It stays capitalized in some places, but in others it goes to lower case. Ok, so I go to get my name capitalized. It gets done. A few hours later boom, everytime I post it becomes uncapitalized. But, when you look at the current active members bar it clearly shows up as Joamer.
I've talked to Cosmic about this, but he's out of ideas. So if anyone else who has more insight into this oddball bug, I'm all ears.
To avoid any confusion... when I post it shows up as joamer, but I would like it to show up as Joamer. Not all capital letters, I'm not that crazy. |

This is an odd sort of bug. As far as the database is concerned the name is capitalized. This is evidenced by the capitalization on the roster and in the 'currently active' members display for comnet. I'm really not sure why it is reverting for some posts and not for others. His name is also capitalized on the FGB - even when I go to Edit Member Profiles, he is 'Joamer'. According to the database:
memberName = 'Joamer'
memberNameStub = 'Joamer'
firstname = ' joamer'
'firstname' is the only instance of where it is lowercase... not sure how that causes the problem as I think one of the first two is what the comnet uses, but perhaps bumping up the firstname to 'Joamer' as well might fix things. |
