This summer has been a great one for the Vast Imperial Navy. The main part of our activity for the summer has been the two Taskforce level stories: Besh's Snatch & Grab and Aurek's Veni Vidi Vici. Both were a huge success, running surprisingly smoothly and with activity rates we rarely see during the summer. As a result, there are a few things I'd like to bring before the club as a whole to highlight our members' accomplishments. First, the overall statistics for the two stories combined:

Second, I would like to publicly list the awards our members received for their efforts. These promotions and awards take into account not only posting on the official unit stories, but posting for Certs & Skills, PPC work, wiki work (including now 5 years finished on the Naval Timeline project, which lists every official Naval story in each year), and other miscellaneous things.

1st Lieutenant Slasher is promoted to Lieutenant Commander.

Warrant Officer 2nd Class Trykon is hereby promoted to Warrant Officer 1st Class, and awarded the Distinguished Service Medal

Ensign Romanflame has been awarded the Combat Action Ribbon

Senior Chief Petty Officer Avalar is hereby promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer, and awarded the Star of Valor for "Taking command of Regents Squadron under less than ideal circumstances, and leading the squadron well during the course of both a difficult story, and a difficult time for activity in the Navy as a whole."

Petty Officer 2nd Class Dunny is hereby promoted to Petty Officer First Class, and awarded the Merit Cross 1st Class

Senior Crewman Furthing is hereby promoted to Petty Officer Second Class and awarded the Combat Action Ribbon

Senior Crewman Norsedragoon is hereby promoted to Petty Officer Second Class and awarded the Merit Cross 2nd Class

Senior Crewman Echelon is hereby promoted to Petty Officer Second Class and awarded the Combat Action Ribbon

Captain Bacredi is hereby awarded the Victory Cross for his contributions to the story and quality writing. (I don't think you have this one yet but, if you do, simply consider it an upgrade.)

Master Chief Petty Officer DeepSix is promoted to Warrant Officer 2nd Class and is awarded the Cross of Bravery for his leadership in Nightshrike.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Fyston is promoted to Petty Officer 1st Class and is awarded the Combat Action Ribbon.

Senior Crewman Serpent is promoted to Petty Officer 2nd Class for overall activity.

This final one isn't so much for this story as it is for the high degree of activity and enthusiasm this member has shown, as well as his considerable assistance to me in the Naval Timeline project:

Senior Crewman TosthAaaisar is promoted to Petty Officer 1st Class and is awarded the Victory Cross and the Naval Achievement Ribbon.
