Sabian rubbed his hands excitedly as he looked over the ship, hell he hadn't felt this excited since he started working on his Hawkbat, now that was a work of art and in fact he had flew it to the ship yard where the fuzz ball was modifying his ship. Already ideas were rolling through his head as his Mandalorian blood started to boil with in him.  Finding the captains chair he floped down in it and said “She's going to be wicked fast” Ph'rranix replied as he chuckled “How fast?” Sabian grinned “Any other ship this size wont catch up. That includes blockade runner corvettes.”

The “list” in Sabian's head was a work in progress but man it was list. Jotting some information down he handed it to the Wookiee. “I want to put this in here, plus make a hanger for a flight of fighters, seeing as you are a bit undermanned I suggest Tri-fighters.” Sabian was speaking almost faster than any one could keep up as ideas ran through his head. “Umm what color do you want it painted? Oh! Also that list is fluid and subject to change by you me and availability of parts. One last thing any droids you have that can help I'm gona need helping I'll call Grand ma and see if she has any droids she can spare as well plus make sure any heavy equipment I need I have access to.” The Mandalorian smiled as figured things out as he went.

Sabian gave a bit of a settle down motion to the Wookiee “Easy easy we gotta prepare the ship before we get to the armor theres still a lot of work to be done my friend....Pea Won!!” Soon a custom built probe droid was in site and spoke wit a bit of a western twang “Yes boss?” Sabian began to give him orders “All right I'm putting you in charge of the droid detail in the main cargo bay I want the floor cut out opening the  entire room to space, after that I want ports cut out evenly on both sides for 6 quad laser cannons, 4 ion cannons, and 8 turbolasers. Also cut out missile tubes 4 forward 2 aft on the belly.” The droid spoke “I'll be a tight fit boss for all of that in this ship.” Sabian replied “But it can be done so get to it, and when your done with that install shield barriers and the internal port doors on all the ports.

While the droids worked on cutting out the ports Sabian went to a holonet station and placed the order for dura-steel armor plating with an underlying layer of nonconducting composite material to give it some shielding against Ion Cannons. Once he made that order an idea sparked through Sabian mind.
Returning to the ship he gathered a few repair and astormech droids and began to give them orders. “Alright this is what I am wanting to do. I want resettable breakers placed on every deck and separate the decks with a layer of nonconducting composite material. Use hardening foam if you can't  separate the decks any other way just make sure its nonconducting.”  With orders set to isolate the various ships systems in the event of Ion cannon bombardment Sabian set him self to work routing the Nebulon-B power plants power the way he would want it.

Two primary lines coming from both power plants routing their way directly to the weapons systems first and foremost, the second primary lines going directly to the engines. From the engines the power was routed through out the rest of the main systems giving seventy percent (70%) of the total draw from the power plants to the weapons. After thinking a little bit Sabian ordered the original Action VI power plants to be reinstalled in series parallel with the larger power plants. These smaller power plants would be dedicated to the shields allowing more power for the other main systems but would still allow power to be transferred where it was needed in an emergency situation.

The work on the internal ion shielding and power routing took days to accomplish even with the help of multiple construction, repair and astromech droids plus Pea Won. The ships weapon and docking ports were cut and installed in a timely fashion now all that was left of the conversions was installing the weapons and shields themselves and other internal equipment plus the armor. In the new docking bay Sabian and  Ph'rranix over saw the installation of articulating, universal fighter drop claws which can turn from horizontal to vertical to launch and recover fighters. The drop claws were automatically controlled via the ships main computer.

How do you like your ship now

Sabian enjoyed the day off even though he felt a bit uncomfortable taking a break before getting the job done. He went to a local restaurant and ordered a big meal of  grilled shellfish, steamed brown rice, a nice drink of mead and some tea. The meal was enjoyable so was the atmosphere nice quiet music no one yelling and carrying on and no bar fights. After dinner he went to a holovid basically he just unwound. After unwinding for the day Sabian met back up with his furry companion at his speeder and made his way back to the ship.

Once back on the ship Sabian returned to his work on the weapons systems. Time to tackle the problem at hand. How to make weapon systems fully automated with out taking away to much power from the ships main computer. The solution was simple enough if  Ph'rranix was willing to dish out some more of his money for them. Sabian was certain he would so he prepared the weapons systems accordingly. By now the weapons themselves had arrived and the droids had started installing them. As each weapon was installed Sabian setup an assembly that could hold a droid brain in it, setting up a manual override so that a organic gunner could man the weapons. The only weapons that weren't going to be automated were the missile's those would be launched directly from the weapons console on the captains chair.

Along with the weapons the armor was also delivered, and compared to the weapons it was easy to install. Each piece was linked and fit snuggly micro-welded against the hull formed around the ports perfectly. All in all the armor was the fastest part of the entire modification of the ship.

After an eventful rundown of the ship which nearly shook the ship to atoms Sabian performed a major tune up  of  the ships main systems. He installed extra inertial dampers to compensate for all the extra power coming from the power plants and engines. The final thing Sabian would install in this new ship would be  installing a new navigation system. Not only would this system navigate and plot courses by hyperspace beacons it would also do so via pulsar telemetry. Almost as soon as Sabian finished his portion of the modifications  Ph'rranix called on his communicator and announced his completion of the ships new sublight engine installation as well.

Once every thing was tuned up, installed and modified Sabian had an R2 unit record instructions for his Wookiee friend.

“ Ph'rranix welcome to your one of a kind capitol ship, I'll leave it to you to name it. So lets get started First her capabilities. Put simply your ship will out run any thing in its weight class  in statistical terms it will do easily one hundred MGLT. Now that being said she is not a fighter and inertia is against you and if you try and turn her to hard she sill snap in half like a twig. Now on to the armor and shields you shields are both particle and ray shields powered interdependently by the ships original power plants. That means one hundred percent of those power plants energy go straight to the shields. The armor is durasteel as thick as I could I could get it with out compromising acceleration with a layer of non conductive composite material underneath the armor its self. Along with the layer of nonconducting material I have set up breakers to further isolate ships systems from ion canon fire, not making your ship ion proof but it'll take more fire to do the damage than on a comparable ship. Finally the ships lasers and ion canons are interdependently operated via droid brains I suggest B-3 or better battle droid brains but I have set it up to where a person can switch to manual control and fire it themselves. Sabian took the entry system and said "Thanks, if am in need of it  i'll use it but this is your ship too so how bout half owner ship?" With that Sabian took the controls and showed Stormz how far the ship could be pushed.
