mIRC Connection Issues

Lately I've been having on and off mIRC connection problems which for me is rather abnormal but an example is that this morning I got a connection timed out error before even connecting. Heavy Weapons Specialist

working around it? Well this wasn't the only example, previously I seldom ever timed out or broke my pipe but I noticed when my bro is on the playstation network for some reason it puts extra strain on my mIRC connection. Heavy Weapons Specialist

that could just be due to the amount of bandwidth PS3 and 360 takes up in order to get the best online gaming experience.
