Razor heard the alarm buzz and rolled over in his bed slapping his hand down onto the alarm. he sat up and shook his hair from his face.  Gently, he scratched his horns before getting up and checking his data pad for messages. The message light was flashing and he saw he had a message from drill instructor Anival.

Report to the training barracks for the beginning of your heavy weapons specialist training.
--Anival--

Razor jumped into the refresher then put on his 18 piece standard issue Stormtrooper armor.  He slid his custom helmet into place and suddenly the HUD booted up.  As he got ready he thought about the Academy.  His recent mastery of basic made it sometimes hard for him to understand directions from trainers but they were more than willing to help him understand their instructions or speak to him in huttese if they knew how.

It was time to go to training so Razor grabbed his standard equipment bag threw his data pad inside and jogged off to the shuttle bay.  He rode a civilian transport ship across Tadath to get to the training barracks.  He had time before he would finally start his training to serve the Empire as a specialized soldier so he stopped by the Java stand for a cup of juice.  He sipped his juice as he wandered through the slate gray halls of the training complex until he found the Small Group Instruction room he would be trained in.

Razor took a seat in one of the hard, thin plastoid chairs and slid the desk in front of him.  He pulled out his rodian repulsor throwing razor and inspected its’ edge.  It was a nice weapon.

Recently Razor had been working on creating a disc thrower that was
magnet propelled.  He couldn't wait to use it in combat.

A few other recruits wandered in.  Three he didn’t know but the other three, Tripwire, Gun-ho, and Ryler, had all been on his first training mission with him. Then the door in the front of the room burst open and in walked Sergeant Kaygor. Kaygor was known to be a great teacher at the academy and Razor was happy to be learning under him.

In the front of the room there was a large holoscreen that flickered to life as the lights dimmed.  On the screen appeared a heavy repeating blast, its metallic curves pleasing to any who trained to be a heavy weapons specialist.

Razor listened as Kaygor described its attributes and abilities.  He explained that this gun was a troopers best friend in combat wether it be close or long ranged.  This gun had been built to accommodate the needs of every HWS because of its pinpoint accuracy and ability to be versatile in all combat situations from sniping to suppressive fire.

Razor sat listening to the lecture from Kaygor.  As he listened he realized this was the only place for him to be.

His thoughts of the amazingness of the heavy weapons specialist class had clearly put a dazed look on his face because Kaygor yelled out, "Trooper! What is this coil on the weapon called?"

"Sir, its a collant administering tube, Sir." Yelled Razor

“Well done trooper.” He said.

“The final Part of  the training today is to begin to understand support fire tactics.” Kaygor said as the lights dimmed and a holo screen appeared in the front of the room.  “support fire is probably on of the most important jobs for a HWS.  It allows friendly units to move more freely through a battlefield while forcing the unfriendlies to duck and cover.  Covering fire is the first exercise we will perform outdoors using stun rounds.  You will be facing drill sergeants and other trainees so don’t be surprised if you get hit.  If you should get hit you will decide if the wound is fatal or if you can keep fighting.  Remember the key to covering fire is not to hit the enemies its to force them to take cover.  Tomorrow we will do our covering Tactics exercise.  for tonight get a good nights rest.  Sleep is as good a weapon as any sword or blaster.”

Razor was happy with how he had performed today and could not help but feel excited for the next day as he rode home on the shuttle. He knew he was where he belonged.

Story One Fire Tactics

Razor woke at the same time he had everyday since he arrived at the academy.  His buzzer loudly ringing to wake him from a deep sleep.  He had been dreaming of his mother and father.  He could hardly remember anything outside of training.  His life on Ovorat was a glimmer of a memory.

Razor was moving a little slow this morning and it took him too long to get ready for training.  He was unable to work on his disk thrower before leaving for training class.

Razor jumped on the only running cargo shuttle at this time in the morning and rode across Tadath back to the training center.  Just like yesterday he bought his Java Juice and wandered through the halls except today he met his training class outside where the field was set to look like a military base.

There were small bunkers and large bunkers leading up to a 20 foot area of no mans land which ran right up to a wall.  There was one gate through the wall and if razor had learned anything from his training it as that he was going straight through the hardest part on the wall which would be the heavily reinforced gate.

“Alright troops form up.” shouter Shouted Drill Sergeant Kaygor “I want to be in that base in no less than fifteen minutes so listen up.  On the ground next to me are eight E-11 standard issue blaster rifles and two heavy action, two handed, heavy repeating blasters.”

“The Razor and Ryler get the heavy repeating blasters.  Everyone else grab an E-11 and get your brain buckets on.  Stun rounds can kill from close range.  Inside the base is basically a target range so prepare to shoot at all moving targets.”

Razor hefted the heavy blaster and looked over at Ryler who was also priming his weapon.  Ryler tried to look confident but he, Razor knew that Ryler like himself was feeling the weight of this mission pressing down on them.

Kaygor’s voice broke into his thoughts as he heard him yell “Move out troops!”

Razor rolled to a stop at the first line of bunkers and the bullets whizzed by.  Firing up his blaster he laid down as much fire as he could around the side of the bunker.

The lightly armed troopers including tripwire and Gung-ho charged up to the gate and quickly put down the two automated guards operating the gate turrets.

Ryler shouted “Lets move!”

Razor ran from behind his cover to the gate.  Once the whole squad was inside Razor and Ryler ordered the other troopers into a diamond form and they double timed it down the main road.

As more and more automated troops appeared their group dwindled from ten strong to five.  The other trainees taken down by well placed stun bolts.

Tripwire, Ryler, Razor, Twinblade and Divinejustice marched down the street when suddenly fifteen automated bots burst from cover.  Razor rolled left, Ryler rolled right, and the other three went high and low.  Tripwire went down and Divinejustice within the first few seconds of combat.  Ryler took a bullet to the side of the helmet and was announced to be out by his shouts for a medic.

Twinblade and Razor managed to clear the street of robo-enemies and they quickly moved into one of the civilian buildings to set up shop. Razor deployed the tripod from the bottom of the heavy blaster and Twinblade barricaded the door.

The small upstairs windows made excellent shooting ports and the two troopers rained fire down upon the trainingbots indiscriminately until all was still.

Drill Sergeant Kaygor marched up the street and the two troopers unbarricaded the door and marched out to meet him.

“Well done.  You’ve passed this level of your training by showing me that you have the ability to lend heavy weapon support to the other troopers in your squad.  You pass.”

Razor felt his joy bubble up inside him and had a warm tingle all through his body for the rest of the day.  He had passed the first part of his first field training assignment.

