Well first off, some bad news (?).  With the ammount of people  that signed up for the tournament, one person is going to be left out in the cold.  And my connection has decided for me that it will be me.  I guess next time I will have to put a limit on the number of people that can sign up, so this problem won't arise again. Before I release the brackets, I'm going to post the rules again.

1) All matches will take place on the FSGS server.  Two reasons for this: One the FSGS server is a lot smaller than battle.net, a lot less people than on battle.net, and has a lot less problems finding people than battle.net (at least in my experience).  Two, it will let you guys know that the FSGS server is there, so if you actually like playing on it you can use it.  To download the connection tool goto: Net-Games Connect 4.2.  If you have any questions with this talk to Talon, TJ, or myself as we've all used it before. 2) All matches will be 1 vs 1. 3) All matches will be played on the 2 person map called: (2)Challenger.scm.  It should have come with Star Craft, but if not, please let me know and I'll send it to you.  Feel free to look over the map before the tournament starts. 4) All participants must sign up by Saturday Sept. 15th at noon Eastern. 5) Saturday Night I will randomly place the participants in their brackets, and matches will start on Sunday. 6) Match Time Limit:  All matches must take place in a week from the time that the match has been announced on the Multiplayer ComNet.  If no match score has been reported by either participant, you will need a reason for not playing the match or both people will forfeit and both people will be removed from the tournament. 7) All Match Information, and Score postings will be done on the Multiplayer ComNet.  I really don't want to hear the, "But I don't check the ComNet every second."  Tough, if you check it once everyday then you should be fine.  8) All score reporting will be reported through screen shots that are sent to an address to be given later.  If there is a descrepency between the screen shots we will go look at the replay.  So save your replays. 9) All matches will be played using original Star Craft.  NOT BROOD WARS.  Also please make sure all of you are updated to version 1.08.  If not log onto battle.net to upgrade or download the patch from: Starcraft Upgrade Page 10) All matches will be terran vs. terran.  Maybe later we'll open it up to other races, but I want to keep things as even as possible.  11) Anything goes.  If you want to use nukes, then use them.  If you want to rush 3 mins into the game, then by all means feel free.  If you want to send all your scvs in right after the match starts go for it.  12) We'll deal with disconnects on a case by case situation.

Just a quick note.... Please send all scores to me at [email protected] with StarCraft Screenshot in the subject line.  Once I get screen shots from both people involved I will post the score on this Thread.  All posts not related to this Tournament will be removed.  If you want to trash talk your opponent, do not post it on this Thread, I will remove it. Good luck to all participants.  I hope this is successful, I would like to do this again.

I request that instead of making us both forfeit, please allow TJ to advance as the winner of our match. It wasn't his fault at all that we weren't able to play. I take any and all responsibility for that. Its my fault. Don't punish him for it. Let him advance, please.
