Calender functionality

How hard would this be?

If we could have events set up by users that would be brilliant.

If we could have events tied to individual users manually or by group that would be excellent. (e.g. army members see an event labelled "Army reports due today" for a particular date. Or members X, Y, and Z are invited to a private event)

If we could have events that could send messages to users through the comnet PM system or via email that would be even better!

This would be great for SWTOR use in particular, and also for setting up our fairly irregular meeting schedules!

Seconded. Particularly the example of reports: automated reminders for people would be a godsend. Or a Kadannsend, as the case may be.

Agreed. If we could also get the notifications sent by email as well? There's a suggestion just a bit further down in the suggestion box that said we should have that functionality for PM's too. And I think it's a great idea. Especially if someone's gone AWOL.

Couldn't this be setup as a Google calendar? If I recall, it can be shared, send notifications, and the like. Granted it would come down to people adding the calendar on their own part, but domain wise I'm sure something could be setup to post a notification on the News feed on the domain.