OOC:
Try not to use your Name to begin so many paragraphs sequentially. (Razor woke....Razor was moving....Razor jumped...) It gets repetitive. Instead use other names to describe your character (Razorsedge, the private, the young trooper, etc). Other than that, excellent job. You used great description and produced a cohesive and easily understood story. And I love how you got some character background in there too. PASS

Heavy Weapons Specialist
Level 1: Story 2

Razor was excited because todays training looked like it was going to be the best part of his training. Today, he was leaning how to fire heavy artillery weapons.

Razor wandered from room to room in his house.  He had woken up too early because of his excitement.  To calm himself he sat down in front of his mud-splattered armor.

Slowly and carefully he began cleaning his armor, gently rubbing a wet cloth over it.  Starting with the helmet he slowly worked his was down the armor to the boots.

When he finally placed his right boot back on the table his armor was finished, now cleaned and polished so it glowed.  It reflected light covering the wall in flecks of red light.

He got up and collected his things tossing them into his schoolbag.  He put his datapad, his custom writing stylus, and his favorite DC-17 into his bag then walked out the door.  He turned and punched in the lock code on the holopad by the door as its hydraulic pistons pushed it shut.

He walked out of the building where his living quarters were and over to the spaceport where he got onto one of the small, cramped cargo shuttles that would take him to the STC training buildings.

When he landed in the STC spaceport he walked quickly away from the large crowds of people and into the relative calm of the underground passageway that led to the STC training buildings.

He walked through the glowing white halls of the training barracks and into the Heavy Weapons Specialist training hall.

He gave his salutations to the members of his class and, as he was taking his seat, Drill sergeant Kaygor burst in and began today’s lesson.

“Today we will be learning how to support the friendlies using heavy artillery weapons.” announced Kaygor.  “Follow me to the shooting range.”

The class double timed it through the heavy door at the back of the large group instruction hall and into a gargantuan firing range.

Down on the far side of the range another heavy weapons specialist group was practicing their level two skills by shooting holotargets with Blastech DLT-20A laser rifles.

Razor’s attention snapped back to Kaygor as he said, “The first part of today’s training will be completed by using high explosive mortar rounds which you will be firing out of fixed level firing tubes.”

When Kaygor had finished explaining the firing mechanism and how to angle the shots he split the group into five pairs.

Kaygor pushed a button on the holopanel on the wall and a group of rebels appeared marching in loose formation down the range.

“You will fire five shots then switch places with your partner.” Kaygor called out as the troopers prepared to fire.

“Fire at will.” yelled Kaygor.

Razor was in the second group of troopers so he stood back as his partner, Lialos, began his first shot.

The heavy booms of the HE rounds was extremely pleasing to Razor and, as the shots landed, he thought, The music of war.

As the fifth boom sounded and faded Kaygor yelled, “Change it up troopers.”

Razor moved forward as Lialos reset the firing tube to zero degrees then got up.

Razor squatted next to the cannon and adjusted the firing angle to a forty-five degree angle after quickly calculating the trajectory with the equation change in potential energy is equal to the mass time gravity times the change in time.

When he believed he had the correct firing solution he fired and watched as the shell arced high in the air and landed falling short of the first trooper in the advancing line.

The shell released hundreds of tiny burning pieces of hard-round shrapnel which tore a hole in the first rank of the rebel troops.

Razor adjusted his firing angle slightly to hit deeper into the army and to account for the army’s forward advance.  He fired and this time the round landed dead center in the marching column.

He repeated the action firing, adjusting his firing angle, then firing again until Kaygor called the halt.

“Well done troopers.” said Kaygor, “Now we will be moving to our heavy support turrets.  The E-WEB and the E-WEM.

The E-WEM is a missile firing turret.  It is used to deliver the justice of the empire with hammer blows to enemy battalions.  The missiles are expensive and the E-WEM requires very little skill to operate and keep running, so naturally we will be working with the E-WEB.

E-WEB turrets operate with a large or primary coolant tank and a secondary coolant tank.  For this training we have almost emptied the primary coolant tank.  One trooper will monitor the coolant level while the other fires the turret.

When the gun begins to heat you need to switch the coolant line from the primary coolant tank to the secondary coolant tank.  If you do not the gun will overheat and explode.”

Razor knelt next to the control panel on the E-WEB turret and watched the readouts as Lialos fired the turret repeatedly down range at holorebels creeping up on their position.

All of the sudden the gun began to heat.  Razor quickly yanked the coolant cord from the main tank and saw the heat levels jump up and continue rising as he quickly plugged the cord into the secondary coolant chamber.

The heat settled back again and Razor released his held breath.  A few moments later Kaygor called for the cease fire.

“Well done troopers.  You truly are becoming valued members in the STC. We are done for today.”

Razor went home feeling accomplished and satisfied.

Level 2: Story 1: Precision Range Shooting

Razor jogged down one of the long empty trails and toward his next obstacle.  He leapt over the bunch of logs and rolled forward to feel his legs meet a low swipe from Lialos and smash into the ground

The now winded trooper rolled sideways to avoid a stomp from Lialos' foot.  He sprang up releasing a flurry of jabs to Lialos' floating rib.  Lialos doubled over and Razor brought his knee up again striking Lialos in the ribs.

Lialos lay on the ground and Razor left him and sprinted onward.  The Heavy  Weapons Specialist class was doing physical training because, as Kaygor kept reminding them, Heavy Weapons are just that, heavy.

The tired trooper quickly scrambled over the rope cargo net, feeling his hands rip open on the rough ropes.  He grabbed the wooden beam at the top of the cargo netting its rough wood cool to the touch, and pulled himself over the beam.  He saw Kaygor waiting at the line ahead of him and sprinted hard across it.

All of the class except for Lialos were waiting for him.  The class stood around and waited for Lialos who jogged up clutching at his side.

Lialos said to Kaygor, "Sorry sir, Razor got me good."

Kaygor didn't even look at Lialos as he said, "Alright, lets get back to the firing range.  Today we are doing long range firing practice."

Razor and the rest of the class jogged behind Kaygor back to the firing ranges which they had worked on yesterday.

Kaygor opened a storage container and, contained inside was a pile of A-280 laser rifles, he handed one to each trooper as he filed past.

The troopers walked forward to the large red line that marked the firing ranges firing line.  They all laid down into the prone firing position and loaded his bolt action, single shot, modified hard round A-280.

He carefully inspected the inch-long metal bullet.  Its cool metal hard and smooth in the palm of his hand.  He slowly slid it into the firing barrel and pushed the bolt forward, feeling the bolt's lock slide home.

He breathed slowly and waited.  Kaygor called up the holotroopers they would be shooting at.

Razor slowly dropped his crosshairs over the head of a trooper fifty meters down the firing range.  He breathed slowly, not allowing his body to move much. He waited until the rebel trooper had walked a few steps, aimed up and put his finger over the trigger.

He heard the other troopers firing as he carefully started squeezing down on the trigger.  Finally the gun bucked and fired.  He didn't move until, through the scope, he saw the trooper's head explode.

