Operations Center, Omega Command Station, Yetton V, Yetton System, Vast Empire Space

Zhar Bacredi stood in the operations center of the Omega Command Station, flanked by the Deputy Director and the naval captain who was given charge of the station. The operations center had a large window overlooking the hangar, and all three of them were staring through it. “Sir, the ships are arriving now,” the captain said, and he pulled out his com, “open the blast doors, prepare the hangar for landing.”

Nine intelligence agents, informally known as drill instructors, walked out of the blast doors and lined themselves just off of the far wall. They were closely followed by two deputy agents each, informally known as training instructors. Two different GR-75s came through the hangar doors and then, with a satisfying hiss, they both landed and put their full weight on their braces.

The Deputy Director stood behind Bacredi as they watched the lifts come down, transporting 30 agents from each ship into the station. They all walked forward like they were instructed to, and got into a single file line by last name. Most of them were human, with a few Zabraks and Mon Cals in the line as well, and a single Twi’lek.

“Good morning, everyone,” Bacredi’s voice boomed through the intercom in the hangar, giving him more of a presence than usual. He nodded to the lead drill instructor, who pulled a box at his feet into his hands, and the rest of the instructors followed. They each set their boxes at the feet of a group of the soon-to-be agents, and then moved back to their previous positions. “Once this drill instructor blows his whistle, you will open the boxes and received a pistol which merely fires rubber bullets. The five doors behind me lead to a series of caverns which stretch deep into Yetton V, and eventually stretch into Castle Station. There are fifty of my own agents hiding in those caverns, and if you get through without a scratch then you have passed the first test.” Bacredi stepped back, “Ms. Watson, your turn.”

Janis Watson, who was an old and battered drill sergeant, walked up to the group. “The first person to reach the end of the caves without a scratch on them will be given a full meal fit of a king, everyone else will be given rationed cans of food.” Bacredi had since walked back into the turbolift and was transported up to the Operations Center.

“What troops do we have in the caves?” Bacredi asked the operations officer.

“We have 12 of the Royal Imperial Legion and 15 marines, that should be more than enough to slow them down for now.”

Fin “Hacker” Winter walked off the shuttle and went into formation and head what VENI Director said and thought to himself, so it is a game in a sense he wants to see who had enough common sense to make through an area we have no idea has in it like we are on a mission, and to maintain our guise and not run into anybody if all else fails that’s why we have the pistol for.

Hacker picked up the pistol and headed for one of the doors, his training was computers he didn’t really like the idea of them sending him to do some maze, but I suppose this is better than being in a dungeon. If this is a maze than they have multiple entrances and exits, and they will most likely have fake ones to. I wonder if I get hurt if they will let me just fade back out, and they will probably want to keep servalence on me through.

Hacker walked down a straight hallway after he had entered a door that very few of the people had entered. He started walking down the hallway after awhile he started to hear gunfire which he figured whatever was in here attacking the group. Good I don’t really care as long as it doesn’t evolve me.

He continued walking for awhile when he reached a for in the road he looked left than right and pulled a coin out of his pocketed flipped it, and it landed on heads and took off down the right corridor. He stopped walking and listened he heard the fait echo of footsteps which didn’t make him all that happy considering that he didn’t like guns and using them. He looked around as he noticed that the footsteps were getting louder, and found a break in the wall and positioned himself so that if you weren’t looking, for something you would just slip right by him. Hacker slipped back farther into the shadows just to make sure whatever was heading down the hallway didn’t see him.

He reached into the inner pockets of his coat and pulled out a knife which they had failed to find when he first got sent to the training facility for the VENI. If they were gonna play dirty so was he once the person walked past his hiding place he snuck behind him and took his knife and put it across the persons throat ready to take that person out if he decided to not help him.

“It doesn’t really matter who I am I just want to get to the next stage drop your weapon and all the mags, and go face the wall.”

The person realized the situation that he was in did as he was told this was supposed to be a safe training exercise and who ever this person was he was breaking the rules and therefore was a bigger threat than most of the trainees in here. The personal Rick Maker didn’t want to end up dead he was just supposed to be some random obstacle that the trainees had to get past now he was something more.
There are many aspects of the Force we have no knowledge of. The subject still requires further research and study.

Econd 'Blade' Stess got off the ship and did as he was told.  He did get a look down the line and saw a few other Zabraks, but not any he knew.  He was kinda glad he didn't know any of them they might have tried to do anything to make sure he didn't pass this test.  Econd grabbed his pistol and the rubber bullets.  He had no idea what to make of the pistol, so he just put it in he pocket.

He got in line for the door he picked and waited till he was allowed in.  When he was inside the cave he was reminded of some of the caves he explored while he was on Ryloth.  Blade had no idea where he was going but was hoping he make it out of here with out a scratch on him.  He heard the tell tale sign of blaster fire off in the near distant.  He decided to take another path when he came up on his first dead-end.  With the inability to determine which way he needed to go he decided to head right for the blaster fire.

Econd came up on the former battle site and figured there was someone still there.  He hid around a corner and grabbed a small rock he threw it at the far wall and listened for any movement when he figured it was safe he slowly moved on.

Behind him he heard the sound of foot steps so Econd looked up and saw that he could hold himself up there till they passed.  He quickly climbed the wall and set himself up and waited for who ever it was pass.  When he looked down he saw two people walk right underneath him he was so glad that they did not notice him.  The sound of their foot steps disappeared Blade dropped from his hiding place and stated to follow their foot prints.  He hoped they would lead him to the exit but knew that they might not.

