bear, I think that I really need to talk to TJ in this campaign, and since there was no topic up, I decided to make one. If you want, delete this topic and make one of your own.

TJ, since we're both going on the defensive, I suggest we start putting our heads together. Your forces appear to be only troops. No mechanical war machines of any sort, so the only troops at your disposal are of weak units, but with fast meneuverability on the field.
I have one AT-AT and two AT-STs at my disposal. I have already come up with a decision for relocating my troops, pending approval of the Platoon leaders under my command.
It doesn't look like we're going to get to communicate in this round (first day, anyway), but I suggest that we start coordinating movements together. With my mechanical fire power and the large amounts of troops that you have, we will be able to help each other greatly: rescuing units, reinforcements, etc. -----------------------

Maybe Gravin will chose AT AT or STs when he comes in, but for now, why dont i send one of my STs in return for maybe 2 of their troopers so they have some mechanical power/maneuverability -----------------------

If you start trading individual units, under whose command will those units fall?
I would advise one thing: If you want to trade units, trade Platoons, not the Squads (Squad = 1 unit). Let the Platoon Commander go over to the other front and him and his Platoon will come under the command of that Front commander.
Of course, you would then have to manually move all your units to the other front. The airlift facility will only take your units to the river in the north - no exceptions.
You might get some troop carriers in the next mission, though..  -----------------------

Southern Front HQ,
I know that your forces have been attacked by the Cleoggi pretty hard, and our orders are to make a run for it. However, the Cleoggi are heavily armed, as stated in previous reports, and you might get totally wiped out. My plan is to send our 1st and 6th platoons to provide cover-fire for your forces, while ours make an escape as well.
1st is a platoon of stormies and 6th platoon is composed of two AT-STs and one stormie. That should help provide enough of a wall for most of your forces to escape.
My decision is not to sacrifice those units, although I know they might get wiped out. I want to let you know that those forces will be strategically placed and fortified. Those forces will be immediatley evacuated the minute your forces are a good distance away from the Cleoggi.

I don't speak for Colonel TJ. Just clearing that up.
I don't like the fact that you're risking a large part of your firepower to try and save us--from the tactical pictures we've got, your units might get overrun (and you're still willing to follow through with this plan).
I appreciate the offer, and it could be useful, do as you will, and I pray your guys will make it out alive.
I think we'll be moving all units back as fast as possible, with the wounded from each turn being airlifted back to the fortifications and given a chance to rest. By the time the rest of our forces arrive, they should be back to full strength and ready to help in the defense of the bridge crossing.

Well, I do not mean to sacrifice those platoons. My plan is to get them to attract some of the Cleoggi away from your units and to get them out ASAP while my units are also on the retreat.