Kaygor called out, "Alright, two targets per trooper." He pressed a button on the command display and the number of troopers marching toward the firing line tripled.

The prone troopers quickly selected their targets and Razor picked two targets which he pinged with his laser pointer.  He loaded his first bolt into the chamber after carefully selecting two perfect bullets, he discarded three bullets before he had found two perfect bullets.

He practiced swept his gun from one target to the other sighting their center of mass each time.  He practiced the motion with reloading then practiced it one last time.

He breathed deeply slowly letting his vision narrow down onto the two faraway targets, he dropped the crosshairs over the first targets head.  He fired as he exhaled feeling the strong buck of the hard-round rifle in his hands.

He unlatched the bolt and released the spent cartridge and loaded the second as he had practiced and pointed the barrel directly at the other troopers head and fired, blasting him to bits.

The whole process had only taken him two and a half seconds and both of the troopers were down.

"Alright men, We are done for today." Announced Kaygor.

The troopers moved off the firing range and back toward their respective homes.

OOC:
Again good work Razor. Here is one thing I caught: "He loaded his first bolt into the chamber after carefully selecting two perfect bullets, he discarded three bullets before he had found two perfect bullets." Be careful with this, you have two things happening in this sentence and it really should be in two sentences maybe even swapped around. So just watch things like that when you proofread your posts. Razor carefully picked his way through the forest, moving from tree to tree.  Not thirty yards away from him, Lialos, his spotter was moving through the trees at the same pace as him.

The entire team was made up of ten people, a gunner and a spotter on each of the five teams moving at a slow and methodical pace through the dense undergrowth.

"Check in." said Kaygor who was waiting a mile back up the road at the rendezvous point.

The heavily camouflaged trooper listened quietly as Blue, Red, Green, and orange teams checked in.  "This is black team.  Within maximum targeting range of target." barked Razor into his helmet mike, "Moving closer before making camp."

Razor switched to his team com channel and whispered, "Lialos move 15 yards up then meet me in the drainage ditch next to the road."

Lialos sent a single burst of static which was their confirmation signal.

The two troopers reached the rendezvous point within moments of each other.  Razor quickly dove into the two foot deep ditch and activated his HUD gun synchronizing program.

Lialos ripped open his bag and pulled out his electrobunoculars.  He looked down the road and quietly cursed, "Oh frak, look at them."

Razor popped the caps off of his sniper rifles scope and looked straight down the road. There were no less than twenty B1 battle droids mulling around in the road with two organics buried behind them.

"Black team in position." Said Lialos as a chorus of spotters repeated his message.

"Fire pattern from left to right.  Black team start left, Red team start right. Engage when ready, black team has first shot."  Kaygor ordered from his comfy command chair.

"Target at eight hundred and fifty meters. Got it?" said Lialos.

"I see it." said Razor

"Fire when ready."

"Firing."

The kick from the rifle was easily absorbed by Razor's prone body and the armor he wore.  The round ripped the B1 droid all the way on the rights head off and, almost a second later the left side droids began to blow into pieces.

The organics dove behind cover and the B1s scrambled around confused.

"Adjust right, two degrees wind maxing out at a quarter mile add extra right to hit target." said Lialos.

"Got it."

Razor fired again, his military training keeping him cool and collected.

"Hes down. Good night.  Thanks for playing." said Lialos.

"Black team, target the Os." ordered Kaygor through the comlink.

"Target at eighty hundred and sixty meters, head is visible over the partition.  Got it?" asked Lialos.

"Got it." Razor quietly replied.

He fired away and saw the bloody explosion as the man was knocked backwards.  By the time they had taken down their three targets the other battle teams had eliminated their targets.

"Oh shit, Hes running." said Lialos

"Got him." said Razor and he fired.

The running man was blasted forward and slammed into the ground, a smoking crater in the back of his head.

"Pack it up boys, We're goin' home." said Kaygor.

The squad met in the road and quickly ran back to mission HQ.  After a short debriefing, in which Kaygor congratulated them on the success of the mission, they all returned to their respective homes.

One thing to start off with, at the top of your specs do me a favor and put in an ooc box the number and description from the wiki so I don't have to look it up pleaseandthx. I did see a few spelling errors mostly in your star warsy words that spell check would not see, watch that. Here is what I want you to work on: Details. You need to remember, Razor is in a sticky situation and even though we all know he will get out of it, don't rush to get there. Show me whats going on around him. The end of your post that had the most action ended up being mostly dialogue and it really should have been more detail on the equipment and how they are using it. I will pass but the next one you need to work on including more technical/weaponry stuff. Use wookiepedia, the wiki's are your friend PASS

Level: 3 Story: 1:Troopers will learn to make repairs to small weaponry that they have. Simple weapons like an E-11 blaster rifle are a good example. Classroom-type scenarios will be given to troopers so its ensured they have all the equipment they need for the first time around; ensuring that they know how to do it right when they have what they need. Troopers will be expected to know how to "improvise" when everything isn't given to them.

Razor jumped into the refresher then put on his comfortable civilian clothes..  He slid his custom eyepiece onto his ear and suddenly the HUD booted up.  As he got ready he thought about Blackjack Squad.
It was time to go to training so Razor grabbed his equipment bag which contained his DC-17 pistols and his datapad.

He rode a civilian transport ship across Tadath to get to the training barracks.  He had time before he would finally start his training as a specialized soldier so he stopped by the construction site near the training center and watched as a huge crane lifted tonnes of durasteel up into the sky.

After a time he walked through the huge doors into the training building and through its slate grey halls to the Large Group Instruction room.  Razor sat down and waited while the rest of the class filed in to the room. chairs and slid the desk in front of him.  Three he didn’t know but the other three, Rais, Gun-ho, and Lialos, had all been on his first training mission with him and in all his training classes since.

Then the door in the front of the room burst open and in walked Sergeant Kaygor.  In the front of the room was a table and on the table was an array of weapons from E-11 to vibroblades to light repeating blasters.  Kaygor said “Alright trainees grab a weapon that you have never used in combat before.  Every single one of these weapons has malfunctioned or is in need of repair.  A standard heavy weapons pack has been prepared for you. A weapons diagnostic interface datapad.  In battle you may have been lucky enough to be carrying a tool kit with you but most likely is that you will only have your weapons interface datapad because it is small and easily portable.  You will fix these weapons now.”

Razor grabbed a light repeating blaster, and a combat pad and trotted quickly back to his seat.  He pulled out his weapons interface and diagnostics datapad and linked it to the battery.  The battery level was at 82%.  Sufficient to last a trooper for many battles to come.

Next he linked the interface to the charge barrel and firing mechanisms.  He found they were not receiving any power.  He  out his tool kit and unscrewed part of the side panel on the blaster.

