Try this on for size JMac thoguht as he got a targeting lock. Twin columns of death slammed into the enemy ugly, shattering it's hull in a brilliant fireball. JMac spun around to avoid another shiop that was firing on him and was thrown to the side of his TIE when his inertial compensator failed completely. Black spots danced in his vision, and only by using his abilities and throwing himself fully into the dark side was JMac able to remain concious.
"Stang, this isn't good", JMac muttered as he pulled into another turn in an attempt to get them pirate off of his tail. Without his inertial compenstor there was no way he could keep manuevering like this. In order to repair it he would have to stop manuevering completely, leaving himself wide open to attack.
In desperation, Jmac dropped his sheilds and fed everything he had into acceleration. His ship show away from the battle, pushing JMac back into his seat. Behind him,an enemy fighter got on his tail and tried to catch him, but With everything going into his engines the distance between them ekpt increasing. As his inertia equalized and he was able to move again, he popped his panel and got to work. -----------------------

Liquid quickly shoved hisself to one side of his cockpit, hoping to jar it a little so that he could push a little more into the turn he was making. "CRAP!" Liquid shouted, as the scum pilot behind him knocked out his shield generators. without thinking, Liquid immediately shoved full reverse throttle and got behind the stupid pirate. "Looky looky, i've got cooky" shouted Liquid, recognizing the craft he was shooting at.
Liquid fired 3 more bursts, and the universe had to deal with one less piece of pirate scum. Liquid then quickly turned around to help his fellow crewmates, who seemed like they weren't having any trouble at all, so Liquid went towards what looked like the enemy ship's command ship. -----------------------

"GO, head for the disabled cruiser." Sk8 shouted to he repair shuttle. He received an acknowledgement and watched as the shutttle vectored twoa he first disabled cruiser. Behind him JMac was heading towards the bulk cruiser. IT was obivously the command ship for the pirates.
Looking around and seeing no more fighters to kill, sk8 commed up his squadron, "Go after the bulk cruiser Aegis. Try and take it down." He noticed on his scanners that most of Aegis had already headed for the cruiser anyway.
A single smile crossed his face; that capital ship didn't stand a chance against the TIE Advanced hurtling towards it. Aegis would have the ship either retreating or dead in no time. As he drew nearer to the vessel, he armed his missiles and set them for dual fire.
The bulk cruiser grew in his viewport and a lock tone whaled through his cockpit. His targeting computer had aquired a lock and so sk8 fired wo missies, followed by two more and so forth till his chambers were empty. He watched as the orange deadly lances sreaked toward their target, promising death.

The Frigate Malevolent came out from hiding in hyperspace. "Welcome to the party Malevolent we reserved your spot." LoneWolf sarcasitcally announced. The two Carrack cruisers which were in need of thier help lay only 20 clicks away from thier scrap yard. pieces from the command bulk cruiser were spread out like a paste. the frigate shot shards wich seemed too close for comfort. "looks like we'll get to the carracks first Malevolent. We'll make sure thier asleep and secure for you." Sk8guy recommended over the comm. The Malevolent responded with a young female voice, "Go ahead Aegis if we run into trouble we'll give you a call. we should be there in a few minutes." Sk8 chuckled evily, "Gotcha lets move it Aegis!"
the T/A's arrived at the two ghostly Imperial ships. lights were out all over the ship. "I dunno do you guys read any life or power signs on board?" LW shallowly said, "Cuz I'm picking up nothing on the first one." LoneWolf's eyes scaned the surface randomly and noticed a fault. "Aegis 5 here, Sk8 the loading clamps have explosives on them. how do you think we should get them off?" Sk8 shot back, "What do you mean explosives! i dont pick up anything!" "Do a visual on the underside of the clamps." LoneWolf gasped then spoke simplistically, "You see that tiny red light... the one thats bleeping ever second or so." LoneWolf searched frantically through the control panel in front of him, then switched his headlamps on. the floodlights innocently hit the clamp and revealed a cleverly set trap of charges scatered randomly on the clamp where the Malevolent would have to dock. "There We go! uuuhhh its better set then i thought." sk8's breathing was echoed over the comm then he said, "We got one of several things todo... spacewalk to it or dock on the top and go through the interior of the ship. or we could hope it doesnt wipe out that much and shoot the explosives off." "I think the Malevolent will have some tools to help with that. but then again we need to get out of here quick. disarming charges couldn't be that hard could it?" LoneWolf gasped at looking at the trap again. "This is gonna be interesting" LW said to himself, "Very interesting." -----------------------
