Since the dissension is rumbling once again from those who can't do anything but eat and drink this stuff, I think it's high time to see who is and isn't doing their job.
So....here we go with an AWOL check. I'll be sending an email to all relevant squad leaders within the day. This will probably result in a couple of non-responders. Which is part of the learning curve. In that instance, someone will be designated as assistant squad leader (the whole chain of command thingy) either by previous choice or by my or Stormtrooper 1026's (depending on platoon) decision. This choice, if it falls to us, will be factored on length of service as well as things like recent activity. I want to give the SLs a week to get this AWOL request out and to their troops.
The idea in short is this. Make sure your roster is up to date. Send AWOL notices to you troops. By next Friday, October 5th, I want to know who is active, who has a valid reason not to be, and who is dead weight.
It's a volunteer army of sorts. We can only find the problems when we go out and look for them. Use the chain of command when you see a problem instead of me and others having to learn of it third hand and we'll likely get faster and better results. -----------------------

Pleaze do it exactly like Fury wrote - you are not a traitor if you tell us the names of some Troops you KNOW they havent care about VE things for months. It is important that you E-Mail Fury or me if (for example) your Squad Leader doesnt answer you.