A jumble of wires fell out and Razor was suddenly lost in a field of blues, reds, greens, and yellows.  He had no idea what he was doing.  Suddenly next to him Ryler jumped up as his vibroblade began working again and was excited to be the first one finished with his repair.

Razor snickered as he turned back to the blaster knowing that he could have repaired a vibroblade much more damaged than that one in much less time.

The weapons interface datapad had a search bar and Razor quickly typed in “light repeating blaster readout.”  the search took all of 10 seconds and when it was done Razor had a map of all the wires inside the blaster.  He easily found the red-orange cord that went from the battery to the firing mechanism and, when he pulled at the wire, saw that there was indeed a break in the wire.

Quickly removing the wire that was connected to the gun diagnostics pad to the battery that powered it he wrapped the wire around the break the closed the panel on the side of the gun that allowed him to reach the wires. He rewired the Diagnostics pad and suddenly  the readouts jumped as the weapon returned to full battle-readiness.

Razor had completed the brutal task that Kaygor had set him.  He walked back up and placed the blaster in front of Kaygor who lifted it to his shoulder sighted a target on the wall and blasted it to bits with the blaster.  “Well done trooper.” He said.

Razor took his seat and watched as the others completed their repairs. One of the recruits brought the weapon up to Kaygor and when Kaygor pulled the trigger nothing happened.

“Well theres always one.” stated Kaygor sadly.  “You’ll have to come back and try again later.”

Thats when the E-11 the recruit had been repairing exploded and filled the whole room with smoke.  Kaygor was stunned. The trainee was fine as was Kaygor but this was a day they both would not soon forget.

“Get out of here.  We’re done for today.” Kaygor said as the lights dimmed and a holo screen appeared in the front of the room.

Razor was happy with how he had performed today and could not help but feel excited for the next day as he rode home on the shuttle.

Troopers will be expected to know how to "improvise" when everything isn't given to them. One final part of the course will be to show troopers how to perform regular maintenance on their equipment, and how often to do it.

Razor was seriously in the shit now.  He pressed his back hard against the metal that was slowly eroding on his back as it absorbed blaster fire.  The heat pouring off the metal orifice was almost unbearable.

Lialos fired the portable E-WEB turret they had brought with them and blasted the limey rebels they were fighting back to the demon spawned hell they came from.

A rebel threw a grenade in the direction of the training squad that was holed up a small way away from them.

Razor saw it and dove forward, tackling Lialos because he had not seen the flying grenade.

The two troopers tumbled behind cover as the grenade explode but Lialos had dropped the E-WEB which was hit with hot flying pieces of metal.

Lialos jumped out of the cover as the other pinned down troopers opened up on the rebels covering Lialos’ mad dash to get the E-WEB.

Lialos dodged between flashes of laser bolts from the enemy as he picked up them gun, turned around, and slid on the ground back into the cover.

He held up the smoking turret and said, “There goes our defensive and offensive abilities.”

Razor looked the sparks flying off of the targeting control and quickly whispered, “No look, the targeting control is only slightly offset.  if we can rebuild the connections and recalibrate it this engagement can easily still be won.

Quick, I need everyone’s ration packs. Take it in turns to put out bursts of covering fire.  I’m gonna need sometime on this one.”

Razor quickly ripped the metallic covering on his meals off as he pulled out the tweezers from his standard medkit and and threaded them through the outside of the turret.  He pulled the piece of shrapnel out of the gun being extremely careful not to cut more wires with it.

“Our ride is here.” Reported Gung-Ho as he jumped up and fired at the rebels.

We really need to get this done thought Razor as he looked down the hallway where the rebels blocked their path to their extraction point.  Razor carefully rolled the thin foil lids into a metal patch which he inserted into the hole the shrapnel had made.

The gun instantly began to thrum with power as it was restored to full operational capacity.

The now sweating trooper lifted his weapons interface datapad carefully out of his pack and attached it to the guns barrel.

The shrapnel that had shot through the guns targeting control had thrown it off by more than twenty degrees, that meant that any trooper who had been aiming correctly would have been giving the wall a new paint job.

Razor slid his fingers along the datapad with practiced ease as he perfectly realigned the sight.

“Only burst fire or you’ll burn right through the foil.” Razor said to Lialos as he handed the trooper back is prized weapon.

Lialos jumped up and blasted away, short bursts ripping through the standing rebels and pinned down the last of the enemies.  The troopers marched carefully down the hall they had been trapped in and blasted the rebels away as they passed them.

They approched the door at the end of the hall and saw the hydraulic door before them was code locked by a keypad on the wall next to the door.  Razor though, Screw this, attached a sticky grenade to the door, dove backwards and rolled behind cover as the door was thrown from its tracks.

Razor got up, calmly walked down the hall and jumped on the waiting Imperial transport.  They’re mission was over.

Razor sat up in the simulation tube and shook kaygors hand as he watched the other members of his team wake up from their trance-like simulation state and took off the simulation head piece.  “Well done trooper, you lead the team well.” said Kaygor.  “I’ll see you tomorrow for more training.”

Level 3: Story 3: Troopers are expected to demonstrate their ability to repair various forms of equipment on a battlefield. Good Examples of this are a blaster rifle, a comlink, a broken door's circuitry, etc.

They chased the man down the small alleyway, the man they had been chasing all night, the man who had shot down three of the Heavy Weapons tactical attack force.  This man was Grembry Ovacrys.

He was wanted for stealing military secrets from the Vast Empire Army on Tadath.

Razor had lead a heacy assault squad to find and kill or capture Ovacrys.  The mission had started out well with them easily finding their target in the warehouse he had hidden his escape craft in.

They had gotten into a massive blaster battle with the man's security force, during which they had lost three troopers to well placed blaster bolts.  They had chased him across the entire business district on Tadath.

The man was finally retreating into his last strong hold, a small panic room down a well concealed alley way.  Razor had had to blast through two trash compactors to get through the alleyway to the door of the safe house.

The safehouses door was built of durasteel and two minutes of blasting and one grenade duct taped to the door had barely even left a scratch on the door.

Razor looked at the lockpad as his troopers blasted away at the sealed door.  Ovacrys had shot it into oblivion, its piece hung loosely from the wall.

Razor thought hard and remembered what Kaygor had taught them about slicing into a lock terminal.  He had shown them the exact programs to run and pulled the wires out of the wall of the lock pad.

He ripped the red wire completely off of the terminal and plugged a patch cord from his datapad directly into the lock terminal.  He downloaded the pad's recent security actions.

The computer on the inside of the door told him everything he already knew.  The door had been recently opened and the password could not currently be  entered because of a recent loss of contact with the outside terminal.

Razor opened his logarithmic program and downloaded the code number.  There were twenty digits in the code.

Numbers flashed by on the screen.  They blurred and no longer were visible as individual numbers.  The first number flashed up after a minute or so.

