How to not be an 'annoying 12 year old` -

Now i've had a lot of people coming up to me, asking me how it is that I manage to act so mature for my age, and I must say, it is quite hard.  It's taken lots of hard work, diligent practice to be the well rounded, semi-reformed person that you see before you today.  So here, let me help you guys out.  I'll start off slowly, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask them at the end of this post and I will answer them in the version updates. The first thing that you need to develope is called a "conscience".  That's right, a voice in the back of your head.  It's not just for crazy people anymore.  You know, what I'm talking about.  You have to.  It's what Jiminey Cricket played in that lovely animated film, "Pinnochio".  That thing that tells you when your parents are gonna get mad at you for setting fire to your sister's toys.  The best way that I've found, and probably the easiest way to get one is to have parents.  Yes, that's right.  Parents have a reason for existing.  Besides embaressing the hell out of you, they also help you develope a "conscience".  While this may just appear to them brainwashing you into being exactly like the, they do know from experience that it's not cool to be an annoying 12 year old.  Sometimes, but not all the time, it's best to listen to their years of wisdom.  The moment that they start patronizing you, roll your eyes, fall asleep and then walk out of the room screaming, "YOU GUYS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND ME!!!" The second thing that you have to do is more than likely the hard part.  You actually have to listen ot the damn thing.  When it speaks, consider it a god.  Let's face it, most of the people in the Greek and Roman times thought that the voice in the back of their heads was a god of some kind.  What's that, yes I know I'm getting side tracked, don't you have some fiery wrath that you could wage on someone... Anyways... Once you start listening to your conscience, you also have to learn how to talk to it.  That's right, talk to it.  But don't go around walking downtown suburbia talking out loud saying, "Conscience, should I ".  People would look at you funny and then would call the cops.  What you have to do is sit down and ask yourself, in your head, "What would someone older than 12 do in a situation like this?"  And you know what your conscience will answer you.  Pretty cool huh? Now, these things are great.  But eventually we all leave the age of 12 and go on  to being 13.  Do not, for one second, think that just because you are a year older that you can go back to being annoying.  Granted you are no longer an annoying 12 year old, but it's not what you know you are that matters.  It's what people think about you that really matters.  Don't you want to be cool?  Don't you want to be popular?  Give into peer pressure!!!!  BE WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO BE, NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO BE! Nobody likes a free thinker. Man, this one didn't come out anything like the way I wanted it to.  Oh FREAKING well.
