To help get attention, and possibly boost recruitment of qualified writers, I have taken the liberty of making a fanfiction.net account called "The Vast Empire". I intend to post selected stories from the StoryNet to the site, with the writers permission and that of the HC. One such story would be the group "Paradise Burning" story, and certain group stories could be written with this goal in mind. I posted what was at hand, and high quality. Halo writers tend to be higher quality writers than their SW counterparts on FF, and most of the expert writers I've seen were there. Aye, a Halo story kind of beats the purpose of this to be honest.
Anywho, the original idea was taking Chapter stories, cleaning them up and then posting them under a Vast Empire account. I am for the idea (this is the third time it has come up to my knowledge), however if we want it to work, we need to keep it with updating a new story/chapter/whatever every so often. That's the hard part. Once that goes through, becomes significantly easier. |

Point taken. Any ideas about the SW story then? URL's or text files welcomed...
We could start with the HSC's. The problem with our stuff is that it runs the risk of reading like the writing of a schizophreniac when posted in the Fanfiction.net format, not least because of different subplots and writing styles. For multi-squad competitions, organizing it by squad may be the way to go. "A Gift for Thrawn" comes to mind...
To be honest, the DJO stories might be the best written. However, they might provide readers with the wrong impression and/or be mistaken for one of the numerous Mary Sue w lightsaber fics drifting around in the SW section.

Some may require some clean up anyway. For example, if a squad has two groups doing different things, it'd be better to group some of the posts together, then cut to another group's stuff, and then back to the first, instead of virtually every paragraph being different.
