Sk8 charged right at the enemy lines. The beasts weren’t really a threat to his STAP, the mostly used their claws as weapons, although a select few had blasters and other sorts of weapons. Sk8 deduced that those were the cavalry of the group and the unarmed ones were regular infantry. As sk8 made his initial charge through the line he fired his STAP’s dual laser cannons as fast as his Jedi reflexes could pull the trigger. Smoke and fire appeared wherever the deadly red bursts touched. As he approached the line, he could smell the burning flesh and wood from his attack. The trees around him were burning and smoked filled the air, making it hard to breathe, but sk8 merely pushed on through the lines. After he cleared the smoke and chaos of the scene, he circled back around to engage the enemy formation from behind. Once again he razed the line of attackers with laser fire, creating destruction and death to the oncoming threat to survival. Once again, the only resistant fire he encountered was from the cavalry, which were poorly aimed and would never hit him. Just as the STAP was breaking the line, it was suddenly jerked to a halt; but sk8 didn’t. His body went flying forward, but as he realized the situation, he rolled his body up and hit the ground rolling. After he completed a couple rolls, he sprang out of that position, lightsaber in hand and ready. He was fully attuned to the Force during this ordeal and was able to use it to his advantage. Heavily scaled attackers raced towards him, as he ignited his blade and ran back towards his STAP’s position on the ground. As the first attacker reached sk8, he engaged with his lightsaber, making short work of the beast, but was soon confronted by another and became too occupied to recover his downed STAP, not that he needed it too badly. Meanwhile, a small creature reached the STAP and up righted it and mounted it. It fumbled around dumbfoundly, apparently uneducated in the ways of technology, but it soon had the STAP floating in the air and then soon after racing of moving into the surrounding jungle. Sk8 could sense the loss of his STAP and began to way the odds as the attackers continued to pour out of the jungle. Fortunately there was a loud crash and the sound of metal scrapping rock, which sk8 assumed to be his STAP being knocked from the sky. Making an opening to retreat, he sliced wildly in a 360° finishing the move with a mental push, clearing an opening of attackers so he could make a mad dash toward his downed speeder. He used the anxiety and fear of defeat to push his run to speeds in which his attackers couldn’t pursue. As he approached some of his foes he pushed away, he randomly sliced them as he ran by. Finally he reached the clearing where his STAP lay, smoking on the ground. Nearby was the body of the suspect who tried to stay aboard while he executed a turn. Sk8 smiled at his luck, but knew it was all the Force. As he approached the smoking craft, he scanned it to see if it was still fully functionally, both mentally and physically. It would last him a ride back to the base, but it would need repairs before its next battle. He mounted the machine and brought it up into the air. As his enemies finally caught up to him, he raced over their heads and back toward the Judicator.

LoneWolf drew a line of fire with his repeater. Still they did not stop. a sudden click of trigger with no more burst was found on his finger. With no time to curse LoneWolf quickly drew his neubian blaster and began firing at the surrounding force. He had already gone through his stockpile of repeater ammo and now found himself burried behind the advancing line. No matter where he turned, where he looked there was a hungry alien waiting; and a blaster bolt going to it. LoneWolf found that his barely drawn line was almost to the end of the front when his blaster ran out. It almost hit the ground before his familiar blue haze came out. He quickly jumped up over to the front of the line, having to block a few friendly shots that came at him from his side. after safely or effectively deflecting them, LoneWolf finally found the safe side of the slowly retreating line. He had almost forgotten about his grenades. In a move of one hand he dumped a load of five in front of the line. He then grinned as he used the force to arm them one by one, still keeping a grip on them so they wouldn't go boom too soon. Both lines moved almost leaving LoneWolf in the middle of the cross fire except for a few brave soldiers that surrounded him, yelling to move back. He didn't hear them. His eyes shot open just as a grenade went flying through the force to a group of enemies. It exploded on impact, and with it several more flew out to greet other groups of enemies. LoneWolf's grin widened as a series of explosions shook the enemy line taking a significant amount of enemies with it. Behind LoneWolf now stood a AT-PT giving an encouraging cover fire. The cannons continued blaring out constant fire, too much fire. LoneWolf's distraction was cut off from the pilot of the walker as he jumped out yelling, "It's gonna blow!" The walker bursted into flames, while giving the surprised LoneWolf a brilliant idea. "Thats It!" LoneWolf pulled the saftey on one more grenade in his bag then flung the bag carelessly into the growing enemy line. He now ran to the doom VSD, lightsaber in hand, and a burning idea that could buy them more time in the wilderness.