Razor pulled the wires out of the door.  He wrapped the blue wire around the purple wire.  This would create a direct port into the inside computer.  He took out his wire strippers and stripped the plastic coating off of the outside of the red wire.

He then wrapped the red wire around the antennae of his data pad.  Then he stripped a green wire wrapping that too around the antennae.  His data pad could now work as a makeshift key pad for the large door.

"Alright troopers," said Razor, "The door will be opening in about fifteen minutes.  When that door opens two troopers high, two troopers low and one trooper dead center going through the door.  Two cut left inside, two cut right, one straight up the middle, understand?"

The troopers all nodded and sat to prepare their weapons.  Razor checked and primed his DC-15 blaster rifle.

He checked the data pad and found that it had located nineteen of the twenty numbers through the terminal it was plugged into.

He pulled out the data pad and plugged the patch cord into a second terminal on the outside of the wall terminal.  He entered the final number in the code sequence, called for the other troopers to get ready, and opened the door.

The door slid open with the speed of a flying spaceship.  Standing in the doorway was Grembry holding two concussion grenades and gripping tightly his DL-44 blaster.

The troopers entered as planned and before the man had time to react they filled him with smoking blaster holes.

"Mission accomplished," said Razor.

Level Four: Story One: Troopers will learn how and where to place heavy and squad weaponry along with artillery. As a squad's Heavy Weapons Specialist it is key to understand how weapons work on a battlefield, and the flux and change of where weapons and artillery are needed most. A suggested theme for this story is a simulated battle.

Razor sat in the hard plastoid chair uncomfortable in his normal civilian clothes.  He listened intently as Kaygor reviewed their last mission.

"You moved well as a team.  Razor that was some nice splicing work you did on those wire."

Razor listened to the report, but not completely.  He knew his team had done well, he had been there for frak's sake.  They had performed with the excellence that was to be expected of Imperial stormtroopers.

"Today is a weapons emplacement course troops.  When you see a large enemy group charging toward you your goal is to lay down as much fire as you possibly can, correct? Well what is the most efficient way to destroy an enemy group using only one E-WEB turret?  How can you properly place and E-WEB missile launcher to eliminate the most enemies at once?  I hope to teach you the answers to these questions and more.

The E-WEB was a heavy repeating blaster that was never built to be accurate. It was made to lay down large amounts of fire to reduce large amounts of enemies.  The proper placement of a single turret can turn the tide of a battle.  The proper placement of a grid of turrets can stop an entire war.

Your first goal in finding a spot for turret emplacement is to find an area that funnels your enemies troops so they have to come at you in a tightly packed group.  Forcing them to come at you close together, which will allow for more of your shots to find targets.

When you need to take down an enemy force that is the same size as you, your goal should be to force them to spread out.  They will undoubtedly attempt to flank you.  In this case it would be best to get your back up against a wall and strafe your targets with fire.

You will now face off against each other in command of simulated squads on your data pads."

Razor sat across from his opponent, Gung-ho and grinned widely at him.  Razor never lost a war game.

The two troopers began moments later as Kaygor activated the game.  Razor's men were in an open field a long way away from Gung-ho's men.

Razor commanded his troops to run back away toward a cliff that was behind them.  A large stone slide had created a small crevice that would allow troops to approach from the front only without climbing the cliff face.  Razor's small squad set up shop in that ravine, putting two E-WEB gunners in place where they could fill the air in the crevice with blaster bolts.

Razor had his troops run to the top of the ravine and lay anti-personnel mines where Gung-ho's men would have to cross if they decided to scale the cliff face.  The move stripped Razor of the last of his available resources, so he was running on prayers and an empty tank.

The enemy troops marched into sight, double timing it across the plane.

Razor sent one of his scouts out of the ravine where he laid down on the ground and fired repeated blasts at the enemy troops. When he had been spotted Gung-ho sent his men charging towards him.  The scout ran back into the ravine at a full sprint.

Gung-ho's men had taken the bait.  They charged straight into Razor's turret emplacement and were mowed down.  The troopers finished cleaning up and when there were no more troopers left Razor had his men perform a taunting dance just for Gung-ho.

Then an explosion caused Razor's data pad to vibrate violently.  Gung-ho's troops had tread directly upon the mines Razor had spent all his money on.  It took him but a moment to walk his troops up the hill and clean up what was left in the carnage.  The battle was over, Razor had won.

"Well done, Razor you pass.  Gung-ho you need to do it again." said Kaygor.

Razor left grinning smugly.  As he had said,  he NEVER lost a war game.

Level 4: Story 2: Troopers will learn how to properly use two weapons at once on the battlefield. As in the previous course, there is a variety of ways to hold a two-weapon combination depending on the desired effect. By the end of the course, troopers will be expected to demonstrate their proficiency in handling both single and double weapon combinations.

Razor rolled sideways through the door blasting away the first target he saw then hitting the second.  None of these dummies could even get off a blaster bolt.  He rained fire down on each one of them.

The clock on the wall told him that he had exceeded the time limit on this course by two seconds.  His completion of the course was good but for some reason he was unable to hit all the targets within the allotted time limit.

Razor had run the course five times and still he couldn't seem to beat the record time.  The record time had been set by another heavy weapons specialist trooper in training.

His drill instructor had watched him perform well during all his attempts to beat the record time.  The only problem Razor was having was that if he even missed one targeting dummy it added a second onto his time for him to retarget the dummy.

Kaygor stood at ease on the side of the firing range's special testing building.

"I know why you are failing." said Kaygor quietly as Razor walked over to him and stood there.  His mentor stared at the house, not enabling Razor by making eye contact.

"Sir?" said Razor honestly wondering what his problem was.  He had his two custom DC-15S blaster pistols strapped to his back.  Every time  he ran the course he would switch weapons and reload.  He could never seem to run the course faster tan the record time.

"Do you know why I brought you here?" asked the resplendent Drill Instructor.

"To beat the course record, sir?  Your opposite in the Heavy weapons specialist training squad leaders had one of their pupils set the high record last week." asked Razor with a hint of black humor.

"No trooper. I brought you here to teach you about wielding a weapon in both hands.  That is to say, firing two pistols at the same time."

"I see sir."

"That is why i have had you train with your vibroblade in your left hand for the pat couple of weeks, to increase your left-handed dexterity.  You will shoot all targets now using both guns to kill all of the targets in that room.  Is that understood?"

"Understood sir.  I will do my best to annihilate that record."

"The secret to the ability of firing your two guns at once is to think in two directions at once.  You missed some of your targets while only firing with one gun so you had to retarget and fire again.  With two guns you have the ability to throw out twice as many shots at one target.  Also you can target two guns at one time."

The intrepid trooper lined up next to the door again and this time held a DC-15S in each hand.

