Well, going on the defensive right now is out of the question. We don't know how many enemy forces are waiting for us in the forest, and our forces could be slaughtered.
I do concur with moving our forces back. The Cleoggi might be better armed than we are, but at least they won't get any defensive bonuses on the plains. I would like to somewhat follow what the Southern Front's forces are doing, and start making a wall with our troops. -----------------------

Movement Suggestion:
Fortify the At-AT in its position and move the AT-STs beside it.
Move one platoon of stormies slightly to the SE and fortify them there.
Move the second platoon of stormies two spaces away from the forest where the 3 cleoggi are and fortify them. That way we draw them to our fortified positions.
If they dont attack then we can nail them while htey are vulnerable and not fortified on the plains. -----------------------

Unfortuently, a small fire in 5th Platoons AT-AT has badly injured Captain Japer.
He is suffering major burns to the legs and arms, and I have deemed him unfit to continue his command for the time being. He has been airlifted out and is now resting in a field hospital at 15th Brigade HQ.
I am placing 5th Platoon under the command of 2nd Lieutenant Swomz. He now controls both 5th and 6th Platoons. However, I place 3rd Company (Captain Japers) under the command of Lt. Colonel Cosmic.
This means that Swomz commands both Platoons, but is under the general orders of Cosmic.
OOC: Basically, Japer has gone on leave for an indefinite length of time, so we have to fill the gap. If you're confused, ask a question in the Commanders Tent - that seems a good place. -----------------------

Sorry for my absence. I got a cold just a few days ago, and it really shoved me to the ground. I am getting better though, so I can resume my duties.
Now, if memory serves, I have to submit my decision to Major General Jalanus by tomorrow (sunday), so that means I'm going to be looking at the map very careufully and deciding what the best course of action is.
I am typically an aggressive type, but right now I want to stay on the defensive and not go on the offensive. We don't know how many Cleoggi are in the forest, and we can't just concentrate our forces just on the forest area. There could be more Cleoggi coming from directly south of us. -----------------------

My decision for unit-relocation is as such:
1) Move 5th Platoon North (up) one square.
2) Move 1st Platoon South-East (down 1 square and to the right 1 square)
3) Place 2nd Platoon in a fortified position.
4) Keep 6th Platoon in fortified position.
Decision has been encrypted and submitted to Major General Jalanus. -----------------------

**********NEW PLAN**********
Colonel TJ's forces are under heavy attack with many of his units lost. We were smart to go on the defensive, and we lost 0 units with no attacks on us as well. However, our orders are to retreat. I do fear for TJ's remaining units, however, so here's the new plan:
We have a good amount of forces to spare, and I want to make sure that Colonel TJ's units are not totally wiped out altogether. My plan is to send 1st Platoon and 6th Platoon to help cover TJ's forces while he makes his escape. Yes, they may be destroyed, but at least more of TJ's units will have escaped. There are also a lot of Cleoggi next to our Forces as well to the south west. My plan there is to retreat as fast as we can to the river crossing. Hopefully we'll be able to take care of ourselves until Pioneer Batallion arrives.
This is an emergancy here, so I want to see some opinions and thoughts immediately.

My plan is to not sacrifice 1st and 6th platoon. I just merely want to provide cover-fire for the Southern Front's forces. 6th Platoon is a heavy mech, and can provide a lot of firepower while still having strong armor.
There is an upside to this. Even if we do lose those two units, you will be able to get more units, and stronger ones at that. Perhaps more AT-ATs or AT-PTs.
More ideas. Keep them coming. -----------------------

Ok. Welcome back folks. It's back to the drawing board.
I have recently viewed the satellite images that were sent to me by Major General Jalanus, and I have also read the latest reports.
6th Platoon took a heavy beating, but I'm sure they helped to save a few lives out there. Considering that the Southern forces are doing well with their retreat, I am suggesting that we go on the full-retreat ourselves. We'll start sending all of our forces towards the river crossing.
Now, there is that wide-open Eastern flank to take into consideration. We'll have to send some of our unharmed units towards that flank to prevent our forces from being surrounded and overwhelmed.

We could send 2nd platoon to straddle the southern front to ensure that no enemies move from the eastern front through the open areas in southern front to hit us. -----------------------

We got to get our troopers out first.
The AT-STs while one is damaged still have a movement advantage over all other units and can escape easily to the river without airlift for now.
I recommend airlifting the platoon with the AT-AT and trooper and one of the stormtrooper platoons first. -----------------------

The point right now is to move back. The question is who we want to move back. I do agree on getting our artillery and platoons out of there, but now is the time to decide who should actually be airlifted, who should walk, and who should head over to the eastern front for defense.
6th Platoon (AT-AT) is critically damage. I don't know if we could salvage it at this point, but we must try and pull it back immediately. We could send two of our unharmed platoons to the eastern front for defense.

Japer, read the Turn 3 post. It'll have pictures and statements of our current situation. You can then bring forth your ideas on what to do.
Basically: 6th Platoon is heavily wounded.
The Cleoggi are building up in numbers.
East Front is wide open, and we must send some units over there to avoid being surrounded.
We must head back to the River Crossing and wait for Pioneer Batallion (Major General Jalanus's forces) to arrive. They will be coming around Turn (day) 4.
Right now, we're on the retreat. We have no units to spare for combat. We sent two platoons to provide cover for the Southern Front's forces, but they're on a good-paced retreat, so we can start getting our men out of there. -----------------------