===== Main Hangar, Omega Command Station, Yetton V, Yetton System, Vast Empire Space =====

Rane "Anti-Matter" Strom inspected his pistol somewhat disapprovingly. The weapon itself was alright enough for Strom, but it wasn't the best type of weapon for the fighting Strom preferred. Although the pistol had decent accuracy for its size, and was convenient enough to conceal if need be, it wasn't type of weapon he favoured in his fighting. Few people were around him long enough to learn, but the way he would fight if given a chance, nine times out of ten, was with a throwing weapon. Something about throwing a weapon at the enemy was still more personal then a gun, and yet more civilized then a blade. He felt it depended upon skill more-so than the best weaponry, though it didn't by any means prevent him from still getting whatever advantages he could, and he certainly didn't might getting close and melee-ing with his opponents. It is with these pugilists thoughts that he entered the door on the far-left, and entered the caves.

He crept along, staying to left side of the wall, pausing every so often to listen for sounds. He continued until he started to hear the faint outline of voices down the corridor. He noticed an extra light emitting from what he assumed was a cavern. He paused right before the opening. He padded over to a point of almost being able see into the room. There were certainly inhabitants, as Strom could hear the voices inside of hushed voices, and nearly stifled laughter. He wished for a moment that had a smoke grenade, or something to disorient and or stun them. He patted the area of his right hips sub-consciously, wishing he had brought his satchel with him. To his surprise, he had. He prepared to dig quietly among the contents for his "smokes". He quickly discovered, to his relief, that the bag contained one thing, his special Cigarra case. It could fit ten cigarras, but Strom only had the pleasure of testing that once. What he really used it for is to fit five mini-smoke grenades. While not as effective as larger smoke grenades, these were equally effective if paired with a certain element. Luckily for him, Strom knew exactly what that element was, and he was now in possession of said element: surprise.

Econd followed the foot prints down the tunnel to a rather large room.  Inside there were a rather large group of people but he didn't see any one from the line outside this cave.  So this must be one of their meeting places to rearm and regroup.  Stess heard them talking about what happened to them.

"We ambushed a small group of those trainees, and not a single one will leave without a mark on them."  one of them said.

"That is good we need to thin the heard even more though."

Blade moved away from the room to see if he could find his way out of this cave.  He was walking as low and as quietly as he could he made it passed two small alcoves with nothing inside them.  He walked passed a third alcove and inside was one of the other trainees who was knocked out cold .  Econd started to search his body for anything he could use.  All he found was the blaster pistol and his rounds.  Well you wont need this anymore. Stess thought as he grabbed them.

He could not find anything else of use so he left him and continued his journey to the exit, but decided to leave a small trail to the body so when he found the exit he could find the guy and pull him out.  The cave tunnels were very confusing turning every which way he had no idea where he was or if we was still going the right way.

Econd stumbled upon a patrol who at this point had no clue that he was behind him.  Blade quickly disarmed him and locked him in a headlock.

"Were is the exit?" Stess asked.

"I don't know I only know where the start is and my armory is."

"You don't know now do you."  Econd began to squeeze tighter.  "You better tell me where it is."

"I really don't know." He managed chocked out, "I would have told you if I knew but they did it this way so this wouldn't happen."

Blade just knocked him out and started to search his body for a map of some kind, but to no luck.  He did get another gun and some more ammo.  He grabbed the guys belt and holster and continued to try to find his way out.  Soon Econd found a large group of trainees pinned down by a group the soldiers.  Stess decided to help out this time.  He grabbed two of the blasters he had and started to shoot but nothing happened.

“Hay the safety is still on.” one of them said.

“Oh I have never used one of these how do I turn it off?” Blade said.

“Like this.” He turned his blaster so Econd could see what he was doing.

“Thanks man I might have never made it out if I had to use this.”  Econd said as he turned off the safety on both blasters.  He started to shoot down the hall at the other guys.

Peeking around the corner, Strom handled one of the smoke grenades. Counting down from three in his head, he pressed a small button on top, and threw. A thin layer of smoke formed, rising two or three feet from the floor. Strom rolled in to the room, lying prone as the trooper's grasped about in confusion, looking for their weapons.Through the fog he could make out two pairs of boots, each attached to legs, presumably attached to a trooper. He stood up quickly, at the same time flinging himself at the nearest of the two troopers. With his shoulder impacting into the troops stomach, the two went down. A quick punch to the head of the soldier, and he was out cold.

Strom quickly disengaged from the unconscious troop as he heard the remaining troop walking cautiously towards him. He fell into a crouch, and, favouring speed over stealth, rolled to he left, effectively strafing the trooper's right side. He brought out his pistol from its holster, while slowly crawling towards the trooper's flank. As soon as he was within punching distance, Strom strong the hilt of the pistol at the guard's helmeted head. I cold metallic clang later the guard fell, unconscious, to the ground.

And who heard me, I wonder?
Strom said as he cautiously walked back to the opening of the small cavern. Besides grunts of exertion, and thumps of bodies hitting the ground, there hadn't been all that much noise. Most of the sounds of the fight were covered up by the hissing of the smoke grenade. Most of the smoke had dissipating in the fifteen or so seconds of the fight, though a few wisps here or there dotted the cavern and the immediate entrance.

A few seconds later Strom learned someone had heard, as he walked around the corner to come face-to-face with another guard. Instinctive he raised his knee, and didn't need to see the reaction on the guards face to know he was in pain. The writhing figure fell to the floor, and a quick kick the head assured Strom enough that the guard would no longer be a problem. Deciding that he didn't have enough time to move the bodies, he quickly stole down the corridor.
