Greetings, citizens of the Vast Empire. This is Imperial Recon Droid IM4-099 – but you can call me 'Face' – reporting live from the Belgaroth Shipyard, where the entire Vast Imperial 2nd Fleet is currently docked, making preparations to launch on a mission of great importance to the Vast Empire. The unprovoked attack on the Belgaroth Shipyard by the Imperial Dominion has sent shockwaves through the Vast Empire, and the invasion of our territory has not gone unanswered.

Take heart, good Imperial citizens, for the Vast Empire will not allow the Imperial Dominion to attack our territories and our people. Even now, the entire 2nd Vast Imperial Fleet, led by Commander Wyl Trykon, is embarking on a mission to exact vengeance from the Imperial Dominion. This will be no lightning raid or a hit-and-fade attack, the 2nd Fleet is preparing for an all-out war against forces of the dominion.

Commander Wyl Trykon, newly promoted to command of the 2nd Fleet, released a public statement earlier today.:

“For years, the Vast Empire's Navy has clashed with the military of the Imperial Dominion - a rogue faction of ex-Imperials led by a tyrannical, autocratic government embodying the worst aspects of the Palpatine regime. Last year, the cowardly leaders of the Dominion began a coordinated campaign of terrorists attacks on Vast Imperial citizens and military personnel, and since then we have struck back, savagely. Today, at long last, we will bring the fight to the Dominion's home space. And the Fleet will not return until we have removed this threat, once and for all."

The newly reorganised 2nd Fleet will undergo their trial by fire as they engage this detestable enemy of the Vast Empire. Trykon appeared to be confident in the success of the fleet, and they have been training hard for the struggle ahead. Though newly re-formed, and the Imperial Propaganda department has informed me that I am completely confident that the operation will reach a successful conclusion.
