As a proud and happy member of the VE, and especially as the XNT, I too really want to see our ranks grow.  I don't have the authority or means to grant awards, promotions, or IC rewards, but I will offer my experience as a copywriter/copy editor to folks who bring in new members.

To be clear: if you bring a new member to the Navy, and he/she makes it though basic training and flight school and makes a post to a story involving their first Squadron, I will help you rework/clean-up your wiki page, or work with you one-on-one on a story post as your personal editor.  This is in addition to the incentive program StOrMz outlined above.

Let's get more people in on the fun!

Since apparently everyone's pitching in somehow... I'll personally match any monetary rewards offered to those recruiters.

I will furthermore award 1,000,000 ICs to any and all recruits that manage to impress me during Flight School. In other words i'll be looking at their bios and any posts they make whilst part of Raptor Squadron. I believe that by doing this new members will not only have some small incentive to stick around but rather to also strive for higher quality as well.

And because keeping old members around is just as (if not more so) important than gaining new ones i will further still raise the stakes: 10,000,000 ICs each month to the Navy member whom i believe best managed to demonstrate "valorous deeds, dedicated services and excessive activity". This will in truth be graded based on general activity, IC and OOC accomplishments, number of posts, length of posts and most importantly quality of said posts. Because i believe that a little healthy competition can be worthwhile there will be a second place as well, worth 5,000,000 ICs and a third worth 2,500,000 ICs. This will hopefully further interest even those members who do not care about the monetary gains and who would perhaps merely wish to be known as "elite" or even "the best".

Didn't know it was tried before. Still, these things can change over time so at the very least trying it again can't really hurt in any way.

Besides, HC members are still only human. There's not much they can do that anyone else can't, other than maybe influence promotions and awards to an even greater degree. That and solve greater issues, but then again chances are new recruits wouldn't really now about such issues however. I've been around for a while now and can't really complain about anything affecting the club as a whole...

'Sides, there are quite a few pragmatic individuals out there that simply happen to care more about what we can do for them right now rather than what we might be able to do for them sometimes in the uncertain future.