He kicked in the thin wooden door and rolled forward firing left and right at the dummies that sprang from holes in the ground.  The dummies were made of wood and plastic.  There roughly humanoid forms were oddly lifelike.  As they burst from trapdoors in the ground they appeared to be filled with life.

Razor blasted left and right.  The world seemed to be in slow motion as Razor targeted the dummies individually.  He aimed both guns at some of the targets and, while one bolt would miss the other would land and destroy the target.

Razor jumped into the air and fired at the last of the dummies.  The air filled with the scent of burning cloth filled the air as Razor landed on the ground staring down at the ground.

The clock read 15.00.  Razor had beaten the previous record by .36 seconds.

"Well done," said Kaygor, "I fully expect to see you using your considerable wielding skills in your mission reports after your performance today."

Heavy Weapons Specialist

Level Four Story Three:Troopers will learn about the different weapons that each group uses. At this point, troopers should know most (if not all) of the Imperial Weapons; but they also need to know the various weapons that are used by the New Republic and the Corporate Sector Authority. Anyone can just pick up a gun and shoot it, but troopers need to know the type of ammunition they use as well as what kind of uses they have as far as power and range goes. This can be a fairly long course, but extremely important on missions when going up against various groups.

The tired trooper sat on his comfortable chair, his data pad resting on his lap, he had been sitting there for the past four hours studying.

The next day Razor had his weaponry exam in Heavy Weapons Specialist Class, this test would quiz him on every weapon he had encountered upon his numerous missions and some he had never seen before.

He had scrolled through his weapons list numerous times, taking time to picture each weapons every bump and crevice in his mind, then pausing and reading its description which described its ammo type, maker and the group affiliation.

He knew most of the Imperial guns. Any questions on those would be a god send. The Imperial weapons were the ones that all troopers carried or saw on a regular basis, he also had little trouble learning the few rebel guns he did not know. The rebel guns were the ones you encountered most in the field.

The group he had the most trouble remembering and learning were the weapons carried by the members of the Corporate Sector Authority military or the espos.

He sat in the same position, stopping only to relieve his bladder or to get a quick bite of food and twice he found himself falling into a stupor and took some light stims to help keep him awake while he crammed for the exam.

When he had finally built up a massive headache from staring at the tiny words on the data pad, he got up and walked into his room too tired to change or get into the refresher. His bed welcomed him with open arms.

He woke up the next morning and felt extremely refreshed after his six hours of sleep. Hurriedly, he ran to the refresher, grabbed his bag and ran off to the spaceport to catch his transport shuttle.

He arrived at the Heavy weapons specialist training and was ushered into a small silent room.

Razor sat for a few minutes enjoying the quiet as a chance to gather his thoughts. When he was meditating, Drill Sergeant Kaygor popped his head in the door.

“Hello there Private, the weapons you will be quizzed on today are in that wall cabinet over there, there are ten sheets of flimsy on the desk over there, write down everything you know about the guns in that cabinet then knock on this door, one of my assistants will let you out. You will receive your grade in the data pad message box later, good luck.”

“Thank you sir,” was Razor’s curt reply.

As the door closed Razor rushed over to the wall cabinet and opened it.  He put all the weapons out on his desk in a line, there were six of them in total.

The first weapon in the row was an FC-1 flechette launcher, which was an antipersonnel and anti-vehicle flechette launcher produced by Golan Arms. It had a large square body and the ammo was inserted though the bottom of the launching tube. Its launching mechanism was an explosive pin which, when ignited, fired the spent cartridges that were shredded inside of it flying towards the target.

The flechette launcher was affiliated with all three groups he was being quizzed on today. The Espos used it for crowd control and the Empire and New republic used it to kill each other.

The second weapon was the Model CR-24 flame rifle which was an incendiary weapon produced by Merr-Sonn Munitions. Its shiny silver outside reflected light as did the backpack the gun was connected to.  A black hose connected the gun to the backpack which carried the gas that the gun fired.

The CR-24 is a larger military version of the C-22 Flame Carbine, the CR-24 was a popular weapon among Corporate Sector forces.

The BlasTech E-17d sniper rifle was the sniper rifle that the rebel scouts and heavy support forces used. It was a heavy gun with the largest part being its barrel. The inside of the barrel was one long spiral which helped to intensify and better direct the bolts that shot from the gun. The scope had a special crosshair that, while it still had the normal properties of a crosshair, had numerous lines running up and down the crosshair to help a sniper better judge distance. It was the third weapon in Razors line.

The E-11s sniper rifle was a heavily modified version of the E-11 Blaster Rifle, which was the standard issue weapon for the Empire's Scout troopers. The E-11 Sniper rifle was the Imperial version of the Blastech E-17d sniper rifle. The E-11 sniper rifle was a weapon that Razor had sen numerous times in the field used by his comrades and the rebels who stole it from his fallen brethren.

The long black rifle had saved many lives in the numerous battles that the stormtroopers engaged in. Its grip and technology reassuring to Razor. This was the fourth weapon in line.

The fifth gun in line was the DH-17 which was an example of a typical blaster pistol, and was a standard-issue military sidearm in the Imperial Navy, the New Republic. The small black pistol was one that Razor was well acquainted with. While it wasn't the most accurate pistol it was a strong pistol that Razor enjoyed keeping in his hip holster. Its weight always seemed reassuring to him when he was on missions.

The snub rifle sat in all its matte black powerful glory. The snub rifle was like the more powerful version of the E-11. It released huge blaster bolts that ripped any opponent of the Empire's apart. The snub rifle was a great weapon.

After Razor took note of the sixth gun he felt relieved. While the test had truly tested him on his knowledge of weaponry he felt good, he felt like he had passed.

He was sitting at home when a small red light began flashing on his data pad. A simple message from Kaygor held one word, Pass.

Razor went to bed elated at his success.

Level 5

Razor tightly gripped then thin plastic handhold in the back of the small and extremely packed drop ship. He and his Heavy Weapons Specialist classmates were being inserted into a terrifically combat hot zone.

They were being inserted to liberate and ease the tension on some pinned down troopers. The drop ship swooped down lower and closer to the water they were speeding over in their dull gray ship.

The pilot turned around and said, “Drop in T-minus one minute.” Razor looked over at Garryll, his squad leader stood resplendent in his red armor, he was only along for the insertion.

Garryll calmly said, “Good Luck Trooper.”

“Thank you sir.”

The pilot broke in saying, “Drop in ten seconds, drop zone in sight.”

The slightly anxious trooper looked out the window as the scenery flashing by beneath the ship as the ocean gave way to the bright yellow sand of the beach they were being landed on.

Razor felt the reverberations in the deck as the four heavy Z-6 cannons on the side of the ship fired at the enemy. “I’ll keep their heads down, you boys get going.”

Said the pilot as he mashed the firing stubs down repeatedly. Razor jumped off the drop ship along with the two other troopers from his class.

