mIRC Troubles

Usually when I start mIRC it says "You have past your evaluation period. Register Now!" so I click continue. Then it says something else and I click continue. Sometimes when I come to the second message it will say "Exit", but I usually restart mIRC and it'll work.
This time, it says "Exit" every time, and I can't get past it. Grrr. And Pirch isn't working either.

No. mIRC seems to have finally realized that people have done what you did and figured out how to stop that.

I don't know why it works for some people still and not for others, but I had the same thing happen to me that happened to Echelon. It kind of reminds me of facebook updates: some people get it before others do. So it might just be we were the unlucky couple who had this happen. I prefer using Mibbit, but another option is the vanilla java chat you can find on the main page.

I've always just used the java chat accessible through the main page, though there's a annoying series of "yes" and "no" clicks that you have to do correctly (at least on my computer) to connect. If you must use mIRC, go to a site an download an older version that would not have the new registration issue - one that has the "Click Continue" loophole.