Art dived against the wall and ordered his men to do the same as another flight of fighters raced down the passageway. "God dammit they are probably after Darkhawk.  Either he didnt get the message or he is deliberately violating orders!"  Art exclaimed.  The men slowly climbed to their feet and began to march on.  A light in the distance was growing stronger, they had almost reached the hanger. "Get your guns loaded and ready, we may need them asap."  Art ordered as he stepped into the light and noticed they were at the top entrance to a very large hanger.  "Damn, we need to find an elevator to get down to the friggin main level."  Art cursed as he began searching for a panel. "Over here sir."  Corran shouted.  There was a doorway carved into the passage, it contained a small elevator and a supply room full of fire gear. "Alright lets get going.  Corran and I will go down first and secure the area below, the rest of you follow when you get the signal.  I will place my machine gun on the elevator and send it up to you."  Art stated as he got into the elevator with Corran.  "I want the gun back by the way."  He added sarcasticaly as the door closed.

LoneWolf finished slicing through an alien, not having time to watch it fall. All the imperial forces were beging to get mobilized to a retreat. LoneWolf hoped to make sure no one would fallow. he ran through the shattered, and deserted halls of the downed ship. There was noises all around, hauntings all about, fear around every turn and corner. "To fear is to merely lived" He mused as he confidently walked down the halls, perhaps too calm. The force flooded his every sense. It didn't became long until he came to his destination. To his surprise it was occupied. "Get out of here!" LoneWolf growled dragging out the last word. The alien looked up and flashed his fangs, "I think not!" LoneWolf glared at him horrified, "Impossible!" the monster jumped up and slashed at his unprotected shoulder. LoneWolf's saber clanked on the floor in utter pain. LoneWolf could only merely drop to his knees to then plan his next move. LoneWolf found himself in the air, levetated by a powerful grasp on his neck. "My entire life has been ruined by you and your kind Imperial!" Lonewolf's body flapped around at the word. "You will die on this place, and shall become a mere payment of your crimes, the begging to a long line that you have done to us!" "Why?" The alien crooked an eye, "for making me this way!" LoneWolf looked back horrified then made his move, the saber found his left hand, then ignited into his enemies gut. for the alien he was, little armor could be found on him. he merely stared back almost surprised. No words come out but blood. LoneWolf found his footing once again, "I didn't make this crime, but i will find out for my curiosity sake, but first some important buisness." LoneWolf found the controls, and continued the work the rather stupid alien was trying todo. "Must of been an einstein for his species, not very bright." LoneWolf finally found the final commands and started the engine up with no outlets. An over heat would ocur in a half hour, LoneWolf could only hope that would be enough to get out.

WEll apparently this story has lost it's luster. I vote for a new one. Now that i think about it, this one never was really popular anyway. Nice try Art and Warmaker, but I guess people just like to fly and be unoriginal.

That is unfortunately very true LW and Sk8 its to bad ppl here are way too lazy to bother with an important and fun part of VE as for me im out of ideas for this until some of my squad mates post...its hard writing it on my own and not as fun

Rusty, who had himself locked in his private quarters, finally realized that the ship was going down and grabbed his backpack that didn’t have much in the way of survival gear. His Pilot suit that he didn’t have the time to fit into (he thought it was a bit small anyway, the suits weren’t really designed for a wookie), some junk food, and of course, a few bottles of Corellian Whiskey. Quick to react he burst out of his room, Ryyk blade at hand for any uninvited attacks by the strange creatures. The VSD creaked an agonizing sound, Rusty roared in rage. He wasn’t happy at all about how this had gone. He had wondered what they had gotten themselves into when they decided to inspect the unknown regions. There was too little information about the land for this wookie to just barge in, but he also wouldn’t turn down some good star fighting. Rusty rushed to the hangar, hopped into his TIE advanced and rushed outta that VSD as fast as he could. He thought that he may have caught a glimpse of Sk8 as he burst out of the hangar. His T/A was in bad condition…after that first burst out of the VSD, he drifted. Rusty just hoped that Aegis could find him or that he would find a way to fix this. That wasn’t about to happen…after about a half an hour of drifting, Rusty’s T/A started to plummet. He fell, hurtling towards a planet unknown to him, scruntched up in his enlarged TIE Advanced. Almost…there…the wookie waited in anticipation, then… BOOM! He made contact with the planet. Rusty lay unconscious…hopefully someone would find him…
