=====Un-named Snowy Moon=====
The howling wind rushing over the valley of the moon Stewart-Power was on, not only threatened to knock the Mon Calamari over, but also put out the fire that he was silently creeping towards. Looking down precariously from the valley above, through his macrobinoculars he spotted four figures by the fire itself. Two more humanoids were pacing in a loose perimeter around the fire. He could then spot four other beings in various stages of being cold among the camp itself.

The camp was a simple collection of low-tech tents centred around a dug-out fire-pit. Thel could only guess the reason for the lack of any discernible technology was in order to hide from something observing the barren rock he was on. The men themselves looked like either vigilantes or mercenaries, but it didn't matter to the Warrant Officer what they were; only what it was they had in their main tent. It was rumoured that they held maps of at least one New Republic outposts in Vast Empire space. Although slightly perturbed that the Naval Command had decided to send him alone, he wasn't surprised. After all, he had volunteered to go on the mission. As well, it was only a rumour that command was chasing, but they were taking no chances. Therefore, Thel was there leaning of the edge of a valley, the winds buffeting him from the side. This is going to be fun... He said to himself.

At that moment, the only thing that concerned the slightly chilled Mon Cal; was how to get down. Down from the valley and into the camp without being noticed. Although the wind would muffle any sounds he made, it also made the precarious footing even more so on the steep ledge he wan lying on. In front of him, or rather below, was something that more resembled a cliff, than it did the edge of a valley. Along the valley itself, perpendicular to Thel, was a gentle rolling hill, stooping to its lowest point about where the, supposedly rebel, camp was. On the other side, directly across from Thel, was another steep cliff like face.

Though the safest path was to skirt along-side the ledge to the hill and sneak up along side the wall to the camp, the Imperial didn't want to risk the winds changing, as it had already done so twice, just while he had been doing his reconnaissance. Thel decided that the fastest, and admittedly the most foolhardy and brash, way was the best for the situation.

A shallow natural staircase-like outcropping snaked down from Thel's position. After seeing it, Thel promptly opted not to use it, and jumped off his position instead. As he fell, he prayed to whatever Force may be for something to break his fall, without breaking him. His thought however was interrupted as he hit the ground and started rolling, no longer under his own power. He came to a rough start at the bottom of the hill, only to realize that the wind had died down completely. Well then, time is of the essence. he thought to himself, as he lay on the ground.

From his, more comfortable, horizontal position he examined the hill he had just come tumbling down unceremoniously. By jumping he had skipped the first three metres of rock, and landed somewhere on the rest of the seven metres of very short grass. Hm, convenient he ventured to himself, as with his left eye stalk he purveyed the camp beside, and slightly below him.

For a moment he was glad of it being a very cold temperature, as his extra padding had helped cushion him from the fall. He was actually glad that this group of probably mercenaries had chosen to set up camp in the only non-snow covered belt on the moon. After that moment, the thought had passed though, and he crept into the camp.

Moving silently past the closest pairs on tents, he heard what sounded like whimpering from the immediate left of him. If his memory has served him correct, then that was one of the positions of the outer circle of guards. Thel rolled to the right, and then quickly hid behind the corner of another tent, out of sight of the guard. Risking a quick glance, the guard was huddling up in a ball, leaning against the tent, obviously extremely cold. Just then the slightly warmer Mon Cal heard a whistling from just beyond the guard. Soon another humanoid figure came into view, a heavy wool blanket slung over his shoulder. The new guard then wrapped the frozen man in the blanket, helped him to his feet, and guided him a few steps towards what looked to a tent next to the main one. Perfect, just as the guard's shifts are ending

Thel quickly stole around the tent to the right of him, and, his way now clear, slowly made his way up the corridor in between several of the tents, leading straight up to the main one. As the camp-fire entered his view, Thel hid behind the nearest tent to the main one as he could. The tents formed around the camp-fire formed a ring, some distance from the fire itself. The only tents inside of this ring was the main tent, a relatively large squarish tent you wouldn't want to sleep in, and what appeared to be the barrack, a long tent, extending from just outside the pit, to the closest tents. Thel couldn't help but think; then what are all these other tents for? But he put that thought aside for a much more important one; is anybody in the main tent?