He walked over to the end of the drop ramp and opened the hydraulic press clamp controls. He jammed the release button home and the Light Assault Vehicle fell from the back of the drop ship and bounced on the ground, its strong shocks absorbing the pressure of the fall.

Razor jogged around the back side of the vehicle then climbed into the passengers front seat as Lialos jumped into the front seat and Gung-ho jumped into the back or the “Blood Bucket" aptly nicknamed because it was the spot that most troopers who were shot were transported in.

Lialos gunned it straight past the Stormtrooper’s defensive line and they shot out across the no man’s land in between the two small bands of warriors. The rebel scum would occasionally pop their heads out from behind cover.

His T-21 light repeating blaster was making quick work out of the foolish and untrained rebels who attempted to oppose them.

Razor looked at Lialos and said, “What are you doing?  Lialos! We need to St--.”

Razor’s words caught in his throat as they hit the ramp shaped metal barricade that the rebels hid behind and were propelled into the air.
Lialos loosed a war cry as they rocketed over the enemy lines.

The assault vehicle began to turn in the air and when it landed it rolled violently coming to a stop on its side. Lialos rolled into a crouch directly behind the vehicle as Razor got up from the spot where the roll had thrown him.

Bolts whizzed around him as he ran toward the assault vehicle and took cover. Lialos had pulled Gung-ho out of the back of the assault vehicle and propped him up on a rock. A spiked piece of metal that had peeled off of the assault vehicle in the roll and impaled him through the back and out the front of his stomach.

Razor was about to ask him how he felt when a rebel came around the side of the vehicle.

Razor blasted him away and turned to Lialos, “We gotta get him outta here soon.”

“All we can do is kill all the rebels or hope for a rescue.”

Razor did not respond but instead turned and fired on the rebel that had been trying to sneak up on him.  His T-21 blaster kicked against him and blew the rebel away.

The stressed trooper climbed up onto the top of the the light assault vehicle and pulled out his DLT-20a and blasted away at the mass of troopers that surrounded the front side of the overturned vehicle. Razor jumped down and quickly released the spent power cells slamming two new ones home.

Lialos jumped off of the top of the assault vehicle and sliced a rebel in half and whipped his blade sideways cutting off another rebel’s arm. Razor quickly leapt back atop the vehicle and fired his blasters down into the crowd that was milling around Lialos. A stockade of troopers began to build around Lialos as things began to heat up.

The troopers on the other side of the beach had finally mustered and gotten their courage up.  Razor could clearly see them charge across the beach and crush the rear of the troopers who were attacking Razor and Lialos.

Razor jumped back off the assault vehicle and was quickly followed by the previously pinned Lialos.  They grabbed Gung-ho under both arms and pulled him up.  Razor pulled his flechette pistol from the hip holster as they began to edge around the side of the flipped vehicle.

Razor fired twice with the pistol and cleared a small area in front of the three troopers. They were quickly supported by the troopers who had charged across the beach.

“We’re gonna get you home buddy.” said Razor loudly to Gung-ho.

Razor could feel the heavy thrum in his boots as he climbed into the transport ship that would carry him away from this now red sand beach.

The tired trooper tightly gripped then thin plastic handhold in the back of the small and extremely packed drop ship.

He and his Heavy Weapons Specialist classmates had been inserted into a terrifically combat hot zone.

They had been inserted to liberate and ease the tension on some pinned down troopers. They had managed to take care of their mission but only at the cost of one of their dear friends and classmates.

As Razor looked back at the blood-stained beach he saw the terrible might of the Empire and wondered what cost it came at.

OOC:

-- You used the word inserted twice back to back here, watch that it gets repetitive, just throw the word into a thesaurus and choose a synonym to keep the flow.

'combat hot zone' = hot combat zone

“I’ll keep their heads down, you boys get going.”

Said the pilot as he mashed the firing stubs down repeatedly. <-- formating should not be separated by a space.

Overall good, I like the story you came up with and your action is well paced. Maybe a orientating paragraph before you are in the thick of it to describe where you and your classmates are, and you should do that from Razor's point of view so it isn't just a dry setting description

Also spend a bit more time on the weapons in question. Rather than just using them for the next stories actually tell me something about them, at the very least how they look and/or work.

This one Passes, just work on that stuff for the next story

Razor slid the heavy plastoid shield into the slot on the arm guard of his armor. He was riding in the back of a transport tank with the rest of a makeshift squad. A riot had broken out in the business district when one of the stocks had suddenly plummeted.

Razor had held a large amount of stocks in the company but he was so concerned that he wanted to rebel against all reason. Razor had been running the obstacle courses at the Tadath training center when the riot had broken out. He had been hurriedly suited up and thrown into the back of a heavy transport.

The transport was mounted with a powerful water cannon that would most likely break bones but would never kill. Since the start of the riot law enforcement squads had been trying to contain the blood hungry crowd and in response the crowd had killed three of the officers.

The law enforcement had called for backup and the nearest depot of stormtroopers had been at the training fields. The crowd was destroying stores and property all along the street and others were defacing public buildings. Razor saw all of this as he peered out of the window in the troop bay.

The transport tank rolled the crowd and razor watched the hatred in men and women as they clubbed the outside of the tank with bricks and pipes.

“Masks on” said one of the higher ranking troopers sitting next to Razor.

The tank stopped and people hurried to close the area around it. the crowd pounded on the door and was too busy trying to club their way into the tank to notice the tiny hatches opening on all four sides of the tank. The clink of the metal canisters rolling from them was inaudible under the angry shouts of the mob.

Suddenly the canisters exploded releasing a noxious gas into the air. The gas shocked the neural passages of all those surrounding the tank. The people who had inhaled the gas would be unable to control their body for the better part of the day and the air in the tight street began to fill with the stench of voided bowels.

In the lull that followed the troopers opened the door on the side of the tank and jumped out. Razor was now enjoying inhaling the taste of plastic inside of his gas mask rather than inhaling the stench of bowels and the noxious neural inhibitor gas.

Half of the troopers knelt in front of the firing line holding their shields up to stop bricks and other thrown detritus while the other troopers stood behind them shooting stun blasts into the crowd. Razor hefted his Z-6 and blasted away at the citizens on full auto.

He mashed down the firing studs on the reverse grip handle and the 6 barrels spun beautifully each time releasing a bolt that would absolutely knock a citizen down some times a bolt would singe part of one of the citizens clothing.

Even set to stun the Z-6s rotating barrels let out twenty powerful blasts every second. The irate citizens could not advance on the RC squad. He knocked down citizen after citizen, ducking occasionally to reload or to dodge a brick that got past the shield-bearers.

