Why do we have so many message boards? Half of which are already hardly ever being used?

We have them each for a purpose, have you ever really looked at the writing under the name of each comnet?

Heh, I agree with you. For one thing, the Army 'Welcome' email message board doesn't ever get used. Every new recruit has posted on the Main ComNet.

One of the beauties of the present leadership plan I've seen is the forward thinking. Yeah, sure, nobody uses most of the boards yet. Does that mean they have no purpose? Instead of just adjusting to problems and needs as they arise, isn't it nice to actually seeing them pre-placed? Case in point - the Info Board here. It is not really being used at all, but Majere saw fit to ask a question that was on his mind. Which validates it's existence I would think. As for new troopers, pilots, whatnot, let's just assume there is a learning curve in that area and hope they get better info on how and where to announce their membership. It's a training issue that I'm sure our training officers and assistants can surely handle.

/me chuckles I suggest that on the Stormtrooper Academy page, instead of just having a message of: Post on ComNet with a message stating "Hi, I'm new." We should direct them to the Army's Academy ComNet, so they know where to go instead of just having to make their own choice of where to post.