The crowd however was not to be denied, they pushed forward pressing the troopers back against the tank. Razor dropped his Z-6 and pulled his 500 squad repeating blaster riot gun and blasted away on single shot as the citizen pressed them even harder onto the tank. The smaller rifle could lay down half as much fire as the six barreled gun but it was deadly accurate.

He blasted away at the citizens around him the matte black gun knocking them down and stunning them.  The citizens however, just pushed harder against the sweating troopers

Razor quickly scrambled onto the top of the tank and continued firing down on the crowd as the other troopers climbed onto the top. His Z-6 was smashed to bits by the trampling feet of the crowd which raged around the transport tank.

The last trooper began to pull himself up onto the tank when his foot was grabbed by the raging crowd. The troopers grabbed onto their squad mates wrist and heaved backward. It seemed as if the crowd would not be denied the kill but Razor would not be denied his squad mate.

He rammed the but of his rifle into the face of the beefy man who was hauling down upon the trooper.

Blood fountained from the man’s nose and the warmth of the blood seeped through the the cloth areas of his armor. He grabbed the man’s wrist and hauled backwards with all of his might, falling as the crowd lost its grip on him.

The troopers saw that this was a battle they would not win with their current tactics. Razor continued to keep the crowd off of the tank with his 500 repeating blaster while the other troopers hammered out a plan to stop the crowd.

Finally one of the men in the squad tapped him on the shoulder to relieve him from defending the tank. The troopers turned to look at Razor as he joined their circle.

Taloun looked at him and simply muttered, “Sound blasts.”

Razor nodded and pulled three sound grenades from the grenade pouch fixed to his back.  The other troopers followed suit and threw their grenades. The grenades rolled amongst the crowd and exploded releasing sound blasts that knocked numerous people out by bursting their eardrums and shattering any clenched teeth.

The crowd now only had a few fuming members left standing who half heartedly threw things at the tank and were brutally put down with numerous stun bolts from the Riot Control squad.

The clean up crews would be through the streets to retrieve all members who had been in the riot and put them into the jails around Tadath.  Another battle complete.

Heavy Weapons Specialist: Level 7
Lance Corporal Razorsedge
Weapons: M32 "Thumper", M224-A3 "Surf 'n Turf"

Razor hefted his M327 “Thumper” as he sprinted through the hallways of the large space station.  He hadn’t had time to put on his armor when the alarms bells had started ringing.

He had gotten to the nearest armory as fast as he had been able to. he had been on the fast track when he had joined the Empire’s grand army. He was already a Lance Corporal; but one slip up on a mission led to him being stuck in the most boring job known to the army, space station duty.

It wasn’t that things couldn’t be exciting on space station duty it was that Razor had been stuck on duty on the Titan.  The Titan was a medical service station for all injured personnel and located on the outer rim.

This space station had been attacked before but the security had gotten better since then so no one was expecting the attack when it came.  That put Razor at his present location where he had just dropped behind a barricade to watch twenty or so of the enemy walk by from a recently landed breach pod.

They walked past calmly checking the hallways as they passed but not checking thoroughly enough to find Razor crouched behind an overturned table.  The last trooper passed the front of the hallway and razor vaulted over the table and, rolling sideways over his shoulder landed in a crouching position in the hallway directly behind the squad of troopers.

He fired twice and the twin thumps elicited a response from the advancing enemies.  They turned and when they saw the two grenades all they had time for was a startled “Oh.” Before the grenades landed among them and ripped their unit to shreds with fragments of burning metal.

Well they kicked this station in the ass, now they get to meet it’s teeth, Razor thought as he continued down the hall to the armor rooms.

He stood on the black square in the center of the room and yelled, “Lance Corporal razorsedge activation code C-124-HA5.”  The ground opened around Razor and mechanical arms put the pieces of his outside armor on for him.

When the suit was completely on and all the arms had retracted Razor turned on his squad mike.  Through his ears came a burst of static then a shout from one of the orderlies that one of the breach pods had landed a deck above Razor and that any and all personnel need to get to that floor because it was not yet fully evacuated.  Razor ran across the hall and looked into the weapons stashed in the repair closet when he saw it.  It was one of the most beautiful things he had ever seen, the M224-A3 or the “Surf ‘n Turf.”  Hello Beautiful, Razor thought to himself.

He grabbed the big gun which weighed a ton and walked back into the center of the hall.  He began shooting at the ceiling.  A circular section of floor fell out from the ceiling and Razor aimed his wrist mounted grappling hook up into the next floor.  He fired and the hydraulic winch struggled against the tremendous weight to pull Razor onto the next floor.

The now sweating trooper dove into the nearest treatment bay as he found himself caught in the cross fire between the boarders and the stations defenders. He reached his gun out into the hall and, as shots pinged around his hands he let half of the clip rip from the tremendously powerful gun.

Razor jumped out into the hallway while pulling two concussive stun grenades from his belt.  He felt the release clip in his hand as the grenades fell from the belt.  He threw the grenades at the last three standing guards. Their faces showed a look of astonishment at being overwhelmed three to one where they had, just a moment ago been overwhelmingly outnumbering any opposition.

Razor and the other defenders of the station used durawire to tie the to a pipe that was protruding from the wall.  Razor dropped his heavy weaponry and walked to the armory that was directly across the hall and found a collection of his signature weapons.  There were throwing razors and broadswords and fast strike batons.  Razor strapped one of the broadswords on his back and two throwing razors on each wrist.

The entire squad walked down the passage.  There were numerous reports flooding in from the orderlies of small arms blaster fights on ever floor, however it was clear to Razor and his now assembled defense squad that they had to get to the emergency escape pod bays and defend the patients and orderlies who were being ejected from the space station.

They rounded a corner and realized they reached the escape pod bays just in time.  The orderlies had a firing line that was on the verge of breaking.  Razor ran to the wall of the cavernous launch bay and moved into a flanking position.  He put on his Vibro knuckleduster and pulled out his broadsword.  The defense squad fired and Razor threw his throwing razors into the invaders ranks.  For a moment the invaders had no idea what happened and that moment coupled with the second of confusion as they crumpled from two sides gave Razor the time he needed to behead one of the remaining two opponents.  He turned and punched his Vibro knuckleduster through the faceplate of the last invader.

The orderlies quickly finished loading the patients into the escape pods and once Razor and his squad had recieved confirmation of the final ship jumping into llightspeed did they move away from the launch bay.  They began a thorough sweep of the entire station.

There were only a few noteworthy encounters one of which involved Razor firing one of his beloved M404 “Drainpipe” rockets into a recently landed invasion pod and blowing it and all of the rebel troopers inside to tiny pieces.  Razor did not enjoy the next three days which were spent in vacuum sealed action suits, the stench of your own sweat, and sleepless nights on watch.  After the station was declared completely clear of enemies Razor and his squad were allowed to return to their respective home-worlds, but since razor had no real place to call home it was back to the training fields on Tadath while repair crews came to the station.
